If he would have bailed on the Bulls early on he would have signed with an already fairly loaded team, won a couple, then struggled just like LeBron and blamed everyone else just like LeBron did until he barely won 1 with another team, and then 1 last one with another team.
LeBron did not understand what it actually took to build a dynasty team around a player of his talent-patience, accepting a lower salary, and getting elite players that can rotate him off the court to rest. He never understood, and still doesn't understand that you need a strong bench to get you to the title every single year.
He always let his core 3 guys leave just before they were about to become an unstoppable dynasty. He should absolutely have 8 rings right now-that's why he will never be considered the greatest, or even in the top 5-it's not about total lifetime points and how long you played, it's about how you elevated your team, not just yourself, and won championships over and over with the same teammates.
