    This is a really good idea. I wish I had thought of it when I used to have my printers on a shelf like this at my old house

    If it’s just to prevent drafts that’s one thing, but calling this an enclosure is like throwing a handful of sandbox sand at something and calling it sandblasting.
    A. No temp control
    B. No exhaust
    C. Doesn’t get anywhere near hot enough just from ambient bed heat
    D. Not remotely insulated so a lot of ambient heat is just going to leech into the room.
    Etc.
    Not saying this is dumb, it’s still useful, it’s just not a printing enclosure.
