If you were impressed by this you should know that he plays about 10 more instruments and listen to his Phantom of the opera were he sings both parts and go as high as C6. He is just wow.
Tommy is extremely gifted, voice, guitar playing, all the other instruments he plays I’m amazed. He has dozens of RUclips videos whether he is alone, with Majestica, Sabaton and earlier Reinxeed(might have misspelled that🫤)he is so gifted. I am a big fan, a new one but just love him. I’m down the Dan Vasc rabbit hole in a huge way for quite awhile but to me I don’t compare them and they bring to me so much joy. ❤
Thank you so much for reacting to my suggestion! 😊 Another great cover by Tommy that you should check out is She's Gone (Steelheart). See you next time, Iris 🙋🏻♀️
Thank you for your reaction! I love the analysis from someone who is highly musically trained. I fell in love with Tommy's music in December 22 when I heard him sing O helga natt, Oh holy night in Swedish. That December he released a Christmas related song every day up to the 24th. There is much to enjoy there! He is not only mixing and mastering his covers. He also arranges the music. He has a great sense of humor. I recommend his cover of Blink182, All the small things as an example! I do recommend 😊
Hello, I'm Luiza from Brazil 🇧🇷 and this is my first time on your channel. I love the reactors, who really understand what you're talking about and analyze it accurately. But there are critics everywhere. If you don't like it, don't comment. Tommy is a sensational, kind, loving artist. He's our Thor ⚒️ of the guitar 🎸. Congratulations on the reaction ☺️💯👏👍
I agree 💯 with your comments, Luiza. I also don't like when comparisons are made. Each artist on his own merit. Tommy is a music genius and I love all his covers and originals and Majestica❤❤
Thank you so much for your great reaction to Tommy! He is the definition of a total package when it comes to amazing talent! Please react to more of him! I subbed to see more reactions to Tommy!
Love your quote, "Don't be sad it ended, just be happy it happened"! Also, Don't be sad it ended, just be happy there are so many still to listen to! You won't ever be disappointed! He just did a cover of "Dream On" (Aerosmith), just amazing! ❤
Great Review Thank you❤ Tommy is the goat, the legend ❤❤❤. FORMER guitarist 🎸 of Sabaton, a founder member Majestica 25 years, and wonderful utuber for fun to share with his many fans. Tommy is humorous, humble, talented, the real deal all rolled up in one package. So he's a Swedish and England is his second language he is awesomeness. THANK YOU SO MUCH TOMMY❤❤❤
If you want to see more of Tommy's music, I would recommend his one octave challenge (i.e. he sings the whole song one octave higher than the original) of "You raise me up", as well as his covers of "She's Gone", "Phantom of the Opera", ANY of this covers of Gary Moore's or Queen's songs, "Alone", "Helloween" (by Halloween), "Burn", as well as his cover of his own song "The Light" which he had written 20 years earlier. Honestly, you can probably pick any of Tommy's songs and enjoy them. :)
Loved your analysis! I'm glad you found Tommy. He's really an incredible musician, and a great guy with a sense of humor and fun. You can't go wrong with just about anything he's done.; this is my favorite cover of his, because I love this song so much. He redeemed a few different songs for me that I had burnt out on, most notably You Raise Me Up, which he sang 1 octave higher, and All the Small Things, which he made into a Christmas song. He's one of 4 musicians/bands that keep me sane, along with Home Free (who you evidently know), Bloodywood (Indian nu metal/folk metal - check out Aaj), and Otyken (Native Siberian folk metal - my fave is Phenomenon).
Love your analysis as always. He is self taught and quite the perfectionist. :-) Thank you. I would submit that you check out his Phantom of the Opera in which he sings both parts of the duet. He traveled to an actual Italian haunted mansion for the video.😊
He plays over 10 instruments. Listen to him singing You Raise Me Up (1 Octave Challenge) The phantom of the opera, Simple the best, Queen its fantastic, you name it. He is chrushing every song he does. Fantastic.
Hi. Never seen this channel before but because this reaction of Tommy I will follow you . This is just one of his work and I know whats coming for you. So nice work and greetings from Sweden.
