Seeing a bunch of people in the comments wondering what the connection is between Skitter and Ladybug, so as the guy who commissioned this track, I should probably explain. There's actually a surprising amount in common between them - they're both bug-themed superhumans who specialize in taking down much stronger opponents through clever tactics, they're both great at battlefield planning but hopelessly awkward in social situations, they both have a history of being bullied in school, they both have a snarky blonde best friend who comes from a rich family (and who they frequently get shipped with), and if you really want to stretch the comparison, both of their arch-enemies are trying to bring back their dead wives through a plan involving handing out superpowers to emotionally unstable people. As for the matchup itself, I feel like it could easily go either way. Ladybug definitely has the higher stats on paper, but with Skitter's superior range, it's entirely possible she could stall out the post-Lucky Charm timer and swarm Marinette as soon as she runs out of energy.
I haven't watched the serie in a while (I think fell off at the start of season 3?), but I don't think Ladybug has anything that would allow her to win this? Sure, she has the higher physical stats, but Skitter has taken down parahumans with even higher physical stats. Ladybug has also beaten stronger opponents but... she had the advantage that all of her adversaries have a built-in weakspot: the item that is possessed by the akuma. Break that and the enemy goes back to being a normal human. To beat Skitter she'd have to *actually* beat her unconscious/kill her. Meanwhile, she doesn't really have any defenses against being bitten/stung by a swarm of insects?
@@swordcrab3181 True, but Skitter’s still got baseline-human physical stats, even if her suit offers her some measure of protection, and with how fast Ladybug’s yoyo has been shown to move sometimes, even one solid hit from it would deal some serious damage to her. Plus Ladybug has some experience fighting insect controllers (Queen Wasp, Miracle Queen), and her Lucky Charm could easily allow her to throw a wrench into Skitter’s plans.
@@warionumberone6463 Ladybug could do damage, but she has to land her hits for that. It's very hard to take Skitter by surprise with her swarmsense, she doesn't need line of sight so she can actually hide while still fighting, and even if there is no cover she can amass a swarm dense enough to obscure her position. Skitter doesn't fight like most insect controllers. Also, like, a bit of a boring answer but... Skitter has a gun. And she will use it if she needs to.
@@warionumberone6463 Don't forget, Skitter can also use her swarm-clones for misdirection at first. Get a sense of her opposition's capabilities while staying entirely hidden and out of harm's way before planning out a response.
Agreed, the more I thought of this matchup the more I realized how good it is thematically and as an actual fight. I think it all depends on if Ladybug can find a way to shut down Skitter’s swarm, as she’s strong enough to likely one shot but tends not to fight that way
Y'know, with "heroes are not so noble" genre popularity spiked up with The Boys & Invincible, i'm suprised no one wants to take a chance to make a adaptation for Worm.
I think worm and Taylor specifically might still be a little too much even for people who liked invincible Shooting toddlers for the greater good is not really a popular thing and it would absolutely have to be cut for example, same with a lot of other parts of the story
There's something immensely satisfying about imagining Ladybug desperately trying to escape from an apocalyptic swarm of bugs of a size and ferocity only foretold in the Bible.
To me Marinette is the lesser of the two evils, so I would help her if meant geting rid of Taylor. Translation: The Heroic MarySue if the lesser evil compared to Villainous MarySue.
I gotta sat I'm a big fan of the insect buzzing. Since Skitter is a character from a book, it's literally impossible to draw an actual musical inspiration from the source. But I think the use of buzzing really works as her thematic instrument for this theme. Just kinda obvious choice yet fully natural and dire as it needs to be.
Luck vs Escalation this time around. Even though Worm obviously doesn't have an official soundtrack being a web serial and all, this track fits quite well.

I'm sorry but I just can't see a matchup like this ending any other way than with a dead french girl. I'm not discounting Ladybug I'm crediting Taylor with having a murderous alien voice screaming in her head "KILL ,KILL, KILL" and Ladybug isn't a killer, this would put her on the back foot with how brutal Taylor fights leading to a fatal error that Taylor would ruthlessly exploit.
Yeah I agree, in a Death Battle between Skitter vs Ladybug, Taylor has the necessary tools, skills and will to murder Marinette, Plus Taylor *DID* killed a Stronger Superhero in *Warring Spoilers* Alexandria so it’s fully possible for Skitter to Drown Ladybug in bugs or just shoot her in the face since Skitter has a *Gun!*
Excepting that every time Skitter actually ‘loses,’ it was against people who would much benefit from going for her throat instead of holding back as they do. Which is a bit odd, but thematically fitting.
A really funny aspect of the Marinette x Taylor matchup is that Marinette would probably win by all reasonable metrics at first, only for Taylor to almost mcfucking murder her anyway

