This would make vegeta try to surpass ssj2 as he knows he’ll never defeat gohan if he doesn’t ascend further to a level that’ll surpass gohan

I got an idea What If Vegeta trained Gohan during the Buu saga? I get that Gohan goes to school, but instead of Gohan training with Goten, he trains with Vegeta, and sometimes bringing Goten so he can train with Trunks.
I think Vegeta can easily attain Super Saiyan 3 but he just doesn’t choose so because he saw the weakness of the Super Saiyan 3 transformation in Goku like complete stamina drain which is really present in the first Super Saiyan transformation.

Goku and Vegeta can in afterlife possibly perfect SSJ 3 though not necessary during BOTG. It could be used later if energy resource is reduced to lower than plain SSJ God. Also given being slightly stronger I think that should have some slight impact in other arcs. Say Vegeta actually putting a fight up vs Hit and Goku beating Hit. Prior during Freeza Resurrection that Gohan actually can hold Freeza till he is using final form seriously and Piccolo easily beats the powered up henchmen. Perhaps also giving Piccolo the win and reveal of Frost cheating, but tired out against the robot "forgot his name...". Given there is a certain time between Zamasu and ToP, maybe add your on addition say Vegeta and Goku go to planet Salad in Universe 6. Introducing some characters earlier and given more time and experience with Super Saiyan's. That way ToP can also be slightly different with a stronger well rounded Universe 7, but accidentally a now more powerful well rounded Universe 6. Besides giving the Universe Saiyan's a boost and possibly one learning SSJ 3. To go with the original change, that Hit losing the prior fight to Goku also made him focus on getting better. So besides the Pride Troopers being a threat the Universe 6 Saiyan's and Hit are now a major hurdle. Though I'd still in my desire give the win to Universe 7. Just a few thoughts on possible alterations to change it because of SSJ 3 use and slight changes that happened during Buu Arc.

The potara fusion is affected by ki usage but a fusion dance doesn't have that restriction and can use the full power and bot hold back meaning gogeta will stay fused for 30 minutes regardless of ki usage and sadly for vegito he loses time from ki usage

I liked the video man, just one criticism though. The amount of time Buu was on screen, it was so short I don’t believe this could be translated into a episode show.
If goku and vegeta never came back in this what-if, I don't think it would've had dark ending because I believe gohan would have a motivation to keep training seeing as he's the strongest one and that him not training almost caused him to die by majin buu so with his ultimate form he could potentially give beerus a good of enough fight and I'm pretty sure he'd kill Golden frieza without that much trouble unless he gets cocky. Don't how the story would be from there on though.

One thing Gogeta doesn't have the powerlimit problem Vegito does, Toriyama only gave Vegito that problem because he only ever intended for Vegito to be a one time character that he made up because he wasn't allowed to put Gogeta in the buu saga basically think of Vegito as the unwanted child who he only put in super cause toyotaro wanted him in. So Gogeta wouldn't need to hold back as Toriyama would never nerf Gogeta his first fusion that he ever designed and made. That's why he never planned on putting Gogeta in that arc cause he'd destroy Zamasu instantly and instead he originally wanted Goku, Vegeta and Trunks to beat Zamasu together. In other words Gogeta just desamates Zamasu. Also the stardust breaker (not Soul punisher, Soul punisher is that technique from fusions reborn where he turns himself into the particles and goes inside Janemba and xenoverse reaffirms this as well) is actually because Gogeta is made more of Goku than Vegeta with the ability of erasing evil coming from Goku's pure heart. It's not something he learned the stardust breaker and Soul punisher techniques are just something Gogeta knows automatically. But other than that I loved this what if.

Did the Soul punisher actually kill Merged Zamasu? I thought he had immortality, especially the future Zamasu before he fused with Goku Black. I thought the Soul Punisher works by erasing all traces of evil inside the victim, and kill them if they are voluntarily evil. Would it still work on bad guys with immortality?

I liked the video man, just one criticism though. The amount of time Buu was on screen, it was so short I don’t believe this could be translated into a episode show.
If goku and vegeta never came back in this what-if, I don't think it would've had dark ending because I believe gohan would have a motivation to keep training seeing as he's the strongest one and that him not training almost caused him to die by majin buu so with his ultimate form he could potentially give beerus a good of enough fight and I'm pretty sure he'd kill Golden frieza without that much trouble unless he gets cocky. Don't how the story would be from there on though.

One thing Gogeta doesn't have the powerlimit problem Vegito does, Toriyama only gave Vegito that problem because he only ever intended for Vegito to be a one time character that he made up because he wasn't allowed to put Gogeta in the buu saga basically think of Vegito as the unwanted child who he only put in super cause toyotaro wanted him in. So Gogeta wouldn't need to hold back as Toriyama would never nerf Gogeta his first fusion that he ever designed and made. That's why he never planned on putting Gogeta in that arc cause he'd destroy Zamasu instantly and instead he originally wanted Goku, Vegeta and Trunks to beat Zamasu together.
In other words Gogeta just desamates Zamasu.
Also the stardust breaker (not Soul punisher, Soul punisher is that technique from fusions reborn where he turns himself into the particles and goes inside Janemba and xenoverse reaffirms this as well)
is actually because Gogeta is made more of Goku than Vegeta with the ability of erasing evil coming from Goku's pure heart. It's not something he learned the stardust breaker and Soul punisher techniques are just something Gogeta knows automatically.
But other than that I loved this what if.

Did the Soul punisher actually kill Merged Zamasu? I thought he had immortality, especially the future Zamasu before he fused with Goku Black. I thought the Soul Punisher works by erasing all traces of evil inside the victim, and kill them if they are voluntarily evil. Would it still work on bad guys with immortality?
