Fear & Hunger 2: Termina - Lost Haven (piano cover)

- Hey there,
Fear & Hunger and its sequel have kept me in awe during the last months despite me not wanting to play them myself ;) Not many pieces have melodic/tonal qualities in it that make them properly arrangable on a piano, so I tried "Lost Haven" here. I wanted to keep it rather plain and truthful to the original.
The percussion I dropped and focussed on the rest of the instruments and I've gotta say, that vibraphone is an instrument hard to listen to if you want to figure out its chords :D Still, have fun with my recording!
Btw.: yup, my grand piano is gone, going digital from now on :)

This is incredible. Stunning, breathtaking, tremendous even. What an honor to have my music transcribed this way; I myself would have NO clue how to read it, much less play the whole track on a piano, in one take LOL

So, I had been a regular on the F&H discord for years, where I posted my music pretty frequently. I caught the attention of a couple other gamedevs there, and did a few tracks for their projects, occasionally.
I think that was what made Orange comfortable with approaching me and asking if I'd be willing to tackle a few key moments in Termina that called for a bit more structure.
I consider myself WILDLY lucky tbh; it's a privilege to contribute to his work.

This version sounds like "lightier" version of "Lost Heaven", and I guess it's because there's no bass in here.
Anyway, amazing job you made here!
Good observation! I had to chuckle reading your comment, remembering me pondering about the the arrangement possibilities. In the first segment the electric bass part of the left hand could indeed be one octave lower. Back then I decided against it, not liking the space between melody and accompaniment due to the missing rhythm section and wanted to have a contrasting bass solo in the second half, too :)