Her regular power is literally summoning a object which will solve her current problem, but with other Miraculouses she has access to: cloning, paralyzing foes, creating forcefields, illusions, talk-no-jutsu style guilt tripping, two different kinds of time travel, teleportation, three different elemental abilities, the ability to disrupt/cancel other powers, and various weapons depending on what she's using. So far anyway, not all Miraculous powers have been revealed yet

Ohh~ I wanna say that maybe Taylor wins by virtue of being brutal. She stuck bugs up the wards nose ears and eyes at the bank, she can probably fight dirtier than Mari. Buuut, if Mar gets the lucky charm off and gets a good enough bug suit or something I see her winning, having super streng and a yo-yo that can hit from pretty far.

Even if it’s in the universal opinion I say skitter wins hands-down, because if we take all the equipment she’s used to over her years of fighting, and her abilities she has Marinette our class in nearly every way from mobility to combat capability to adaptability, the literal only way I can see Marinette winning in anyway is getting a getting rail gun from her lucky charm, and even then I see a high possibility of skitter just stealing whatever in the world her lucky charm is and when using that to kill her. And if we bring her end of series powers into this then she basically instantly win for second Marinette enters a 5 m radius, because after that she can just make her basically strangle her self since Marinette does not have any anti-mind control powers.

@@Keith_Norman there's plenty of art of her thankfully. Can definitely use that to help get a good idea. We don't have 2d or 3d assets of The Samurai and Afro and we got something for there. Yes we still know what they look like but again, art for Skitter has helped give some level of visuals

Pretty sure Skitter wins. Unlike Marinette, or the majority of her villains, Skitter lives in a world where fights to the death are relatively common, and death is actually far from the worst outcome. She has that killer instinct that Ladybug lacks as a result. It also doesn't hurt that Ladybug"s Lucky Charm is unlikely to be able to deal with the number of contingencies Skitter likely would use. For that matter, it uses magic to give Ladybug a way to solve a problem in an unorthodox manner... something which Taylor does in nearly every fight she gets in without any magic to speak of. It's true, in a straight fight, Ladybug has Skitter beat with her powers, but the same is true of almost every enemy Skitter beats in her time, from the first through to the last.
Didn't Taylor have bugs eat Lung's (you know, endbringer fighting dragon man) balls off alongside his eyes? Wait. Taylor drowned Alexandria in bugs. Worm's version of invincible flying person. If Taylor's bugs are capable of killing people stronger than marinnete, she has a viable way of killing Ladybug before she can fight back. If she's given significant distance to work with anyway. Up close Taylor's gonna get bodied.

Sure, she could likely not win such a fight against Ladybug, but she has trained to fight enemies who are stronger and faster.
Despite the thematic differences, my personal favorite fight from these series would be Ladybug vs Number Man due to how similar their powers and fighting styles are. That said, I love the variety of nods to different fan themes incorporated here.

