    I am in IT and have been around DOS since mid-80s and Windows since mid-90s. I love the simplicity of Chromebooks.

      Chromebook plus will make many people who were die hard window users switch to chromebook. No virus control no updating and know you can do much more than just basic streaming.

      @@user-cj1tc8zi4e I'm gonna watch a video I just ordered a Chromebook plus and been a die hard windows fan since late 90s

    I love my Chromebooks! They never let me down! 😊 Just give me peace of mind. I run the business with chromebooks, but I have a Mac mini M1 as a complement. We use Google Workspace in our business, so there are absolutely no reason to use a windows computer. And I really don’t like daily problems. 😏

    I just found your channel and I love your content. I'm a Windows guy, but with what I see, thanks to your videos, I might consider switching. Very informative ❤ and I've subscribed to your channel.

      Booyeah, welcome! We don’t have a particular tech religion here but I try to be as helpful as possible with the Google ecosystem

    I'm a senior, all I use my pc for is surfing, listening to CD music and DVD movies, reading email, RUclips, sites like Netflix, and very simple photography and Skype. Can I get away from Windows, I feel I can. What do you think @itGenius. And if I don't want to use a laptop since I connect my laptop to an external keyboard, mouse and monitor and I get a Chrome Desktop or mini PC? One more question, can I attach my external drive with my files on it that I use? I don't ever play video games on my PC I use a console. Thank you.

    Hi, I'm from Poland and I'm going to buy my first Chromebook. Thanks for advice what Chrome OS is. Would you tell us more about the compatibility of Chrome OS with Android and the possibility of installing applications on Chromebooks, including the use of Parallels for applications natively intended for Windows?

      @itGenius_  11 месяцев назад

      You'd be looking for the chrome version of Crossover for that :) I dont think Parallels runs on Chrome

    Chromebooks just make sense for those who use the computer for basic everyday tasks.

    Great channel👍👏 just to mention that chrome os is as bullet proof as the chrome browser. The updates in chrome os are hassle free and i love it. Very impressed by google engineers. The linux vm is all based on existing software, but its so seamlessly integrated. Just awesome.

      I need to capture in 4K and because my machine can’t downstream to 1080 live I just stream in 4K too

    So if you can install android apps I assume you can't install libre office or linux software? Of you can't that sounds like a short fall. It's basically a desktop version of android then.

      I think this is available on recent Chrome OS versions, but you can go into settings (Advanced Settings / Developers) and turn on Linux, then you can install Libre Office. It's called the Linux Development Environment.

    I have just bought a brand new windows 11 computer to try it again after 10 yrs with a chromebook..... Result ... windows is just as annoying and useless as it ever was.... imo.... Really dissapointed but not surprised.

      they do feel similar to use but W11 still has too much 'stuff' for my liking
