Ok but with her in the video it’s kinda boring but she is a nice lady and a good wife but it’s mosly baby stuff when she buys and there nun much intersting
@@batjdgman he's the one doing the work of taking the photos, creating the listing, storing it, packaging it once it does eventually sell on top of paying the fees to ebay for the listing. Most people don't want to put in all that work and i'm sure you're one of them.
Yesterday I went to a local garage sale because they were advertising a specific brand of high end women's clothes. They handed me two bags of clothing and said it was mine just for the taking. I ended up with about 150 pieces tops and pants and summer dress. Almost all of the clothes were new, never worn. I did spend $5 for a few decorator items. The bottom line is they were just desperate to get rid of as much as possible and move on. I was able to benefit many individuals using these clothes.
You're the GOAT. If you haven't already, you should post a BOLO video of popular garage sale items that are easy flips on Ebay. Thanks for posting these videos. Helps a lot on what to look for.
Hey! Your cousin Megan sent me your channel and I immediately followed. I love this content and can’t wait to continue to watch and support your channel!!! You’re a wonderful human!
I came over from Be the Village and I’m glad I did, I love garage sales! It was cool watching you go to all of them. I’m excited to start going to them again here but I’m a little leery about it also do to the virus. What a great side business and channel you have!
I’ll admit I came here from Be the Village and subscribed because I was mad when I heard you’d lost subscribers. I probably would have never seen these videos otherwise. As it turns out, it’s fun to go along with John as he works. Really enjoying these. Learning things too!
I absolutely love, love, love the joy you get in find ing things for your loved ones. The smile on your face when talking about your Dad's coin score was priceless! Reporting this as the find of the day tells me alot about you and your family.
Do you have a video where you talk through why you do or don't pick up some of the items you commonly buy? For example, the bats and gloves, what would make you buy vs not buy them, what are you looking for?
Some of the coins were cleaned, big no no. Mint set are a good buy. $30 is a steal. Stone mt. about $60, D. Boone $100 or more depends on condition. Dad will be HAPPY! Nice video, Thanks for sharing. JJ
when i go to yardsales i never like asking will u take this for it because i feel they already put the price on it that they want and when you give them a lower price i feel they get annoyed by it lol
A lot of sellers don’t mind and, in fact, expect buyers to try and negotiate a little. I have noticed that if something is priced really cheap already, John doesn’t try to low-ball them. “CP” could also stand for Classy Picker, IMO. 👍🏼
@@johnnycarter2283 oh boy, hopefully you've seen low ball Lonnie haha. Really though, people normally just throw price stickers on it and add more profits as a reseller, why not chip down a couple of bucks EVERY item. 🙂 for us its thousands a year, them, 2$ once
Wish my hometown was like yours. Lots of finding for the low.. Here most of yard sale are junk and the good ones want to sell like they a store. Even swap meets are like that, thanks to resellers ppl Google prices now.
Patrick Martin heat the sticker a little with a hair dryer on low setting, along with a Scotty Peeler (I purchased some on eBay) to lift and scrape it off. Works like a charm!
I used to sell levi jeans if its vintage levis would have a big E on jeans. And jacket. Thry are really hard to find i had a buyer from japan offer me 1000.00 for a pair of jeans with Big E on them in 2001 hope this helps
I would hang on to the cooperstown jacket with the throwback logo. That stuff with that logo is gonna skyrocket with all this logo and name change stuff going on. That was a great pull . And the copper watering can was an amazing find . Love your channel brother. Hopefully we get some baseball back again soon. Wish we wouldnt have lost Trevor to your reds esp since Puig isnt gonna be back with my tribe this year.
Looks like we hit all the same places, i spent most of the video looking for myself but based on things i bought from some of the sales i had already been to them. You made me regret passing on a few things for sure! I tried to buy the bobble heads but the woman who wasn't there told me something like $10 each for them so that is great you got them for $3!
Hey John not sure if someone already has hooked you up but Pokey used to play with my team the Red Sox back in the day. Thanks as always for the content and NEED Baseball Back!
Thanks for the model number tip on Baseball Gloves. It helps me a lot. I went garage selling today with my Mother and was explaining how to spot a good tennis racket. Thank for sharing John.
I have come Cooperstown collection babe Ruth cards but they mean a lot to me cuz of someone who passed gave them to me, but I don’t really know how much they go for, anyone know?
Always awesome stuff John! Pokey was on the Red Sox for maybe a season or two. Could also have been at a stadium during Interleague play and that was all the fan had.
Hello from Chicago! First off love your vids. Enjoyed this video with your wife! You guys are a great team! Was wondering if you still have that Honda hat? I just bought an older beat up Honda and I think I need that hat lol Is it listed on your ebay store? Or website? Thanks Jess
Nice picks on all of that but for me the coins were a big score. The Stone Mountain and Daniel Boone commemorative halves are each worth way more than the $30 you paid for the whole lot. Nice!
AFX slot car track, should have checked that out. You can part out tracks for good money and the cars can go $20+ each. AFX, Carrera, Atlas are great slot car brands. I always part tracks out and sell cars individually.
Hey Cincinnati picker I have a question what's the difference between straight baseball bats and the ones that aren't straight are the ones that aren't straight worth more then the ones that are straight keep up the good work love the videos I really hope you can tell me the difference good luck on the garage sale
Pokey Reese played for the Red Sox in 2004 and helped them win the World Series. If you list the ball, include “2004 World Series champion” should help it sell. Great pickup for $2. Those American League balls alone are worth far more than that.
Let’s not over look the relationship these two have! Many would kill for this. She’s crazy about you! Lucky man! 👍🏼
Just wondering why you asked for the denim jacket for free knowing how much you were going to sell them for.

