It's true, fruits and vegetables do contain carbohydrates, but that's no reason to leave them off your plate. Fruits and veggies contain varying amounts of carbs, so choosing the right ones, in the right amounts, means you can enjoy the health benefits of these delicious and versatile foods while you cut carbs.
His POINT his RECOMMENDATION was to use food as medicine and to focus on foods that reduce inflammation. He didn’t say he prefers eating sugar and carbs. FYI, there are two types of carbs.… He’s not saying to eat both types. Keto may be good for weight loss, but for most people it leads to higher cholesterol which leads to heart disease in about 10 years. For some people the time frame is much shorter.
