*Note* - To the viewers who post that the "Tires are Too stiff".. You may be overlooking the fact there is snow on the ground.. and it is 0c degrees outside. There isn't an RC tire on the market that wont solidify in the winter.. Pitbulls, Prolines, RC4WD's, ALL of them get stiff in cold weather. Not to mention these tires are brand new.
definitely was noticing those stiff tires, you might want to check out some of those new duratrax tires, I hear they work pretty well, and proline just released a bunch of new products recently you might want to check out
Hey medic i have been watching your channel for a couple years now and iv been wanting a crawler for some time I finally took the plunge and got a scx10 and man i gotta say you make it look easy so keep up the good work love the vids !
I love how it has a three speed transmission that you can control I also love that this video is almost 18 minutes long LOL ohh damn, that suspension flex EY....
RCSparks Studio no thank you for you're driving skills and you're creativity on filming all of you're videos Haha. I can. To wait to get this hopefully. I have race RC cars from 1/18 to 1/6th scale, and I'd love to give you one of my favorite's that I have owned since I have been 5 years old haha.id love it, if we could talk privately some time 😁😬😄😁😁
I agree.. but I think the tires will get softer with use. Just like a good pair of sneakers ;) Don't think you will see mine in the mud just yet.. it is not waterproofed as yet, and I really like having a non-squeaky truck for once.. HAHA!
***** last winter I put a drop of motor oil on all of my bearings, no squeaks yet? But then again, I lost count of all of the axle and knuckle parts I've been through? I'm taking it out of town for a while, all out of spare axle parts, no worries though, hotel is right next to a Hobbie town!
Watching your videos has definitely inspired me to get back into RC-ing. I used to have a bunch of toy-grades as a kid, but the only "hobbygrade" I've had was an Xmods Supra from radioshack (to tell you how long ago that was...some 7-8 years or so now). Watching all your vids this past month or so (only recently found you) has definitely reignited that spark in me for sure! Keep up the great work, and hopefully some day soon I'll have my own rig to make videos of
hey, looking to get into the world of RC and thinking about starting with an axial bomber. i'm rather mechanically inclined and wondering if i should go with the kit or the RTR. PS watching from Chilliwack, BC
Ted Saunders kit version if you think you can handle it. when you break something you won't be scared to death tearing it apart. you do have to source all the electronics though vs just a battery with the rtr.
You are welcome my friend! I was trying to remember all of the requests.. and the articulation shots were a MUST ! Thanks for taking part in the production of the show! :) Comments are always welcome
Dear Medic, love your show. Great respect for the way you've turned your life around. In the last few months I've seen just about everything you made and I must say; you've got me hooked. Nice tutorials and lots of different subjects. Seems to me that you've gone back to toys a little bit?! Followed your live stream here in Holland; it works! Keep up the great laughs and your nice voice!
Needs some weight in the wheels I believe. Best looking rock buggy I've seen so far. When I saw the first pic of it, it was hard to tell if it was a real 1:1 or a RC. Wow!
I'm following you from El Paso tx I'm the head mechanic in the biggest hobbyshop in the southwest and I love your videos and your impressive rc collections
The truck is awesome. Authentic. Rear wheel steering would be nice too (for authenticity, and function too). You have found a perfect spot for this truck :D
I feel you on the scratches lol. That's what I hate about new buggies. They are better when you have a few misshaps and stop caring so much, that's when the fun starts
Awesome video I'm anxious to see more about this vehicle and eventually the price of it as well. I'm also anxious to see what kind of modifications you do to it in the future. 😎🖒
enjoying the landscape enjoying how your telln us about this rig while out on trails i am sold on her waitn for release date before hammering down enjoying all your videos dont look to bad in calgary lol vancouvers warmer little bit of rain hit n miss cold we got our sweet spots too for sure Thanks Aaron for this ...😎
Congratulations medic, you are the first one in the world to scratch it. lol, keep up the great work man. Always fun to watch the godfather of the rc hobby in action.