Skitter has complete individual control over everything loosely considered an insect within 3-4 city blocks each block being around 300 feet. At first glance that might not be all that impressive until You start truly thinking about what that means... She has complete individual control, as in she is making decisions for every insect individually without without affecting her own thought processes at all aka unlimited multitasking, using the bugs senses to gather information with their hearing and her innate understanding of where any one of her bug is at any given time. That is brief description of her power if you want the at length one (the fucking essay that it is) Go for Taylor Hebert Worm Fandom Wiki. Now that I've described what her power is I am going to go into some spoiler territory to explain what she has done with it... The first thing that comes to mind is the Alexandria Special...Alexandria is Worm's Superman stand in, with super strength, invulnerability, and flight, Other Superman like capes are actually called Alexandria Capes. Now along with her stereotypical superman powers she also had eidetic memory and extreme cold reading (gaining information from things like body language). This is important because Skitter killed her... Skitter filled her throat and lungs with insects to the point that she suffocated to death... Skitter can create vague replicas of a human shape with her bugs and then use their natural sounds to replicate human speech and if she covers herself in bugs it becomes nearly impossible to tell her apart from her clones... She has fought the Slaughter House 9 who are a group of insane killers going around creating their "art" aka extremely creative ways to kill and torture. Their group include a man who can cut you from a distance and always knows what you are going to do before you do, 2 unkillable monsters, and a girl that can end all life on Earth in a week and that is being generous with the Earths chances... Taylor maybe a hero at heart but she regularly pushes her emotions into her bugs to avoid feeling them making her appear and act extremely ruthlessly and pragmatically, and the very nature of Powers in Worm is driving her to escalate, fight and kill... I am incredibly sorry and while I can't claim to know much about Lady Bug from my brief look into her from this comment section and a extremely quick wiki search I just cannot see her beating Taylor before she has killed her... Also note that this has all been me talking about Skitter/Weaver... Khepri is a completely different beast... With the Apocalypse underway Taylor approaches parahumans with incredible control over biology and understanding of how powers work and change her power... She could no longer takeover targets that were farther away then 5 meters but once she did take over it is my understanding that her range was infinite... and she could take over other parahumans... imagine that same control she has over insects, where every insect is more like an extension of her body then a separate being under her control, and apply it to every human being that walks within 5 meters of her... This did cause her and the Eldrich being powering her power to begin melding making her very quickly loose her sanity... but it also allowed her to stand her ground and ultimately triumph over the creature threatening every conceivable instance of earth in the multiverse... Even if the victory actually came trough psychological warfare rather then overpowering the enemy...

Ladybug (Base) vs Skitter Skitter was able do bind Crawler, a creature that outmatches Ladybug physically in every sense, using spiders and their silk. As long as Skitter remains out of sight and has Ladybug within her range, she should be able to bind the enemy and wait until the miraculous needs to recharge. Forcing Ladybug to choke on bugs is also an option. The only way I see for Ladybug to come out ahead is if the fight starts at close quarters and Skitter does not manage to disengage. Ladybug (with power ups and other miraculous) vs Skitter Dragon miraculous lets her turn into air to escape any binds. Bunny one grants time travel hax. Cosmo transformation makes her FTL. Skitter gets wrecked.

Best time traveler in Worm is Phir Se and he could only go minutes back per portal. Leader of the Adepts from NY was apparently a time traveler also, but the particulars about him were never shown.
So many people are bringing up Skitter's endgame power where she controls immense numbers of people. Yeah if we measure with her at that point of time, she easily wins. Same if we allow Ladybug to just time travel to before Skitter got powers and kill her. At full strength, the winner is probably the one who goes first. I think a far more interesting discussion is Ladybug and Skitter at a earlier point of their stories, where they didn't have access to much other than themselves. If Skitter doesn't have to directly fight Ladybug, I think Ladybug would run out of time before she manages a complete win with luck powers. The best case scenario for Ladybug would probably be Skitter being forced to directly fight, and even then Skitter has decent odds of winning.
Don't know much about miraculous, but skitter wins she's a character who always plays for keeps especially toward the end and has no qualms about going full throttle from the beginning. If we include khepri, it's not a fight
Well as someone who just read worm here’s their advantages Ladybug + yo-yo is very versatile in attacks +More range then skitter +clever at tactics -Relies on luck too much -fights with friends not by herself so she may be on the thin ice Skitter +More weapons more options +Can control bugs which potentially may catch ladybug off +More direct combat experience + Better at working alone then ladybug -isn’t as fast or quick thinking as her Winner-Skitter overall she has better advantages then ladybug skitter has dealt with worse and is a much more vicious person then ladybug when fighting and skitter took on parahumans I don’t think theirs any villain from miraculous ladybug who was on the level of a worm villain so I think skitter will win If this fight does happen which I hope it does novel characters deserve some attention on death battle
I feel like this follows All Might vs Might Guy and Iron Fist vs Pho. Both characters ( I assume as I’m unfamiliar with both respective series) are good people and would complement and praise each other while trying to kill one another. As for the track its great. The use of lower, more mellow beats over more frantic higher ones is a great contrast to other tracks made in this volume.

Taylor hebert is the main character of the webserial Worm She has the power of controlling bugs in a 2 block range(at the beginning) The story revolves about morality, what makes a hero and Taylor coming into herself and realizing just how ruthless and un-heroic she really is.

I really don't like the Miraculous commissions because of who they get matched up against, but I swear the tracks for them slap. I really think the best matchup with Miraculous characters in it is Ladybug and Cat Noir VS. Cloak and Dagger. But I'll ask Rooster Teeth themselves to do that Death Battle and the music once this season is over.

