Giant Barracudas Crushing Topwater Baits with Seal Skin Covers

- I went fishing off the coast of Florida with Tim and Joey from Seal Skin Covers and the goal was to catch giant barracudas on topwater baits. We started the day off catching blue runners for bait. Once the bait well was filled we packed up and headed to the barracuda spot. The barracudas were fired up! Within seconds of dropping a blue runner in the ocean, a barracuda came flying out of the water trying to eat it. We caught dozens of barracudas, including two giants over 30lbs.

Blacktiph love your videos man! I'm born and raised in Alabama but the very few times I've been to Florida it feels like home. I absolutely hate to leave. Watching your vids has given me so many more bucket list fish to catch, the top three are Cuda, Mahi, and Bonita! HOPING to move down to Florida in the next few years and who knows, maybe I'll get to fish with the legend!

I’ve never seen anyone so excited to catch cuda which is part of why you’re so awesome.. when we were trolling for wahoo every time we caught a cuda instead it was incredibly frustrating probably reeled in a dozen myself at least

I caught barracuda in Florida back in the early 90's and we never kept any, just red snapper and groupers, which were awesome eating.

I was fishing in Mexico last week, we were trolling for Wahoo and Blackfin Tuna, and I ended up catching a 4 1/2 foot Barracuda (my PB) among other things, although I have to say, a lot less fun on the 30W than it is with a 6000 size spinning reel.
Very true, barracuda are much more fun on lighter tackle.
My dad caught a 6 foot barracuda on his lake trout rig in the 80s

Hey Josh +Blacktiph what do you want to look for when you are trying to find a barracuda spot?
They love shipwrecks and other tall reef structures (like piles of rocks or debris). They also like steep ledges.

Great video Josh, that was epic!! Guys first time fishing and catches a 35+lb CUDA. Was just wondering, are barracuda good to eat?? I ask because I always see them being released, no matter how big or small they are.
You can eat the small barracuda's but the large ones you cant because they have high amounts of poison in them. Its also very dangerous to gaff them as they have very sharp teeth.

What’s the biggest cuffs you have seen? We hooked two today nearly 8ft long! Fishing from Georgetown hole to 226 hole, the dinosaurs appeared running with monster wahoo! Craziest thing ever!
