I'm watching you William!
Hello William,
An interesting project... I have to agree about turning between centers, something rather cool about it...
Take care.
Paul,,
Cool, thanks! Turning between centres is really fun, just like using a faceplate :)
Thanks for sharing 👍
Thanks for watching
this video basically told me to make the 1" minnie, alongside the tina stationary and the sweet pea. cute dog.
That is awesome, I love that design - but were it me I would go for something larger - it seems the Minnie is far enough along that you may as well build a 2" or 3" scale, particularly if you can buy final drive or wheels finished machined...
Great little project there!
Hopefully 'little' is the operative, I'm looking forward to having something complete quite soon!
Good work William.
Thanks Kevin - hopefully this should be a quicky!
Following this series, may well follow in your footsteps…👍👍
You definitely should, it's a really fun and easy build so far...
Hi William, just subbedto your channel. This build is going to be interesting. I've also fancied this build. Cheers Kevin
Thank you for the sun, hopefully you enjoy the series - please let me know either way!
Good fun project
Yeah definitely feels fun to me - maybe because the materials are cheap and the cost of failure in time is low, there's no stress at all..
@@williamsworkshopuk yes I'm currently building a 2 inch scale fowler traction engine so yes cost for your project is minimal in comparison looking forward to see more
@@carlweatherley4883 part of the justification for 2.5” gauge over 5” gauge locos too - exponentially less costly and so less stressful! We’ll see I guess!!
@@williamsworkshopuk yes very true m8
Oh, an interesting new series. You have definitely captured my interest. 👏👏👍😀
Well, this one is now on hold - such is my caprice :)
Sorry mate but I did lol when the pin snapped. Relatable content.
Always something, right? Great to have you aboard!
It's all about having a good time in the workshop. No matter what you're building :)
Ah I'm always having fun - I don't think I swore once during this entire production!
Looks to be a nice quick (ish) project
I think there are about 60 pieces to this engine - and I've 'already' built 5 - so hopefully it will be quick and easy :)
This sounds like a fun project and I am looking forward to this series. Those small parts look really difficult to make
Thanks matey, the project is fun so far and very low stress. The small parts are annoying I'll tell you that - but the balance is that if I make a mistake it's quick to rectify!
