He was not able to stay under that tree that he grew, he was very poor and he thought it was a waste of his money. He could do anything and yet he had no need for his own care or his own needs. As long as we can keep it as they do, we won't give them up. Our garden is full. But if it rains after the planting season and clouds keeps in place, there may be other growers able to come in too.
      It's your turn. I'll take a look. The garden is full and you'll give up some fruit. Good luck, I hope you'll have it and your food. A few of the birds will fly off. A few of the fishes will pass by the house and swim and come back to life after death. How it all ends? Don't worry about any more problems. When time is short, we're going to meet again. Then I'll want to talk. We may go to the zoo to teach the birds. We could even get the kids into the museum to look around.

    There's an easy way to tell the difference between the two types of trials:
    Condensation trails will eventually sublimate, usually visible by the time the plane leaves the area.
    Chemical trials will thin out and spread across the sky like a sheet, existing for hours longer then evaporation ordinarily permits. They are also sometimes found crisscrossing one another on a pattern that is much tighter then what is seen in normal commercial flight paths.

A few years ago in the UCLA plasma lab, we fairly conclusively demonstrated that absolutely NO particles or nucleation was required to cause precipitation. We did this by creating in a large plasma chamber, clouds out of extremely highly distilled water, charged to a very high DC voltage. When the cloud was discharged, lo and behold, it rained inside the plasma chamber. It is electrical charge ALONE that holds clouds in suspension. I'd love to talk to you more about this. Water vapour is a greenhouse gas. One of the most potent greenhouse gases, in fact. Thanks to things like methane breaking down into water vapour and CO2, the amount of water vapour in the atmosphere has increased as our demand for meat increases. Fossil fuel burning contributes too, since CO2 increases the temperature, temperatures rising leads to more evaporation, which leads to more water vapour in the air. It's not necessarily a bad thing to remove water vapour from our atmosphere by cloud seeding, as long as we know what the knock-on effects will be to neighbouring countries, as stated in the video.

    • @ThatEEguy2818
      @ThatEEguy2818 3 года назад

      Water vapor tempers the climate. It reflects heat into space. Otherwise this would have been an inferno long ago. In other words, water vapor produces negative feedback.

    • @jbaggaz
      @jbaggaz 3 года назад

      @@ThatEEguy2818 you're mixing up water vapour with clouds. It's true that clouds can temper the climate, but water vapour insulates more heat being radiated back towards space from the Earth's surface. More water vapour can lead to more cloud coverage, but they're not one and the same. Water vapour leads to a much bigger warming effect than clouds can lead to a cooling effect.

    • @ThatEEguy2818
      @ThatEEguy2818 3 года назад

      @@jbaggaz that means water vapor is a positive feedback mechanism. Not buying that. Look up what positive feedback does. It would cause a runaway effect and, in control systems is called a hard over condition. The vapor itself acts as an insulator, tempering climate. Reference the difference between florida and the Arizona desert. However the net effect of much humidity is more clouds and therefore less heat reaching the earth. The copious amounts of water on this planet insure stability like a thermostat.

    • @jbaggaz
      @jbaggaz 3 года назад

      @@ThatEEguy2818 look, I'm literally quoting Climate scientists to you, the more nuance you add to this conversation, the more research I have to do to correct you. But I know a few things: that there is a limit to how much water vapour the air can hold, therefore you can't have a runaway feedback loop. Think of it like the feedback loop from a microphone next to an amp. When the amp hits the loudest decibel it can, it won't just keep getting louder forever. But having the screeching sound or the air being far more full of water vapour than it ever has been in recorded history (we literally know it is), is not something you want. If we can create clouds from that water vapour, it would reflect some radiation back into space, you're right about that. But more water vapour in the air will 100%, absolutely, guaranteed raise the temperatures across Earth. You literally just need to spend five seconds Googling to know this.

    16:20 - I think we should consider a mega-structure at the Earth/Sun L1 Lagrange point. It would basically be a "shutter" we could adjust, to block some chosen amount of solar radiation. L1 is an unstable equilibrium point, so station-keeping would be required, but it *is* an equilibrium point. This seems like a wonderful opportunity for first world international cooperation to me. If we made it work, we'd have a "planetary thermostat" we could adjust as we see fit. Also, it wouldn't be "weaponizable" in the same way regional methods executed here on the planet would. I don't think we could build a sufficiently large, sufficiently fine-tunable shutter to manipulate regional sunlight - we'd only be adjust the total, so everyone here at home would experience the same consequences.

  • @dangingerich2559
    @dangingerich2559 3 года назад +7

    We do have one other method of weather "control", albeit haphazard, unintentional, and difficult to control. Our large scale environmental energy gathering methods (solar and wind farms, hydroelectric generators with reservoirs) for generating electricity do have effects on the weather. Large reservoirs have long been know to contribute to local humidity, and this in turn contributes to rain downwind. The solar concentrator generators that use molten salt raise local temperatures, causing cloud to evaporate back into water vapor and keep rain from falling on certain areas. Also, wind farms have been shown to slow the air currents over them as effectively as hills three times their height, causing rain to fall sooner. In fact, there is a valley in California where a wind farm was put on one end, and it quit raining entirely at the other end of the valley for the next 6 years. So, yeah, we do, kind of, have some control over the weather.