I love how every time there is a dog you always greet it like it’s a human. That’s awesome.
Your wife is the sweetest lady. You two make a perfect couple. Great yard sales, not too many here in Maine yet......
MK TAKE OFF wth
MK TAKE OFF bruh what

"Hey, your the Cincinnati Picker guy" LOL Not a question? He was just making sure you knew.
If you get any stone island clothing ill pay top price

You & your wife are a amazing team.
You have a great wife and she is also your friend and best supporter I had a wife like her for 51yrs till she passed last year good luck to you both
John's shopping for the business and Whitney is shopping for the home. Good partnership.
Bringing a wife garage saling always costs more then you could make flipping.
Not unless she wears the pants
Back in business! Can't wait till things reopen for us here in the San Francisco Bay Area!
Agreed ! Be assertive if you want to get it for a price you want to pay!! Or if you’re not gonna leave room to negotiate
Great to see Whitney back in a vid. Time for another Pops ride along as well!

If your Levi’s jacket is made in USA, it’s pre-2002 and worth more. Made overseas is not vintage. Either way, they sell!
Love that you bought the coins for your dad.
Always nice to see Whitney :)
I find coin collecting stuff all the time garage saling & thrifting - books, protectors, etc - Awesome!!!
I've always loved picking and yard sales
Great finds. I wish my hubby would get up early and go garage sale shopping with me. Maybe one day.
to tell if its a vintage levi, look at the e. modern levi's have lowercase e's
Nice NIRVANA shirt!!! my favorite
That brown glove is a catchers mit

Crazy to see how normal things are by you! Hopefully starts looking like this soon near me. They just lifted our stay at home order yesterday.
What areas are best for garage sales?? Thanks
Hey John, pretty sure that copper watering can is not old. Pottery Barn sold those a few years ago. You can tell by the rivets and the welded joints.
Okay I said I'm just going to watch one of these. I'm now on my 7th video.
YOU HAVE FOUND SOME GREAT BASEBALL GOODIES - WELL DONE YOU !!!
Yeah, hold on to those silver coins and mint sets.
Giving them as a gift to his dad who I am sure will love. And $30 for all them coins was a steal for sure.

I am new to your site and I love it...I am binge watching. It was awesome to hear your wife say Darcie, that’s my name as well.
I love how every seller investigates the product right to left it’s so funny 😂😂
Those heman masters sets. .I believe kne kf them goes for like 70-90$?

Hi John, love the videos. Q: the unopen coca cola glasses box, do you open it to make sure their isn't any broken glass prior listing?
Keep up the good work Cincinnati picker. 😎💰👍
I like your beginning, I love bearded pickers beginning, how do you do your beginning? I want to do something.
Good to see some board games being purchased! WOO HOO!
Hey John do you still have those Annnabelle dolls in the storage units? I emailed you a picture similar to them a couple of weeks ago
Big fan! I'd love to see video on how you remove hard-to-remove price tags! I am at my wit's end with that! Any suggestions?
