However it is clearly taking the idea of “hit on the 5th note,” with the lengths between each note in a sequence being the same but making the sequences faster or slower

Like Super Mario 99 was my JAM when the servers were still up, and though I like f-zero 99 quite a lot too, the mario version was far better to me.. because i like that it relies on how well YOU play rather than how well your competition can jeopardize you, there needs to be more like this!

Some of these definitely feel like competitive Rhythm Heaven Fever games, and Dan did surprisingly well overall. Trial by fire really paid off.