I just found worm 3 weeks ago as research over to avoid copyright confrontation and any other infringement to my series Burrow. Now I actually can’t stop looking into worm in every way I just want to read more and watch more animations. I find Worm fascinating enough but not enough to say it inspires anything to my own series Burrow on Wordress. How hasn’t Worm had an adaptation yet everything is getting adapted no matter if it’s for nostalgia, darkness, or money. I seen darker stuff and and movies that took a long time to make. Avatar two 9 years to make. Actual interview cases such as Aileen Waternoose or something like that I’ve seen Dahmer and if we’re talking depressing disturbing content that is a worldwide thing and personal thing. I saw footage of worse stuff than Taylor shooting a child. Why can’t Worm get adapted into a movie or show!
Interesting choice to read work to avoid copyright, when I feel like you wouldn’t really need to worry about that if you never read work to begin with since the ideas aren’t really stolen if you never read what people think you’re copying. I might try your story out though, I’ll save it to my read later list. I think a film/tv adaptation of worm would be really challenging, practically every character wears a mask and Taylor is a very silent protagonist, most of the story is told through her perspective which I feel would be hard to translate into a non-book format.
Short version: Wildbow doesn't like Worm anymore. He didn't like the way he wrote it at the time, but editing it takes too long. Plus the fandom disgusts him and he doesn't want to make it any bigger. Long version (a lot of text): He originally mentioned that the reason he didn't monetize Worm (with Amazon or any decent eBook) is because it needed editing. Understandably, it was his first job. From then on, there were years where Wildbow mentioned that he was editing Worm and when people asked him, he gave different reasons here and there: Worm is 1.5 million words, basically all of Harry Potter and all of Lord of the Rings put together, there were too many things to change that would affect other things that would affect other things. He also couldn't afford to pay an editor, because again it's too long. He also mentioned from time to time that he was approached by producers for shows and series, but that they changed a lot of things that he didn't want changed. He mentioned that he met with several editors and producers about many ways to bring Worm into the world, but never committed to anything, in the end. As the years went by, he wrote more novels, forgot more about the Parahumans universe, and admitted that Worm is honestly a work he no longer identifies with because he didn't write it in the best time of his life. Add to that the fact that the fandom became absolutely toxic and even threatened him with certain things that happen in the sequel, and at this point Wildbow no longer wants to touch the world of Parahumans with a stick. @@Mperalta97 I mean at the start Taylor did have a strong moral compass that simply eroded over time, there is a reason she didn't use her powers on the trio. If taylor hadn't joined the Undersiders I can see her becoming a good hero especialy if she was on an independant team
I actually think Ladybug takes this, if she doesn't use the Lucky Charm right away. She can summon any Miraculous she wants from the Miracle Box, and even if Skitter has a good number of contingencies to a lucky charm, she can probably use the wide variety of Miraculouses to outpace her.
In my opinion, the outcome of the fight depends entirely on if Skitter can disengage from the initial encounter. Skitter is at her most dangerous when she has breathing room. She needs time to plan, and to dictate the terms of the engagement. Once she has that, the fight becomes a lot more even.
This matchup feels random But the music sounds awesome! EDIT: Two Ladybug commissions and neither of them are her VS Randy Cunningham...smh _(Though Ladybug VS Spider-Man is a great alt and Amazingly Miraculous was an awesome track)_
I’d recommend reading worm but I have too warn everyone that it’s rough with its “realistic” story telling cause it gets from “realistic” too grim derp fast especially with the not justice league
"What if superheroes...but its gritty and realistic!" taken and hammered into the floor further than any other by about a hundred leagues. Eg, nobody has superhuman physicalities unless there’s a power specifically providing it and the capes like to pack heat. This matchup exists because of the drastic tone disjoint between these two as one plays custodian to magic butterflies and the other is shredding eyeballs with the use of maggots.
Nope, alot darker, invincible isn't dark, it just bloody, which is good for the show they want it to be. While the boys is dark, but it's not as dark as worm, while the boys is focused on the human aspects of superheroes, how high and mighty they would be, how they would see themselves and treat normal people, and the corporate side of things, the world run by the media, and the multi-million companies, and the propaganda by the government. Worm on the other hand, is more on the individual level, because in worm, powers come from TRAUMA, a vary important detail, it explores, bullying, abuse, violence, mental health, in depth, and how ties with the big picture. The main character triggers(gains a power) because of extensive bullying, by being thrown into her locker full of menstrual blood and other garbage, and locked there for a while, which is why she gets BUG powers, she wanted to be OUT of there, so she got the power to feel outside, by feeling creatures that are outside. The experience was so bad that she was hospitalized for a while, and that's similar to most people in this story, especially since they powers are tied to their trauma, I would give more examples but this is already heavy spoliers enough, if you want I don't mind
Here’s an idea. Uzi and N (Murder Drones) vs X and Zero (Megaman) Both a duo of robotic protagonists. One pair wants to rage war on humanity (At least Uzi does) The other wants robots and humans to lives in harmony.
I know little about both series, but seeing as how one has the ability to control bugs, and tikki is based off of a bug and has all the natural abilities of that bug.... It all depends on whether DB considers Tikki to be an animal or not, which realistically she should be, so Skitter wins via better powers.
I mean, Kwami appear to be more akin to cosmic fairies that just happen to look like animals than anything else, so by all rights Skitter shouldn't be able to control her. That being said, I don't think Skitter needs that advantage to win. She's got a fair bit more experience in fighting way more ruthless opponents, better range and battlefield control thanks to her bugs, and better endurance since Ladybug's finisher move leaves her powerless five minutes later. Ladybug's stats are higher, but I don't think that'll be enough in this case.

