Oh wow! I had one JUST like that years ago. Same interior an exterior colors. I loooved it so much. The sound of the exhaust was one of my favorite things about it. I have the last generation now, the qx70 limited. It is quite similar but different as well. They certainly have curbed the sound of the exhaust system with the newer ones. I love these vehicles, they stand out in the crowd of SUVs no matter which year it is. Great find!

Absolutely stunning car/crossover. I actually prefer the look of the 1st gen, but just bought myself a 2nd gen. Biggest problem with 1st gens is the dash gets that disgusting bubbling
Currently I have QX56 and Fiat 500e... Missing that middle size ... Missing that car ... Everytime I sell it and change to something else I always want it back afterwards 🤷♂️

And i just purchased another 35 w 70,000 that'll be my engine swap build for the track but it'll get some street play. Im obsessed w these bodies. Tried to convince myself into the newer bodies but they don't do it for me
My Fx 35 refused to accelerate I changed the throttle sensor but it still not reviving do I need to perform any programming on it before it works.. used a 1998 Pajero before now and it was all mechanical. No sensor ish. Any ideas?

They all may have small issues depending on mileage but oil leak, transmission slippage, vibration from engine mounts failure, cranked dashboard, water getting in the headlights, wheelbarings can be an issue but a test can indicate that and other small issues depending on how it was driven. Having had 9 of them with different mileages, I’ve only had to do oil changes on few.

Right. Most have bubbled dash but good ones are they. But as of now, 1st gen are getting harder to find.
What can you do to correct the bubbling?
