When you're selling stuff and get anxious sometimes your mind can get a little confused and you end up taking much less than what you should. It's usually best to let the buyer offer first. She was probably kicking herself later. Sad.
I think it has something to do with your mind artificially halving numbers when it's not necessary. Like say you have $10 on two figures, and someone asks what you'd take for both of them. Instead of saying $15, your mind thinks of what would be a good deal on just one, so you say $8. Ouch! Yes I've done this!
It can also go the other way. Like say you're selling comic books for 25 cents each, and someone offers you $10 for the whole box and you say no. Later, you check and you've only got $6 worth of comics in the whole box xD (this actually happened).

@@PaladinHeart That's why has a seller you should be doing your homework, if you don't know the prices, take the time you need and don't just throw numbers out, it's the norm for sellers to state their price.

I bought a similar deal of legos some months back. I sold the manuals by themselves (by far the easiest of the entire job), and the mini-figs. I sold the "semi-built" toys as-is with missing pieces, (because I'm a reseller, not a Lego builder). I ran those on auctions. The rest I sorted by pulling "rare" pieces and lotting them together on auctions. There are two schools of thought as to the best way to sell bulk Legos- either by color/ style brick: or by the pound. I am currently selling them by the pound, I've sorted them all I care to, so I had no interest in putting like pieces together.

Wow the walker in the top left box alone is worth more then 100 if all the figs are included, btw if you didn't know yet you could use bricklink as well to look at going prices / to buy missing pieces. The slave is also worth way more then 50.
If the instructions are missing they are easy to find through lego their website or through bricklink to find the complete part list. Also make sure to try to find the correct figs with the sets so you won't be stuck with the set ( star wars minifigs will sell fast / good often)

You have gotten a great deal with the Lego. No boxes which isn’t great and no doubt a lot of parts will be missing- but even if you only have a couple of complete sets, like the Sopwith camel or the space shuttle, that’ll more than cover what you paid. And if you can source missing parts from somewhere like bricklink so you end up with more complete sets you’ll get even more back!

I am a lego collector I know a lot about this stuff I would recommend you to use bricklink its a site where you can sell or buy legos and learn about lego sets pieces prices and all those stuff. If you have the time I would recommend you put the sets together 1 by 1 and sell it ass complete or missing pieces. If you don't have the time you can sell it as bulk lego which you can make money off of it but not as much as if sold separately.

Because he bought more then 1. If he bought 5 boxes baseballs would you call them baseball or baseballs?

@@flipflopsallday72 individually they are bricks (lego bricks) together they are lego.

@@lukethegardenman3747 we tend to think of each brick as a Lego so plural as Legos. You tend to call them bricks from the company which is named
Lego. Guess technically you are correct but the US consumer buys tons (literally) of Lego and we are happy to call them Legos.

2:06 I got tears in my eyes. I sell lego parts at bricklink. That pile is around 45 kg. My whole lego part store is around 52kg/43 000 parts (or around 5000 USD when every part is priced at average selling price) And here in Latvia, we do not have garage sales and such a stroke of luck as you just got.

In my opinion, sorting the LEGOS by COLOR is the best way to do it. Gives people the option to have multiple sizes and be the same color, instead of a mixed assortment.

9:24 twenty years ago when I was a new nurse. We used that tipe of heat lamp to heal / dry out wounds . We placed it a respectable distance from the patient so as no to burn them and promote healing. No 20 some years later, I never thought I would see one again.