Pretty sure Skitters manipulation (not including Khepri) is more control over very simple nervous systems such as bugs, crabs, and worms. So I dont actually know who Tikki is but if they are any form of intelligent they are probably fine.

Her regular power is literally summoning a object which will solve her current problem, but with other Miraculouses she has access to: cloning, paralyzing foes, creating forcefields, illusions, talk-no-jutsu style guilt tripping, two different kinds of time travel, teleportation, three different elemental abilities, the ability to disrupt/cancel other powers, and various weapons depending on what she's using. So far anyway, not all Miraculous powers have been revealed yet So yeah, definitely not a stomp. Plus I haven't researched her feats, but I knoe she can react to and dodge lightning, and she's tanked a lot of shit

Seeing a bunch of people in the comments wondering what the connection is between Skitter and Ladybug, so as the guy who commissioned this track, I should probably explain. There's actually a surprising amount in common between them - they're both bug-themed superhumans who specialize in taking down much stronger opponents through clever tactics, they're both great at battlefield planning but hopelessly awkward in social situations, they both have a history of being bullied in school, they both have a snarky blonde best friend who comes from a rich family (and who they frequently get shipped with), and if you really want to stretch the comparison, both of their arch-enemies are trying to bring back their dead wives through a plan involving handing out superpowers to emotionally unstable people.
As for the matchup itself, I feel like it could easily go either way. Ladybug definitely has the higher stats on paper, but with Skitter's superior range, it's entirely possible she could stall out the post-Lucky Charm timer and swarm Marinette as soon as she runs out of energy.
I haven't watched the serie in a while (I think fell off at the start of season 3?), but I don't think Ladybug has anything that would allow her to win this? Sure, she has the higher physical stats, but Skitter has taken down parahumans with even higher physical stats. Ladybug has also beaten stronger opponents but... she had the advantage that all of her adversaries have a built-in weakspot: the item that is possessed by the akuma. Break that and the enemy goes back to being a normal human.
To beat Skitter she'd have to *actually* beat her unconscious/kill her. Meanwhile, she doesn't really have any defenses against being bitten/stung by a swarm of insects?
@@swordcrab3181 True, but Skitter’s still got baseline-human physical stats, even if her suit offers her some measure of protection, and with how fast Ladybug’s yoyo has been shown to move sometimes, even one solid hit from it would deal some serious damage to her. Plus Ladybug has some experience fighting insect controllers (Queen Wasp, Miracle Queen), and her Lucky Charm could easily allow her to throw a wrench into Skitter’s plans.

It's very hard to take Skitter by surprise with her swarmsense, she doesn't need line of sight so she can actually hide while still fighting, and even if there is no cover she can amass a swarm dense enough to obscure her position. Skitter doesn't fight like most insect controllers.
Also, like, a bit of a boring answer but... Skitter has a gun. And she will use it if she needs to.

