I've always loved the sound of the Shamisen (also Taiko drums as well). It's not exactly common to hear in the US but hearing it is always a treat. Anyway this cover is fantastic.

It is funny how this instrument may seem easy to play when you see it for the first time -- I mean, hey, it only has two strings -- but ends up being a very complex one in the hands of a very talented player. You only have to see this video to understand how difficult it is actually to master. Very good job!
