Galway was lovely ,used to go to Tuam in the 80s and from Tullamore with beet , loved seeing them stone walls again , how can you moan at that scenery lol , love the vids my friend
Great video Ned. Nice to see ya down my neck of the woods between ballina and Sligo that diversion was in place for 3 bloody weeks. Keep up the great videos Ned
Great to see a new video ned, all going well I'll have my C&E done and passed next week, it was your euro trip videos that inspired me to give it a go and start my self on a new career path. Looking forward to getting off the tippers, and in an artic.
Hello, I was interested in your comments about not always following the 'Satnav'. I can think of one particular road in the NorthWestern outskirts of Sydney, that is one lane each way and has hairpin bends, and warning signs banning Any vehicle over 7 M in length (including caravans) from going down that road. Every so often you will hear a traffic report saying an over length vehicle has become stuck in Galston Gorge. There are warning signs on the roadside And painted measuring lines on the road itself, giving you ample warning to turn around if you are overlength. People just ignore the warnings, and then become stuck on the first hairpin bend, when the Police and RMS inspectors arrive, the just say that they were following their satnav! It is a hefty fine and points off your licese, so it pays to be careful!.
I used to always pulled in the hand shoulder to let impatient fuckers by when I was on perennial freight when I lived over there for a couple of years but I got nicked on the N11 by a bad bastard of a cop on a bike so I stopped doing it unless it was a good clear run. class videos sir.
Hi Ned you talk about lazy way and correct way two things I spotted you never done you never checked trailer brake was on especially with split coupling I know it can’t move anyway and where was the tug test, still another great entertaining video though keep up the good work
Well Done Ned thanks for another great video have you heard of Claremorris and I saw you 3 weeks ago in Dublin port I think keep er lit lad up Mayo for Sam
Love when people pass trucks here in Sweden on one of our 2-1 lanes, where you have 2 lanes for 1.5km and they pass the truck going 1mph faster, i pass putting my foot down and give the truck plenty of room before going in in front of him, if i can't do that i just wait for the next 2 lane stretch.
With a Fridge Trailor and Close Coupled Trailors it makes it Harder to Connect the Air and Electrical Supplies, however, it is always best to Ensure the Trailor Brake is on prior to Connection of the Air/Elec Supplies which looks like Ned Failed to do. When our Company Subbied some Units to Morrissons they would Kick us off Site if they saw us do this method.
If somebody pulled out of a farm yard and your doing 90 on the hard shoulder do you think that's ok ,I've seen a farmer killed because of that style of driving but I'm sure you know best
Great video ned, good to have you and mo back but i did realise when you hitched up to the trailer you didnt put the clip on to stop the fifth wheel releasing? Or does this wagon have a different set up?
hi ned I think chating to mo helps keep your blood pressure at a safe level considering the stressful job you do I think every euro you are paid is well earned big time.where in ballina did you live for 8 years .?
As usual Ned great video......can you answer a question for me please, What is Nolan Transport like to work for , they are looking for drivers in Runcorn Cheshire, loading out of Holyhead and Liverpool, hope you can help, be safe out there......
Hi Joe I use gopro hero 7 hero 6 black and hero 4 silver. And extreem sd cards the ones that are recommended with the go pro. I find them best because they are always in focus. I've never filmed in 4k just 1080p.i have a canon 90D also but it's still In the box I'm too lazy to learn how to use it like the mavik air drone lol 😆
Ned have you got different regs in Ireland, I haven't seen taps on air lines for years, I thought they were illegal, to stop numptys driving off without turning the footbrake line on
Great to see Mo back on the road again, your cruel to him Ned, I mind when my mother used to lick her handkerchief then wipe my face😂😂. Once again Ned great video, cyclists rule ok😂😂😂😂😂. Kind regards Johnny
after dropping the tractor suspension slightly back half under then re raise the suspension so its in contact with the trailer the first thing always used to do, was pull on the trailer parking brake- if not already on; then raise the suspension, then connect the lines and back right under. Then test pull to make sure I’m fully locked in; then raise the trailer legs; then the number plate on and push off the trailer parking brake. reset the air suspension, then drive away. Simple and sorted
I have to thank truckers like you who make these kinds of videos. It gives me a chance to see another part of the world.