Agreed, the more I thought of this matchup the more I realized how good it is thematically and as an actual fight. I think it all depends on if Ladybug can find a way to shut down Skitter’s swarm, as she’s strong enough to likely one shot but tends not to fight that way
Y'know, with "heroes are not so noble" genre popularity spiked up with The Boys & Invincible, i'm suprised no one wants to take a chance to make a adaptation for Worm.

There's something immensely satisfying about imagining Ladybug desperately trying to escape from an apocalyptic swarm of bugs of a size and ferocity only foretold in the Bible.
To me Marinette is the lesser of the two evils, so I would help her if meant geting rid of Taylor.

Wdym Weaver is a valued member of the Hero community. And Kephri certainly is a hero by any means of the word.
I gotta sat I'm a big fan of the insect buzzing. Since Skitter is a character from a book, it's literally impossible to draw an actual musical inspiration from the source. But I think the use of buzzing really works as her thematic instrument for this theme. Just kinda obvious choice yet fully natural and dire as it needs to be.

Even if it’s in the universal opinion I say skitter wins hands-down, because if we take all the equipment she’s used to over her years of fighting, and her abilities she has Marinette our class in nearly every way from mobility to combat capability to adaptability, the literal only way I can see Marinette winning in anyway is getting a getting rail gun from her lucky charm, and even then I see a high possibility of skitter just stealing whatever in the world her lucky charm is and when using that to kill her. And if we bring her end of series powers into this then she basically instantly win for second Marinette enters a 5 m radius, because after that she can just make her basically strangle her self since Marinette does not have any anti-mind control powers.

To give a little detail, Taylor Hebert aka Skitter can control bugs and some of the uses are rather grim. Had a bunch fill the mouth, ears and even nasal cavity of a hero

Pretty sure Skitter wins. Unlike Marinette, or the majority of her villains, Skitter lives in a world where fights to the death are relatively common, and death is actually far from the worst outcome. She has that killer instinct that Ladybug lacks as a result.
It also doesn't hurt that Ladybug"s Lucky Charm is unlikely to be able to deal with the number of contingencies Skitter likely would use. For that matter, it uses magic to give Ladybug a way to solve a problem in an unorthodox manner... something which Taylor does in nearly every fight she gets in without any magic to speak of.
It's true, in a straight fight, Ladybug has Skitter beat with her powers, but the same is true of almost every enemy Skitter beats in her time, from the first through to the last.
Which is why she loses all her match ups

At her VERY peak and full access of her powers she could mind control multiple Earth's from various universe at the cost of sanity and emotions.
Skitter has complete individual control over everything loosely considered an insect within 3-4 city blocks each block being around 300 feet. At first glance that might not be all that impressive until You start truly thinking about what that means... She has complete individual control, as in she is making decisions for every insect individually without without affecting her own thought processes at all aka unlimited multitasking, using the bugs senses to gather information with their hearing and her innate understanding of where any one of her bug is at any given time. That is brief description of her power if you want the at length one (the fucking essay that it is) Go for Taylor Hebert Worm Fandom Wiki.
Now that I've described what her power is I am going to go into some spoiler territory to explain what she has done with it...
The first thing that comes to mind is the Alexandria Special...Alexandria is Worm's Superman stand in, with super strength, invulnerability, and flight, Other Superman like capes are actually called Alexandria Capes. Now along with her stereotypical superman powers she also had eidetic memory and extreme cold reading (gaining information from things like body language). This is important because Skitter killed her... Skitter filled her throat and lungs with insects to the point that she suffocated to death...
Skitter can create vague replicas of a human shape with her bugs and then use their natural sounds to replicate human speech and if she covers herself in bugs it becomes nearly impossible to tell her apart from her clones...
She has fought the Slaughter House 9 who are a group of insane killers going around creating their "art" aka extremely creative ways to kill and torture. Their group include a man who can cut you from a distance and always knows what you are going to do before you do, 2 unkillable monsters, and a girl that can end all life on Earth in a week and that is being generous with the Earths chances...
Taylor maybe a hero at heart but she regularly pushes her emotions into her bugs to avoid feeling them making her appear and act extremely ruthlessly and pragmatically, and the very nature of Powers in Worm is driving her to escalate, fight and kill...
I am incredibly sorry and while I can't claim to know much about Lady Bug from my brief look into her from this comment section and a extremely quick wiki search I just cannot see her beating Taylor before she has killed her...
Also note that this has all been me talking about Skitter/Weaver... Khepri is a completely different beast... With the Apocalypse underway Taylor approaches parahumans with incredible control over biology and understanding of how powers work and change her power... She could no longer takeover targets that were farther away then 5 meters but once she did take over it is my understanding that her range was infinite... and she could take over other parahumans... imagine that same control she has over insects, where every insect is more like an extension of her body then a separate being under her control, and apply it to every human being that walks within 5 meters of her... This did cause her and the Eldrich being powering her power to begin melding making her very quickly loose her sanity... but it also allowed her to stand her ground and ultimately triumph over the creature threatening every conceivable instance of earth in the multiverse... Even if the victory actually came trough psychological warfare rather then overpowering the enemy...
If there is one thing I can remark on is just as plagg and tiki and utter opposites

