Great vid. My favourite SMG4 videos has always been the ssenmodnar series, especially 5-7. I'm a sucker for short skits.
Same. I loved stuff like Sonic Shorts and ssenmodnar was right up my alley
3:24 The plot that you described fits the "what happened tonight" format, i mean, try to remember and piece together the events that led the characters to that chaotic and unreal scenario
It's a shame that SMG4 thought this video wasn't as good as his others. It’s genuinely creative and better than most of his recent videos.
the hangover was pretty good It's my top 20 best smg4 videos in my opinion overall i have been a fan of smg4 since 2017 or 2018 one of those i like old and new tbh i see good episodes ok ones and bad ones overall good video btw
Took a while for me to watch the video fully and I cannot believe you included the qna clip where he answers my dumbass question.
My grammar at the time was ass and my friends have never let me live that down, so for a time I was known as "Were you thought guy" on our private discord server.
The clip and the video did make me reflect on the past of SMG4 though. Although I stopped watching around the point when he hit 1 million subscribers. I can't deny that him and his brother gave me a lot of positive moments during my adolescence. Evident by me commenting to him on Facebook of all things.
And I occasionally rewatch his older videos to reconnect with a younger version of me who really loved everything Mario (still do haha).

The second FNAF video was always my favourite. It had the best jokes imo, from Withered Bonnie's clap-your-hands-at-gunpoint sequence to Purple Guy and Puppet desperately trying to keep Mario in the music box, only to overload the winding mechanism
My first SMG4 video was actually Freddy’s Spagetteria but I basically became a fan from that point on. I actually don’t mind the modern episodes but I get why some people don’t like them as much, especially with the redesigns. But hey, at least it did lead to them leaving a footprint on the internet with the indie shows (most notably Murder Drones and Digital Circus) for better or worse. As for favorite episode, I can’t say as there’s a lot of good ones to choose from. Most would probably be the safe answers anyways (ie the Ssenmodnar series or the Simulator series)
Funnily enough, I knew of SMG4 way before he released Who Let the Chomp Out. Watching those funny shit in my old ass phone reminded me of better times.
And funnily enough, when he made all those old peak shit, he was a kid as well. Now he is a responsible adult who essentially started up his own company, so of course he changed, and decided to make more original content. After all, he couldn't just make his dough with Mario parodies forever...
The hangover is such a unique and cool video, and its a shame that smg4 hates it just because it was hard to make. And thats kind of a stupid reason to hate a video.
Lot can be said about SMG4 now, but still it does makes sense that they would want to change things up after all these years.
Even with some emotional things like with Desti, at least it can be good practice for their original content.
But yeah, even I feel not interested in their latest work, not just their teir list and remakes.
Also can’t ignore that voice acting drama (legal drama, so would still gladly take it instead of the ‘illegal’ drama)

I have an idea for you. You should do this thing called "M&S Sprite Animation Hot Takes and Ideas." Where you gather hot takes or ideas from the sprite animation community (maybe on a community post or any socials) and simply discuss them in a video. I feel like it would be a good load of videos to do in between your reviews/roasts of sprite series.

@@MMG2489Thanks. I got this idea from a RUclipsr I watch called TSO Sage who does this for animes (mainly the Dragon Ball Series). Pretty much just drop a community post on youtube, or any other social just asking people (fans and animators alike) to give their thoughts on plots, fights, characters, series, originality, animation time, etc. Then make a video giving your responses to those opinions. 😁👍🏾

I don't know WHY Mario Goes To The Fridge To Get A Glass Of Milk is getting so many views that it's about to overtake WLTCO. Like, yeah that was a pretty good episode, better than most of the other 2019 ones, but it's just a random episode, it's not considered particularly iconic to the channel or anything and doesn't get referenced much, unlike WLTCO, doesn't get super promoted or anything, there's not much that special about it beyond just being the first episode of 2019, and for a while it seemed to have just sat comfortably with its 20 mil view count, but now it's suddenly been skyrocketing and overtaking all the "untouchable" most popular videos on the channel, and I can't figure out WHY, it's so weird. And it's just been happening pretty silently too, I'm not sure I've heard anyone else mention or actually notice this has been happening.
Does this make us some kind of The Hangover Part 3?

All the OC models are so ugly. I don't even mean the ones that people complain about a lot already like the new SMG4 model, but Human Meggy, Tari, etc. So unpleasant to look at.
@@firstnamelastnamesb I actually don't mind Meggy's model, the ones that actually look ugly to me are SMG4, SMG3 and Fishy Boopkins
@@MMG2489 That's the general consensus. I think Meggy's face looks the same as the SMG4/3 ones do, though, just put on an Inkling body instead of Mario's.
