    I adore the E92 design, I have always liked it since first seeing it in 2006. It's a timeless design and hasn't aged a day. I already previously owned a 335i and loved it. I got rid of it when we had a baby but now I want another E92 and this video sold the car to me all over again. Great video. Subbed.

    I've been driving over 30 years and have had way too many cars to mention, probably in the hundreds, including new and nearly new. I bought my pre lci E92 330d as a stop gap after my e36 m3 got stolen. I've now owned it for a personal best 3 and a bit years. I absolutely love the thing.
    It's now on 152,000 miles and still going like a train. Best car i've ever owned. Thats why I've spent too much money on it, all new suspension bushings, Bilstein B12 kit, remap, Quaife LSD etc etc.
    They're fast, great handling (in a RWD way), great looking, fairly practical, reliable (mine has been anyway) and does 40mpg minimum. Great car!

      Torque of the Devil I couldn’t agree with you more! I have found my car to be totally reliable, never given me any issues, it just works! Handy you can stream your music via blue-tooth! I have a non-face lift 320i and it has the USB-In as well as the AUX-In. For the face-lift models is the USB-In option still available as well as the blue-tooth?, would be handy to have both? Am curious what you have inside your centre arm-rest (I know some models have the cup cooler)?

      Hey, thanks for the compliments! It’s a lovely combination. Having audio over Bluetooth is just so handy. You’ll see in the video what I have in the centre armrest. I still have the Aux but no USB. The USB is now in the glove box(mainly used to update the Satnav) and enough to charge my phone, not sure if it can carry audio however.
      Yes some do have cooling cup holders in the armrest, I did the E93 M3 recently and that had it! Great option to have! Thanks for watching! 😊

Now I just saw one for sale with 27k original miles on it , black on black , automatic trans. But I love the analog aspect of it as well as the real old school beauty BMW body lines and n/a straight 6. What a beauty still in 2024

    Not all facelift/LCI do Bluetooth audio streaming. This is a feature introduced in 2011 if I remember correctly.
    The reason that the M3 didn't get the LCI headlights is that the front bumper needed to be changed to fit the "droopy" LCI headlights. I don't like the shape of the LCI headlights anyway. It makes the car look less aggressive. Looks much better in the dark though.
    335i : no LSD and weak points are HPFP and turbo.
    M3: LSD, more grip but higher cost and risk of engine catastrophic failure.

      I have a 2008 320d M sport Manual. I be honest, the E92 is a money pit particularly the N47 engine has a time chain problem, that gives out every 100,000kms plus or so. And if the seller hasn't provided you with a record of them changing that timing chain just save your money. It's a really fun car to drive especially in manual but damn it I was unlucky I got one that needed quite a bit of work but I love it.

    The M57 is more reliable than the N57 plus here in germany at least you pay same taxes and same insurance, so of course people will most likely buy a 335d before the 330d. But if you want a manual gearbox or an xdrive you have to get the 330d cause there is none in the 335d which is a shame :( I will go for the 335d cause people said its more reliable has noticeably more power and fuel consumtion is about 1 liter more which is fair enough for 41 hp and 60nm more... Of course one which is not chipped and been taking care of... Cause I also heard that the N57 on the 330d is more stable for remapping than the 335d !

      Hey Antonis, the 325d is still a 3 litre like the 330d, however it’s detuned to be slightly less powerful than the 330d. Good way to sell both I guess!

    Hey guys idk much about cars but I’m interested in this kind of bmw. Can you buy a newer display for the car?

      If you're talking about the infotainment displays from newer BMWs then no, you could get some android display with more options than this outdated one.

    I'm looking at purchasing an E90 325d Auto. Anything to look out for?!

    • @BobbyDrives
      @BobbyDrives  2 года назад +1

      Hi Hasan, Depending on mileage, check that timing chain has been changed. Engine is quite bullet proof, so just make sure it’s been serviced properly and well looked after 👍🏼

      @@BobbyDrives Hi, thanks! I've found a 2010 E90 325d Auto with 87k on the clock. Full BMW History over the past 10 years. Need to get more info regarding chain etc. It's going to be my first car, just turned 20, so wish me luck!

      Congratulations on your new car bro! Always a buzz when getting a new car and plus you’re only 20 years old - you’re doing well! Car sounds good, if timing chain hasn’t been changed, get it looked at soon, because that’s the average mileage to get it checked. Great purchase!

    You need to put neon underglow kit on, some M3 badges and lots of fake carbon Chinese ebay parts on it. 😉 no seriously nice car and colour combo.

      Haha! Fast and furious style 🤣 M3 badges is the worst one 😂 thanks bro appreciate it!

    You lost me when you said you didn’t know the 330d was turbo’d and that you’re beating M3’s 😂

    • @BobbyDrives
      @BobbyDrives  3 года назад +1

      Yep that’s right, I had a moment and realised all diesels have turbos! Which I knew, not sure why I even said it. But yeah put a stock E46 M3 next to me and I’ll be gone 💨

    Does your car have the bhp/torque display ? If so,it would indicate if it's been tuned or not from standard.I've had my '66 plate 330D X Drive stage 1 tuned and the drive display now shows the extra HP and torque.

      Hey, unfortunately I wouldn’t know as this is the older model. You have a 2016 BMW which would probably give you more information, this car doesn’t have that. That’s a nice feature though!

    Opinion on 328i/330i vs 330d?

    • @BobbyDrives
      @BobbyDrives  2 года назад +1

      Hey, I’d choose the 330i over the 328i, newer engine and better power and fuel economy. Get the 330d if you do a lot of mileage, great on fuel and fast! 👍🏼
