Jesus Christ healed me! This is my story about my healing! I was extremely ill !! I had diabetes and kidney failure, which urgently requires dialysis! I prayed to God to heal me, not for me, because I don't deserve it, but for my little children, who were left without a mother! in exactly that day, in which I prayed, the Lord healed me! I suddenly felt the pain in my kidneys go away, as well as the dryness in my mouth (diabetes). I'm a new women now! I thank the Lord for His mercy and love for us!

Mary Magdalene was from Magdala. This Mary is Mary of Bethany, the sister of Lazarus most likely. Mary Magdalene got mixed up with many other women - that's why she got a bad reputation as being a prostitute when she wasn't. She was a follower of Christ from early on, a supporter of His ministry and she was there right up until He died and was the first to witness Him resurrected. Mary was a very common name then, so it was easy for other Marys to get confused with Mary of Magdalene. This woman was NOT Mary of Magdalene though.

The particular 'specific' one I went to - the Priests did not understand nor preach Salvation, nor God as being relational. @Catholic Verity You're certainly entitled to your beliefs and faith, but I don't feel any draw whatsoever towards Catholicism. As you proved by your post, the religion often seems to view outsiders as little more than potential points to win on a scoreboard rather than as individual souls to genuinely care about. If you want to actually engage in interfaith conversations, simply telling someone they're wrong and then demanding they change their religion on the spot isn't exactly going to do it.
@@Cliff_Simon While we may never know for certain, there's more historical context to suggest that Jesus would have been married, if not to Mary Magdalene, then to somebody. A young Jewish man being unmarried at that time would've raised more eyebrows and, if I recall correctly, one couldn't become a rabbi if he was single. Honestly, I don't understand the Christianity that seeks to strip Jesus of any semblance of humanity. At best, it suggests that the almighty Creator couldn't multi-task while on Earth. At worst, it reveals that the Creator thinks very little of us indeed if the daily lives and relationships of humanity are apparently so dirty and evil he couldn't stand to experience them while incarnating as one of us. And personally, I think Jesus showing all the displays of divinity attributed to him while also living a fully human life was the entire point; it was the Creator showing that, when we're truly connected to ourselves, our loved ones and community, and that which is greater than us all, there is no separation between Creator and Creation. Mary Magdalene was from Magdala. This Mary is Mary of Bethany, the sister of Lazarus most likely. Mary Magdalene got mixed up with many other women - that's why she got a bad reputation as being a prostitute when she wasn't. She was a follower of Christ from early on, a supporter of His ministry and she was there right up until He died and was the first to witness Him resurrected. Mary was a very common name then, so it was easy for other Marys to get confused with Mary of Magdalene. This woman was NOT Mary of Magdalene though.

What do you mean by that? I actually grew up raised in the Roman Catholic Church. The particular 'specific' one I went to - the Priests did not understand nor preach Salvation, nor God as being relational. @Catholic Verity You're certainly entitled to your beliefs and faith, but I don't feel any draw whatsoever towards Catholicism. As you proved by your post, the religion often seems to view outsiders as little more than potential points to win on a scoreboard rather than as individual souls to genuinely care about. If you want to actually engage in interfaith conversations, simply telling someone they're wrong and then demanding they change their religion on the spot isn't exactly going to do it.
@@Cliff_Simon While we may never know for certain, there's more historical context to suggest that Jesus would have been married, if not to Mary Magdalene, then to somebody. A young Jewish man being unmarried at that time would've raised more eyebrows and, if I recall correctly, one couldn't become a rabbi if he was single.
Honestly, I don't understand the Christianity that seeks to strip Jesus of any semblance of humanity. At best, it suggests that the almighty Creator couldn't multi-task while on Earth. At worst, it reveals that the Creator thinks very little of us indeed if the daily lives and relationships of humanity are apparently so dirty and evil he couldn't stand to experience them while incarnating as one of us. And personally, I think Jesus showing all the displays of divinity attributed to him while also living a fully human life was the entire point; it was the Creator showing that, when we're truly connected to ourselves, our loved ones and community, and that which is greater than us all, there is no separation between Creator and Creation. Those are my thoughts, and you're free to think what you will.