Ladybug (Base) vs Skitter
Skitter was able do bind Crawler, a creature that outmatches Ladybug physically in every sense, using spiders and their silk.
As long as Skitter remains out of sight and has Ladybug within her range, she should be able to bind the enemy and wait until the miraculous needs to recharge.
Forcing Ladybug to choke on bugs is also an option.
The only way I see for Ladybug to come out ahead is if the fight starts at close quarters and Skitter does not manage to disengage.
Ladybug (with power ups and other miraculous) vs Skitter
Dragon miraculous lets her turn into air to escape any binds. Bunny one grants time travel hax. Cosmo transformation makes her FTL.
Skitter gets wrecked.
Now thats unfair.

Best time traveler in Worm is Phir Se and he could only go minutes back per portal. Leader of the Adepts from NY was apparently a time traveler also, but the particulars about him were never shown.
So many people are bringing up Skitter's endgame power where she controls immense numbers of people. Yeah if we measure with her at that point of time, she easily wins. Same if we allow Ladybug to just time travel to before Skitter got powers and kill her. At full strength, the winner is probably the one who goes first.
I think a far more interesting discussion is Ladybug and Skitter at a earlier point of their stories, where they didn't have access to much other than themselves. If Skitter doesn't have to directly fight Ladybug, I think Ladybug would run out of time before she manages a complete win with luck powers. The best case scenario for Ladybug would probably be Skitter being forced to directly fight, and even then Skitter has decent odds of winning.

I feel like this follows All Might vs Might Guy and Iron Fist vs Pho. Both characters ( I assume as I’m unfamiliar with both respective series) are good people and would complement and praise each other while trying to kill one another. As for the track its great. The use of lower, more mellow beats over more frantic higher ones is a great contrast to other tracks made in this volume.

I really don't like the Miraculous commissions because of who they get matched up against, but I swear the tracks for them slap. I really think the best matchup with Miraculous characters in it is Ladybug and Cat Noir VS. Cloak and Dagger. But I'll ask Rooster Teeth themselves to do that Death Battle and the music once this season is over.

I just found worm 3 weeks ago as research over to avoid copyright confrontation and any other infringement to my series Burrow. Now I actually can’t stop looking into worm in every way I just want to read more and watch more animations. I find Worm fascinating enough but not enough to say it inspires anything to my own series Burrow on Wordress. How hasn’t Worm had an adaptation yet everything is getting adapted no matter if it’s for nostalgia, darkness, or money. I seen darker stuff and and movies that took a long time to make. Avatar two 9 years to make. Actual interview cases such as Aileen Waternoose or something like that I’ve seen Dahmer and if we’re talking depressing disturbing content that is a worldwide thing and personal thing. I saw footage of worse stuff than Taylor shooting a child. Why can’t Worm get adapted into a movie or show!
Two months later I change my outlook. It does inspire some things making more differences in the Burrow story then the original format of it.
Interesting choice to read work to avoid copyright, when I feel like you wouldn’t really need to worry about that if you never read work to begin with since the ideas aren’t really stolen if you never read what people think you’re copying. I might try your story out though, I’ll save it to my read later list.
I think a film/tv adaptation of worm would be really challenging, practically every character wears a mask and Taylor is a very silent protagonist, most of the story is told through her perspective which I feel would be hard to translate into a non-book format.
Short version: Wildbow doesn't like Worm anymore. He didn't like the way he wrote it at the time, but editing it takes too long. Plus the fandom disgusts him and he doesn't want to make it any bigger.
Long version (a lot of text):
He originally mentioned that the reason he didn't monetize Worm (with Amazon or any decent eBook) is because it needed editing. Understandably, it was his first job. From then on, there were years where Wildbow mentioned that he was editing Worm and when people asked him, he gave different reasons here and there: Worm is 1.5 million words, basically all of Harry Potter and all of Lord of the Rings put together, there were too many things to change that would affect other things that would affect other things. He also couldn't afford to pay an editor, because again it's too long.
He also mentioned from time to time that he was approached by producers for shows and series, but that they changed a lot of things that he didn't want changed. He mentioned that he met with several editors and producers about many ways to bring Worm into the world, but never committed to anything, in the end.
As the years went by, he wrote more novels, forgot more about the Parahumans universe, and admitted that Worm is honestly a work he no longer identifies with because he didn't write it in the best time of his life. Add to that the fact that the fandom became absolutely toxic and even threatened him with certain things that happen in the sequel, and at this point Wildbow no longer wants to touch the world of Parahumans with a stick.

