He really took that "no balls" to heart
Ok but the actor delivered with an expression and a voice that makes it look like a badass line. Few people would have kept a straight face while saying this
Honestly, without the actor for Vicious, I almost thought it was an old South based horror film with that splash of blood. Like a callout to the bathroom scene in Candyman.
Change "taste" to "take", and it's not too bad and pretty menacing. But as is, too easy to go somewhere else.
@@SabrinaRina You know, I think it was supposed to be 'take' not 'taste'. The guy writing the script probably had a stroke and accidentally misspelled it.
It doesn't excuse why nobody questioned that line though.
@@SabrinaRina the bathroom scene in Candyman was great those actresses really wanted to play dead gruesomely I believe they said so in interviews. Breanna Lind and Sarah Wisterman
yeah, that's because he was on his NINE HUNDREDTH take
@@cvspvr explains his raspy voice.
The framing, the delivery, the guy who goes “Mm,” in response to the ball destroyer, it’s all put in such a comedic context yet taken so unironically SERIOUSLY lmao
ruclips.net/video/ku2PzKWFPvg/видео.html
It’s finally here
It needs context, which the person who posted this clearly didn't have. It's not supposed to be taken seriously, the whole point of the scene was to show that while he may be dangerous, the guy who cuts balls off is also a moron who didn't think before he spoke.
This is the most genius I’ve ever seen in a movies dialogue since the dark knight
this is a great line and should be quoted constantly
By this guy’s logic, almost no famous leader in history has ever known true power.
Almost.
By this logic only hardcore gays are truly powerful!
....to our knowledge.
Magdalena Solís knows true power
Or have they ...
We unironically need more screenwriting like this.
Props to the actor who....tried to make that line work.
"Holy fucking shit that was amazing, what the hell even is this?"
*sees that this is supposed to be Bebop*
"I think I'm just gonna go back to bed."
Dude same honestly I never could have thought this was from the cowboy bebop Netflix adaptation
The exact arc I just went through
I'm glad my parents didn’t let me watch the live-action adaptation with them, I don't wanna see what they did to one of my favorite anime of all time.
what is cowboy bebop?
@@gta_s4531 it's a 90s anime that's set in a Sci-Fi western noir universe where follow the adventures of few bounty hunters. It has a really sweet jazz soundtrack along with good dub VA work. It's on Netflix if im.not mistaken definitely worth checking out.
Cowboy Bebop had an episode where a child and a Welsh Corgi tripped on Mushrooms in the Wild West while a man named after Shaft drug around a wooden coffin before hijacking a watermelon truck and giving chase and it was still less goofy than whatever the fuck happened in these recorded 14 seconds.
Yep. That episode was easily forgettable
the entire franchise of baki is less goofy than this
the watermelon truck made that episode just french kiss
only japan could jam so many stereotypes into one episode and get away with it.
magnifique
That was actually a good episode for a great show
@@YABUKIJOE2077 Mushroom Samba is a great episode!
Boy if there’s one thing I love it’s getting 20 second unskippable ads for 14 second videos
This series is undefeated goddamnit
This is all the confidence I need as a writer
@mythicaldreams5711
I feel ya. I wish I had the balls(no pun intended) to be able a write a line like that and be confident enough to keep it. xD
kudos to the actor for not laughing his ass of. I've tried delivering this line to myself multiple times, and I always end up on the floor laughing my testicles off
You don’t know true power. Until you’ve tried to quote this line and not laughed your testicles off.
@@paulwaltersheherfeministvl521 we know it’s you axxl. Come out the closet already.
Well, as long as you don't try delivering the line near a man you've wronged 😂
Any time I think my writing is bad, I come back to this.
What makes it worse is the verbosity. Brevity is wit.
This is what being a pro actor means. Just thinking that line makes me smile like a debil, let alone saying it outloud. To say it without breaking character, true professional.
Well they definitely took several takes
God that debil caught me off guard
And Netflix punishes him and take the money themselves
Debil
I don't think the word _debil_ exists in English lil bro
I honestly thought this was from some bizarre B-rated movie or a surreal action comedy spoof directed by a director who's well known in the cult films community. But then I learned from the comments that it's from the "well-loved" Netflix Cowboy Bebop adaptation...
I too was surprised by *this* line being in *that *show
So what you’re saying is that it’s from a bizarre B-rated surreal action comedy spoof from the “well-loved” Netflix Cowboy Bebop adaptation.
Truly one of the dialogues of all time
He's very straight to the point
Not on the level of “Too bad YOU…will die!” or “Somehow Palpatine Returned.” but this is definitely gonna be up there soon
It gets points for being hilarious at least.
I think it’s intentionally bad
Van helsing (2004) : "Too bad... So sad..."
Is this from the same show as the ‘blackmail’ line?
@@runningcommentary2125 unfortunately yes
To the actor's credit, he did make this patently ridiculous line sound intimidating.
Edit: Hey, all. I'm not familiar with the material/Cowboy Bebop, so I'm sorry if I offended anyone with my comment. I only was trying to compliment the actor.
It's never meant to be intimidating imo. It was supposed to be funny scene
He did not, no.

the close up shot to her and then the shot of the blood hitting the leafs accompanied with the slice sound effect is just perfect.
