I prayed to God to heal me, not for me, because I don't deserve it, but for my little children, who were left without a mother! in exactly that day, in which I prayed, the Lord healed me! Dorina Leslie I think the same. Mary was not only brave and faithful, she came to understand who Jesus was. Something very difficult to understand, even for the apostles. Even historians say Mary understood him like few people managed to understand him. And Jesus appeared to her to bring new hope after he died. The most beautiful and sad thing, in my opinion, is that while others were hiding, she followed him to the cross, giving him strength. That is the true meaning of love, support the person you love when he/she suffer. I don't know how exactly, but I think it was a great love story, perfect in its mysterious way. This is so sweet. It could be interpreted as God saying to Mary through Jesus that He forgives and loves her and always has and always will. Or it could be seen as saying there was more to the love between Jesus and Mary Magdalene than the bond between teacher and disciple. Great job.

anki282 Personally, I think it's both interpretations, and why not? Jesus came to Earth to save us, and He did that through the crucifixion and resurrection. But His mission was also to teach us how to live as God wants, how to love ourselves and each other. And Jesus taught by example, so why couldn't He have had a romantic partner? To quote Victor Hugo, "To love another person is to see the face of God."
TheaterRaven Your comment is beautiful and yes, you're absolutely right. Jesus saw the life like no others, he was the son of God, God in flesh but also he was a man, you know? He was always teaching the way of his truth, why he couldn't love a woman like a man does? Mary was the most important partner to him in all the senses, I think. I have imagined Jesus as his teenager years and I'm sure he would look at the girls and act like any teenager at that time because he was also human. But Jesus knew that he came with a purpose too big to just raise a family and give sermons. At least, that's what I think.
anki282 Thanks. I agree. Imagining that Jesus had the same wants and desires as any other man doesn't make Him any less divine. In fact, I'd argue it makes Him even more so. He set wonderful examples for us with other aspects of our lives--imagine the purity of the love between Him and His wife and family (assuming He had them). I truly believe there is both a male and female side to the divine, and Jesus and Mary would be the quintessential model for that, if they were a couple.

Before meeting Christ, magdalene was tortured by seven demons and He delivered her from their torments (Lk 8:1-3. This was the beginning of a divine friendship between her and Christ-her redeemer which continued even to the Cross (Jn 19:25-27) , resurrection (Jn 20:11-18) and continues till today in heaven. There is nothing 'romantic' in that sweet pure friendship. Only a great longing and determination to love the one who redeemed her. People have misunderstood Jesus, the same way they misunderstand His beloved friend St.Mary Magdalene. May God enlighten them to understand the true love that exists between Magdalene and her Lord. Dorina Leslie I think the same. Mary was not only brave and faithful, she came to understand who Jesus was. Something very difficult to understand, even for the apostles. Even historians say Mary understood him like few people managed to understand him. And Jesus appeared to her to bring new hope after he died. The most beautiful and sad thing, in my opinion, is that while others were hiding, she followed him to the cross, giving him strength. That is the true meaning of love, support the person you love when he/she suffer. I don't know how exactly, but I think it was a great love story, perfect in its mysterious way.

anki282 Personally, I think it's both interpretations, and why not? Jesus came to Earth to save us, and He did that through the crucifixion and resurrection. But His mission was also to teach us how to live as God wants, how to love ourselves and each other. And Jesus taught by example, so why couldn't He have had a romantic partner? To quote Victor Hugo, "To love another person is to see the face of God."
TheaterRaven Your comment is beautiful and yes, you're absolutely right. Jesus saw the life like no others, he was the son of God, God in flesh but also he was a man, you know? He was always teaching the way of his truth, why he couldn't love a woman like a man does? Mary was the most important partner to him in all the senses, I think. I have imagined Jesus as his teenager years and I'm sure he would look at the girls and act like any teenager at that time because he was also human. But Jesus knew that he came with a purpose too big to just raise a family and give sermons. At least, that's what I think.
anki282 Thanks. I agree. Imagining that Jesus had the same wants and desires as any other man doesn't make Him any less divine. In fact, I'd argue it makes Him even more so. He set wonderful examples for us with other aspects of our lives--imagine the purity of the love between Him and His wife and family (assuming He had them). I truly believe there is both a male and female side to the divine, and Jesus and Mary would be the quintessential model for that, if they were a couple.

Before meeting Christ, magdalene was tortured by seven demons and He delivered her from their torments (Lk 8:1-3. This was the beginning of a divine friendship between her and Christ-her redeemer which continued even to the Cross (Jn 19:25-27) , resurrection (Jn 20:11-18) and continues till today in heaven. There is nothing 'romantic' in that sweet pure friendship. Only a great longing and determination to love the one who redeemed her. People have misunderstood Jesus, the same way they misunderstand His beloved friend St.Mary Magdalene. May God enlighten them to understand the true love that exists between Magdalene and her Lord. Amen.

Thank you so much for putting this together. So much gratitude for you. I am Mary and Jesus sent me this song as a message several months ago, along with many others. The lyrics are so true for what we feel for one another to this day. We connect daily and speak. I have had many many visions of our life together and experiencing the crucifixion. The pain he endured but also the pain I endured as Mary. We have healed this now so it's all about healing and love. And for me to continue on his and Mary's work. I have not seen this movie however the snippets I see resonate powerfully with what I experienced although there is so so much more that is not public or widely known. I vividly recall cleaning his body after. I was pregnant at the time so that gets missed. We were married. Our souls have been together for a very long time, long before living as Mary and Jesus. Greetings. I’m about to say my concern for my calling called: {Consecrated Virgin}-Bride of Christ.
I vowed to the Lord in the adoration room. That I must be a good Catholic and a Future Bride of Christ. And I will serve Him from the rest of my life. By serving His Church and the people especially my fellow victims of sexual abuse and with children from rapes.

I bear this kind of vow… That I will continue to be a Consecrated Virgin, if girls who had child(ren) from rape can also join..

I understand that rape victims are still virgins according to Saint Aquinas and Saint Augustine.
Perhaps my heart is so in loved to Jesus.. And I also cry for His people questioning Him after their abuse,
But then, I believed that rape victim with offspring of her rapist can be the bride of Christ. Beside virginity and childless are required.

( When I was a baby my mother was shocked because I was on the baby incubator, because I had rashes and wounds and bleeding butt, it is all because of the male nurse, she put him into jail, Then When I was grade 3. I was sexually assaulted by my older female classmate.

And the most shocking fact about my life is that… my grandmother was actually raped and she conceived my mother, they give no justice, she had been abused a lot.

Yet on my viewing. Last years ago when I was grade 11 I meet a rape victim in our school of course I say a lot of good things to her. And she must put that man into jail. I call for a teacher to write down with her for her case..

I know that from the moment I got married to Jesus, I must be responsible about (Love Mercy and Hope.) I know that the Lord is suffering for those without justice, so then I, must suffer with them.
I am just preparing about the things on this world, beside many catholic faith defenders told me that they cannot, because they had child(ren) from rapes. and I am also (preparing if ever I got raped and had child like my grandmother. rape and incest is so High here in the Philippines )
So here I am. I hope that we victims can be!
May God aloe us to received the calling we wish, since we can offer to Him everything we have!