@@Mperalta97 I mean at the start Taylor did have a strong moral compass that simply eroded over time, there is a reason she didn't use her powers on the trio. If taylor hadn't joined the Undersiders I can see her becoming a good hero especialy if she was on an independant team
I actually think Ladybug takes this, if she doesn't use the Lucky Charm right away. She can summon any Miraculous she wants from the Miracle Box, and even if Skitter has a good number of contingencies to a lucky charm, she can probably use the wide variety of Miraculouses to outpace her.
In my opinion, the outcome of the fight depends entirely on if Skitter can disengage from the initial encounter. Skitter is at her most dangerous when she has breathing room. She needs time to plan, and to dictate the terms of the engagement. Once she has that, the fight becomes a lot more even.

Eg, nobody has superhuman physicalities unless there’s a power specifically providing it and the capes like to pack heat. This matchup exists because of the drastic tone disjoint between these two as one plays custodian to magic butterflies and the other is shredding eyeballs with the use of maggots.

Worm has a good balance between the two, while going to its own direction.
Nope, alot darker, invincible isn't dark, it just bloody, which is good for the show they want it to be.
While the boys is dark, but it's not as dark as worm, while the boys is focused on the human aspects of superheroes, how high and mighty they would be, how they would see themselves and treat normal people, and the corporate side of things, the world run by the media, and the multi-million companies, and the propaganda by the government.
Worm on the other hand, is more on the individual level, because in worm, powers come from TRAUMA, a vary important detail, it explores, bullying, abuse, violence, mental health, in depth, and how ties with the big picture.
The main character triggers(gains a power) because of extensive bullying, by being thrown into her locker full of menstrual blood and other garbage, and locked there for a while, which is why she gets BUG powers, she wanted to be OUT of there, so she got the power to feel outside, by feeling creatures that are outside.
The experience was so bad that she was hospitalized for a while, and that's similar to most people in this story, especially since they powers are tied to their trauma, I would give more examples but this is already heavy spoliers enough, if you want I don't mind

I know little about both series, but seeing as how one has the ability to control bugs, and tikki is based off of a bug and has all the natural abilities of that bug....
It all depends on whether DB considers Tikki to be an animal or not, which realistically she should be, so Skitter wins via better powers.
I mean, Kwami appear to be more akin to cosmic fairies that just happen to look like animals than anything else, so by all rights Skitter shouldn't be able to control her. That being said, I don't think Skitter needs that advantage to win. She's got a fair bit more experience in fighting way more ruthless opponents, better range and battlefield control thanks to her bugs, and better endurance since Ladybug's finisher move leaves her powerless five minutes later. Ladybug's stats are higher, but I don't think that'll be enough in this case.

Pretty sure Skitters manipulation (not including Khepri) is more control over very simple nervous systems such as bugs, crabs, and worms. So I dont actually know who Tikki is but if they are any form of intelligent they are probably fine.

Eh, I prefer Spider-Man VS Ladybug because it's the fight that Ladybug has best connections to and while she does lose to Spidey, it's not a stomp.
Her regular power is literally summoning a object which will solve her current problem, but with other Miraculouses she has access to: cloning, paralyzing foes, creating forcefields, illusions, talk-no-jutsu style guilt tripping, two different kinds of time travel, teleportation, three different elemental abilities, the ability to disrupt/cancel other powers, and various weapons depending on what she's using. So far anyway, not all Miraculous powers have been revealed yet
So yeah, definitely not a stomp. Plus I haven't researched her feats, but I knoe she can react to and dodge lightning, and she's tanked a lot of shit
