My first reaction to the thumbnail picture of your chisel and mallet rack was, That's Nice! That is a beautiful holder for your chisels and mallet.

I dig having the mallet in the rack. I’m always misplacing my mallet.

I really like the new intro, Brian, and the chisel rack looks great too. Those Two Cherries chisels new?

Not to be critical, why is the mallet holder separate from the chisel holders? Great video, I'm just starting out and want to know why this, why that.

I wasn't sure exactly which way I was going to design the mallet holder in order to accommodate it. I saved it for the end of the build to work out.

Nice quick build that serves a great purpose! How do you like the Two Cherries chisels?

Thanks Guy. I love them so far. The handle feels really comfortable to hold and they seem to hold an edge pretty well. The steel is harder than my old chisels, but I was able to add a micro bevel with little effort (waterstone).

would it not be dangerous when you are picking your mallet, that your hand gets hit by a chisel closest to the mallet especially if you put one in the closest hole to the mallet.

I have been using this for almost 6 years with no incident. “Danger” needs to be considered with potential magnitude and probability. The probability of danger and magnitude are low in my opinion.

What was the name of the marker you used in the dowel holes to marker where you need to drill. I didn’t see on your amazon site.

I forgot to mention that they are called "dowel centers" :)
