Holy Moly, Danielle is going to FREAK OUT when she she’s the new property. I gotsta get me one of them!!!! We have 50 acres with about 20 in pasture. Bought a mini excavator and a skid steer along with our tractor to work our land. But that “forester” attachment? is amazing!!!

Glad you got Outlaw involved using the forestry mulcher! It saves time and your tractor. Always use the right tool for the right job!
Now that you have started clearing and getting rid of the under canopy and brush your larger trees may fill out their canopy and provide more privacy. All those trees and shrubs compete for moisture and soil nutrients.
The mulch is going to lower the pH of your soil. Left on the ground it will help control weeds for a few years until it becomes soil. If you remove the over abundant mulch in areas you’re wanting grass and hay for livestock to grow is important. Grasses grow best in a more neutral pH. Creating mulch piles will give you reserves for whatever purposes you choose. Those you leave untouched will become mulch/soil that you can use in planting areas in years to come.

It’s not too much because you have to have a lot of cleared land to feed your animals saving just some of the bigger trees you can always plant a few others that you want when you’re there after you figure out your buildings

All the concerns some have expressed about "taking down too much" are resolved seeing all the tree cover and potential pasture areas in the back section. It looks so good.

If you are going to have all that mulch, you should do those container gardens, makes a great base. They look great, are safer from ground animals and easier on the back. Looking great!!!
