Cruise the Seine into PARIS world FAMOUS landmarks & UNDER the streets - that's sailing?

Ep 14: Sailing through Paris to the Med. French Canals and Rivers the Long Way Down. We uncover truths about the birth place of the famous city and help a good friend to experience all this on her first visit. Going north from Arsenal we go underground beneath the boulevards and monuments along the 19th Century fresh water supply route. Another goal achieved: sail our boat through #paris to experience landmarks and bridges from a different perspective. It was wonderful to #travel in this way to see these stand out sights: Versailles, Louvre, Petit Palais, Eiffel Tower, Statue of Liberty, Notre Dame, Arc de Triomphe, Les Invalides, Sacre Coer, Place de la Concorde, Place de la Bastille. There's so much to see!

Thanks for your comment Brad, and for watching. Seeing Paris from the river is so good - and obvs it's cheaper to buy river taxi ticket, but then staying on your own boat is cheaper than a hotel.

Was this shot 3 weeks ago (March 2023?). We are following that route in June. Seems very quiet, I guess the season has not started.

Hello Bob, this was in August 2021 not long after the pandemic travel bans had been lifted. The really busy time on the water is from mid July to and of August - which we tend to avoid. Enjoy your trip and let us know how you get on.