Normally I don’t listen to ‘full analysis’ reactions but you absolutely captivated me. Truly enjoyed it and learned so much. So glad you found Tommy. He truly is phenomenal. 🔥 One of my favourite covers he’s done. There isn’t one song he’s done that I don’t like. New subscriber and looking forward to more. As the season approaches would love to see your reaction to what he does with traditional Christmas songs. (He has a great sense of humour as well). Tommy also has his own band Majestica who put out ‘A Christmas Carol’. Musical Scrooge 👍 I play the album all year long. In fact I think I’ll go listen to it now 🤣🎄❄️☃️
I don't know what happened, I wrote a very long comment telling you about Tommy and his background, but its simply not here. I'll try again. Tommy, born 1987 in northern Sweden started to learn playing the guitar at age 9, when his father introduced him to the music of guitarist Gary Moore. Tommy decided then and there to become a rock musician. He is a multi-talented multi-instrumentalist, music arranger and composer. Started his first band, former ReinXeed, now Majestica in his teens and the nand is still going strong 20 years later. Tommy plays guitar and sings as well as writing much of their music. For many years lead guitarist i Swedish power metal band Sabaton. He keft, very amicably this year to concentrate on his own music. He usually release a cover like this, every Friday. Covering all kind of genres from Celine Dion through rock to country. Selftaught vocalist, he's said his only traning is a vook on vocal techniques and practising to the radio. Obviously guitarist and keyboard. I've also seen him play bass, drums, banjo, recorder, harmonica, accordion and mouth harp. He is known for metalizing his covers, just the right amount. Highly recommended is his Phantom of the Opera, where he performs both parts, ending on C6. For belting, I recommend She's Gone and Alone. His Queen covers from Bohemian Rhapsody to Who Wants To Live Forever. For classical pieces, his Ave Maria, Angel We Have Heard On High and Oh Holy Night, preferably his Swedish version. It's more emotional.
Great review. I really liked that you not only listened, but also expressed your opinions, interesting comments and explanations. A little about Tommy - he plays 11 instruments: acoustic guitar, bass guitar, electric guitar, keyboards, keytar, banjo, accordion, flute, drums, harmonica and jaw harp. He also does all the arrangements himself. Very talented guy. Thanks again for the interesting review.
😍😍😍 Thank you, sir - great and worthy reaction! More, please! Might wanna check out his version of "You raise me up", or "Phantom of the Opera". Cheers from Sweden! 🙂
Or even better Ave Maria. Which is closer to what Opera singers sing, it's not opera and neither is Phantom of the Opera, the latter is a Andrew Lloyd Webber musical.
Welcome to #teamtommy. A really nice analyze so thanks. Will see him live on Saturday and the energy and the showmanship is always there on stage. Hope you do more Tommy and even Majestica.
Tommy is amazing! I would love to hear your opinion on a few others: -She’s Gone -Hallelujah -You Raise Me Up (he sings the entire song one octave higher than the original)
Thank You for Your reaction to my suggestion as well. You'll find many great songs by Tommy Johansson and my favorite is Paid My Dudes. Your next artist may be Erik Grönvall and I Will Always Love You, yes, the Whitney Houston song ! / Rolf from Stockholm 😊
Welcome to youtubes deepest rabbit hole my friend 😂❤ I hope you realise this dude sings soprano high C 😮 He is Swedish, hence his pronunciation and focus on the words 😊
Listen to Tommy J's magical voice is 💖💖💖, and the rabbit hole you're about to dive into, I'm coming along, I love it💖. And also listen to Erik Grönwall (another Swedish super voice), who is even better with them together in a cover of Sabaton's "Carolux Rex". Sabaton a band that Tommy J used to be a member of. The best history lesson there is. So listen to them 💖💖💖
I'm happy you finally found Tommy! Ever hear of Sabaton? He was their singer/guitarist for years! Check out this more recent video. /ruclips.net/video/06IS1j_syRY/видео.html
Now all you guys when you like him please go to his own page and subscribe!!! I'm flabbergasted that he doesn't have more than 250.000 subscribers when everyone is just loving all the reactions of his music!!!😮❤
Never heard Tommy before. He's good!!! You should check out Steelheart. Their lead singer is amazing!!!! So's the band. Mili, as he's called, has an amazing range. He goes very high. People say he's screaming, but he's not. That's just his voice!!! Still waiting for "Bring Me To Life"!!!!😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Whoa I can't believe you haven't done Muse yet with your niche! C'mon do Micro Cuts live at Hullaballoo! :D As for Tommy I've met him in Sweden, he seems like such a regular dude it was kind of a shock..
Tommy was the lead guitarist and as a solo artist he is incredible. He's 37 though he looks like a teebager. He makes some really fun videos too. I'd tell you more about him but m y fingers would tire. lol.Do a a quick search and he'll come right up.
As a musician he is good. From my neighbor land, from Sweden. The winner takes it all is also from Sweden - ABBA. He played guitar in Sabbaton. But there is something I just don’t like with him and I don’t even know what…….
I finally figured out what I don't like with Tommy. I don't like that tone in a tenor voice. It sets my nerves on edge. I used to tell my mom it was the difference between a bathroom tenor and an operetic tenor. Lawrence welk had a tenor named Joe Feeney and he was the one that made me figure it out
Great voice! But the whole video is too ... noisy for my taste. All the reverb on the instruments and the constantly belted refrains made me glad when it was over
Welcome to the world of Tommy Johansson, he is amazing. Love your reactions🥰

I didn't expect a cover of ABBA's lovely song to bring a whole different feel to the music. Fantastic singer, great analysis. Thank you.❤❤
