@@FabianJ lol thats worst, Portugal did top 7 and top 5 but got robbed by the televote. So no Portugal do better with only jury because they give more points for the quality than the "show"
U dont understand the lyrics, how can u judge the songs?
Their songs since their win in 2017 have been at least solid and I could see them winning again in the next few years if they stay consistent. Also their national final this year had a great selection of songs and Mimicat will probably be my all time fave from them since I'm obsessed lol.
As a Portuguese, Portugal didn't make any entry in 19/20/21 😄

Intersting music taste at 13:50 actually that's considered "pimba" a term for popular music with a predefined beat, chords and easy lyrics en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pimba. Maybe we should send Quim Barreiros, Toy, Emmanuel, Diapasão, Marante, Nel Monteiro, Zé Cabra, Maria Leal ou outros que tal...😂😂😂 And It's won. Worthed for give a bit of a summary of Portuguese music history, maybe you can delete the part from the century first decade... On that time ESC was neglected as a quality event, it only changed after the winning of 2017. But looking at the results of 2023 not sure if the popularity will continue...