great video ned
I’ve done that and the trailers come at me lol

It's not aggressive it's called making progress, good video Ned, quality lol
Kevin Bent
Cheers bud 👍
Another thing you didn't do Ned,reguardless if it's a trailer you know, before hooking the lines up,your didn't check the handbrakes on.
Excellent as always
Nice roads in the country, i like it
Why do you not hook the trailer in as soon as you back into it ?
With a Fridge Trailor and Close Coupled Trailors it makes it Harder to Connect the Air and Electrical Supplies, however, it is always best to Ensure the Trailor Brake is on prior to Connection of the Air/Elec Supplies which looks like Ned Failed to do. The second tip was a cruise down memory lane eh Ned. It’s seems like a nice little town but I’ve never been there so I don’t know how it really is.
Where did u get the lad that sits in the cab
An ex girlfriend bought him for me in Florida in 1994. She said he reminded her of me 😁
If somebody pulled out of a farm yard and your doing 90 on the hard shoulder do you think that's ok ,I've seen a farmer killed because of that style of driving but I'm sure you know best
If someone pulls out of a farm yard onto a main road without looking chances are they will get hit. I am always conscious of the unexpected pat 👍
Watch all videos from Ned ......love Mo ❤️❤️
Great video ned, good to have you and mo back but i did realise when you hitched up to the trailer you didnt put the clip on to stop the fifth wheel releasing? Or does this wagon have a different set up?
There's a spring loaded bar that clicks down when the trailer connects Jordan

Just 2 questions Ned, did you get that giant bug at 30:55 and why didn't you play "Into the West" by Annie Lennox.. keep the videos coming . Larry
Do you do a tug test?
All the people who are making clever comments about "you didn't do this" and "what, no lights/tyre checks" - have they not heard of video editing!?
my dad works for Virginia logistics
Keep on rolling Net see you de road
i'd be terrified of that doll :D
As usual Ned great video......can you answer a question for me please, What is Nolan Transport like to work for , they are looking for drivers in Runcorn Cheshire, loading out of Holyhead and Liverpool, hope you can help, be safe out there......
Phillip Humphreys

Great videos ned.. quick question what gear do you use for recording? What camera what memory cards size yano?

lloyd anstice
Well chap
Someone else told me the same thing but you know we’re a bit backward here 🤣
@@NedKellyIreland nothing wrong with being a bit laid-backwards lol too many stressed out drivers making too many mistakes

Guirys Pub, Foxford, Co. Mayo. Best Pub in Ireland.
And what would be the speed limit for you on that road where you were complaining about the rigid doing less than 80kph?
First thing I do with every new SatNav is Change the Voice to Male, because I steadfastly Refuse to have a woman Telling Me where to Go.
Blackwater House Cork Mine usually advises me to go to hell, very annoying !
Do you not have dog clips on your fifth wheels in Ireland?
Yup, a long hood pete or KW would not get around these places.
Tight and small roads.
Nice vids
manuel Be good to see some cabover Kennys over here , show them what a real truck looks like ?
Great vid as always Ned would of preferred a better camera angle not a fan of staring at Moe`s ugly mug for over 30 mins lol
Pixel Warrior
I agree with you on that 1
A few said the same ;)
Are you a Dubliner Ned? What part?
Great to see Mo back on the road again, your cruel to him Ned, I mind when my mother used to lick her handkerchief then wipe my face😂😂. Once again Ned great video, cyclists rule ok😂😂😂😂😂.

Don't ever trust a sat nav....unless you're a Stobart driver lol
I go on that road every day in a r450 skip lorry
