I like how the minions have poisoned so much of what we love that we all now essentially have a minion vibe detector burned into our collective consciousness from now on to prevent history from ever repeating again.

@@ethanotoroculus1060 The worst thing is any method anybody could come up with wouldn’t work, they’d just come back from certain death in a comedic way. Those yellow vermin just won’t die.
Some of these definitely feel like competitive Rhythm Heaven Fever games, and Dan did surprisingly well overall. Trial by fire really paid off.
Seeing the Rhythm Doctor earlier in the year has helped

Dan has evolved from embarrassing himself in front of his audience with his rhythm skills to embarrassing himself in front of his audience and also 29 complete strangers with his rhythm skills. Truly amazing character development.
Watching Daniel play rhythm games is like watching someone with no hands try to give a high five. We appreciate the effort and thought but we can only feel sadness and pity while watching

OK, we've done a rhythm game battle royale. Now it's time for Tetris 99. Considering how calm and collected Dan was playing Tetris Effect, a Tetris battle royale is sure not to stress him out of his mind in any way whatsoever.

I like how any time there's a microgame that resembles a rhythm heaven minigame, dan starts to choke immediately.
Battle Royales have truly broken from the confinement of their original genre. No other genre is safe anymore.
I feel like that happened as soon as tetris 99 did.

When Battle Royale started getting big, i would never have imagined the pinnacle of the genre would be pidgeons playing The Internationale on an 8 bit version of the game inside the game

Nah, for real, the only thing that would make the foosball game more like Built to Scale DS is if the soccer ball stopped on every note.
@@jorgemtzb9359 it doesn’t own any scale, especially not the chromatic scale since neither of them play, they play on a major scale. However it is clearly taking the idea of “hit on the 5th note,” with the lengths between each note in a sequence being the same but making the sequences faster or slower

dude i love this elimination kind of game so much more than traditional battle royale games. Like Super Mario 99 was my JAM when the servers were still up, and though I like f-zero 99 quite a lot too, the mario version was far better to me.. because i like that it relies on how well YOU play rather than how well your competition can jeopardize you, there needs to be more like this!