Haha! I never even thought of that..(the scratching part) too funny :) Hey man, thanks for the compliment.. but I am but a pawn in the great hobby game. Glad to see it growing so nicely around the world
You are truly a trooper brother. Love the choice of location. Would love to head north one day, I can only say “Bucket List!” Would truly enjoy hanging out with you and the rest of the gang up there.
the cable steering is an amazing innovation. really all you would need is a wider bumper. it's going to get stuck anyways there so why not add the extra protection. the trade offs would be worth it in my eyes. such a cool rig
Ok Medic, Thanks for the Video with the first test ride from the Capo Ace👍👍, it's good to see that he's out of the box still has some minor problems with the performance. I think with a few small changes and other tires he will surely get better off the ground. Maybe it also helps to put a little weight into the rims to get more pressure on the ground. Many greetings from Torro´s RC Channel :))
Hi Medic, could the diff be locked? I guessed it can be tightened. The tires doesn't seem to grip well, looks a little stiff like the Gmade sawback tires. The steep climb over the rocks would be too much even for any other good crawler to overcome, so its a good attempt to really show what it could or not do. At 13:40, I see that it had difficulty with the loose sand. I am quite surprised, thought it's going to go over like a stroll. Could you do a comparison with an Axial SCX102 or Poison Spyder, using some good tires, so we know which is better. Really like the looks of it. Hope to see more videos on this rig for sure. Thanks lots!
awesome truck the hills and roots looked great got a few different trucks would like to try them there. like your show hope you keep on for a long time sir. that truck preformed great out of the box.
I've seen these woods many times now in your videos.... Where are these? Are they part of the ranch somewhere of are they at a local park? A friends place?
Do u think it's possible to shorten the steering cable so it's not so far out an exposed? Or maybe a sleeve? Also do u think it's best to build a crawler or buy something rtr or with minor assembly? Would be my first crawler. I had a gas axis buggy but meny years ago an never had anyone to ride with so after a lot of fun an meny repairs it got put on the shelf. Now years later thanx to RC SPARKS (The best rc video's ever) I had to get bak in. I'm into the boats hav a couple now love em but in the winter all I can is watch your video's an all the fun u hav with the crawlers an trucks. very jealous I want one so bad but works slow in the off season so funds are low lik real low what would you guys do?
Has alot of potential but those tires are holding it back. Well along with that slipper clutch. lol. Can't wait to see how it does with clutch tightened up
Seems like it would benefit from a rear steer option to get over some of those obstacles, I have an Exceed Mad Torque crawler with it wY'd into the steering, wish it was independent but for a budget crawler it's great... good video ✌😎👍
looks like reversing tread pattern/tire rotation would help on the grab/climb or no?.....by the way great work on your/wifes channel/tracks/courses.your passion is limitless.enjoy your tuff truck vid challenges and your trip rc hunting over seas alot......Canada looks beautiful.Keep the drive alive Rc adventures......!
Great job dude, I knew you couldn't resist the chance to put this buggy to the test. I want one, when are they available and how can I get one? Maybe try a different tire. may make all the different. Keep up the great videos.
Just keep making this rig look better and better eh medic haha ! even if that wire does break over time it looks extremely simple to fix/replace. so yes it may break but that shouldn't be a concern or a make or break kinda thing for this truck... all of our rigs break be it rough driving or wear and tear..
I got ocd when it comes to my things and I am just wondering why not put a plastic clear tape coating like a screen protector type material over the car so when you do scratch it you can replace the coating and keeping the car scratch free
I think it would have been smart of capo to put the steering cable above the linkages where it wouldn't have been in the way of hang ups. Not sure if that's a possibility but I imagine it could be done nonetheless absolutely awesome truck and can't wait for more content. Awesome filming today!
Hey guys! I am so blessed to have your support and love! Thank you for the INCREDIBLE response on the video!

