Hello, great reaction, great performance in Poland by the Swedish band Sabaton speaking both Swedish and English, they are singing in English, greetings from Poland
I love your reactions guys and the best part is seeing your facial expressions. But even though I myself have heard this song around 6327 times and know the lyrics by heart, I don´t get that you don´t even recognize they are in english. Ok the subs might have thrown you off, but I hear it so crisp and clear. And you should listen to Ghost Division from this same concert. Only Sabaton can go to Poland infront of 550 000+ people and sing about Rommels panzerdivision and the crowd goes crazy. Keep up the great work you are doing, Love you guys. All the best from Sweden.
Warsaw uprising took place in 1944 against Nazi occupants. Russian army just watched the slaughter of the Polish people and resistance fighters on the other side of the river doing nothing. No help was given, and even the western Allied forces help through airdrops was hindered, which made it very difficult = no assistance from Russians. Stalin saw the Warsaw city defenders and Polish resistance fighters as enemy of Russia. So Germans did the work Stalin would have done himself latest after occupation of Poland anyway.
Our government seems to stick their nose into the world's business. I'm surprised and a little disappointed that we haven't helped the Ukraine people. But we are kept from the full story. I pray for them.
i agree, also the Soviets cross the volga river was broadcasting to the Poles and telling them fight the germans and the soviet would come and help but the soviets never came to help and the soviets watch the firefight in city of Warsaw and the soviets would shoot down the care packages that was meant for Polish.
The story is that the Russians were closing in on Warsaw and the Polish people rose up to fight the Germans. The Russians stopped their advance and allowed the Germans to crush the Polish resistance so they didn't have to do it after the war.