I wanted to ensure you guys had a good test video.. so I took it through the paces.. and filmed it all. Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for commenting

jeremys39 just about under $1000.00
thanks for really running this thing, and showing us what we can expect from it.
not bad! could use softer tires on the rocks, I would love to see this setup in the mud!
I agree.. but I think the tires will get softer with use. Just like a good pair of sneakers ;) Don't think you will see mine in the mud just yet.. it is not waterproofed as yet, and I really like having a non-squeaky truck for once.. HAHA!

balzarini51 what is a good first off road vehicle that is cheap
Depends on budget and what you are into. I don't know the insides and outsides of all the cars
Could you recommend some good electronics to use. I would like to include a two-speed trans and lights
Ted Saunders watch rc adventures tuff truck challenge.his bomber, motor smoking was winning tug of wars and made it thru mud course with ease...

The truck is awesome. Authentic. Rear wheel steering would be nice too (for authenticity, and function too). You have found a perfect spot for this truck :D
Hi Jonny! Yeah man.. I wanted to give it a good flexing shot .. and some fun terrain! Glad you enjoyed the video
Your crawler is the coolest crawler I’ve ever seen

looks like an epic mountain bike trail
One of the best looking ever made
Nice crawling, lots of great rocks!
that's one slick looking truck. I want one just for its looks.
Cool lil buggy you got there, hro. Cool to see something like this out in the woods as well. Keep 'em going. ;)
I don't care love it man every truck has its own kinks until broken in and getting good with
awesome truck the hills and roots looked great got a few different trucks would like to try them there. like your show hope you keep on for a long time sir. that truck preformed great out of the box.
Hey Menic, sorry, I probably spelled that wrong but I was wondering if you are going to unbox the Axial Yeti anytime soon? Also love the videos.
Great first look at it. Looks like it could be a great rig. Love the beefy stance, keep up the great videos medic. 👍
This rig looks sick man!
Tulsa,Oklahoma loved the show really bad ass crawler still want one
I've seen these woods many times now in your videos.... Where are these? Are they part of the ranch somewhere of are they at a local park? A friends place?

Me too.. then we can power down again. It good to get this preliminary run out.. so we can move forward in the next trail run
Seems like it would benefit from a rear steer option to get over some of those obstacles, I have an Exceed Mad Torque crawler with it wY'd into the steering, wish it was independent but for a budget crawler it's great... good video ✌😎👍

CANT wait to purchase and customize for max performance!
wicked looking bouncer medic love watching your videos buddy, keep up the good work
Thanks bud.. I appreciate you continuing to comment, and show support :)
Enjoyed the video as always!
had to double comment while watching and enjoying still watching cheers
Just keep making this rig look better and better eh medic haha ! even if that wire does break over time it looks extremely simple to fix/replace. so yes it may break but that shouldn't be a concern or a make or break kinda thing for this truck... all of our rigs break be it rough driving or wear and tear..
Interested to see how someone would increase the amount the wheels can turn with that cable set up. What do you think medic?
this truck is amazing, truly amazing
That is an Awesome rig can't wait to get one next year keep up the good work 👍🙌💪🏅😉🏆👍
seems like the torque on the steering isn't affected as much as I thought it would be giving the cable set up. what tires are those medic?
I got ocd when it comes to my things and I am just wondering why not put a plastic clear tape coating like a screen protector type material over the car so when you do scratch it you can replace the coating and keeping the car scratch free
So even of you do break the steering cable, it looks like a simple braided cable right? Might be an easy replacement?
LOVE YOUR VIDEO AND VESSEL!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think it would have been smart of capo to put the steering cable above the linkages where it wouldn't have been in the way of hang ups. Not sure if that's a possibility but I imagine it could be done nonetheless absolutely awesome truck and can't wait for more content. Awesome filming today!
It looks like larger softer tires might help. Cool rig Aaron
