This is a place I’ve wanted to visit since I was a child as my dad was in the Merchant Navy and sailed there in 1955 at 17 years old!!!! He said it was just amazing . I’m now in a wheelchair so it won’t be realistic for me but I’m sure you know just how fortunate anyone is to visit . 😳👍

I was on the World Traveller in January on its first crossing of the Antarctic Circle. What an amazing trip! I was in cabin 546. Everyone on board was fabulous. It was literally a trip of a lifetime that I waiting 60 years to be able to take. Thank you for your cabin tour. This is identical to my cabin, so it brings back a lot of wonderful memories.
@@jeddacath Wi-Fi was included in the price of the ticket. I believe you could upgrade the wi-fi if you do streaming, and things of that nature, but I never saw the need to do that. On atlas, everything is included, including all food, drink, the Polar Plunge, etc. On an Antarctic voyage the only things that they charged extra for were kayaking and paddle boarding. All zodiac excursions and landings were fully included
I know what you mean by luxurious. Must be quite a culture shock vs the mega ships like wonder of the seas or the more budget friendly options. Royal Carribean has a luxury line called Silversea and luxury is the name of the game. Passenger capacity of under 700. 2 stewards per passenger. It is definitely a treat that if you can afford looks like an experience worth having. At the expense of ever being satisfied with the budget options again. However thank you for the video and tour. I am happy that you and the fabulous Lauren were able to have this amazing experience together. Plus I bet Nintendo World feels warm now by comparison. 😂❤ All the best to my favourite cruise couple.

Sailing to antártica on the same ship next winter! I’ve never been on a cruise before so it should be interesting! I was going to go on a European cruise with atlas sailing from near my home in Lisbon but I’ll be going to the US to visit family instead!

Beautiful cabin, and it looks like an amazing cruise to taken; but yes, that bathroom would not work for my 6’, 250 pound hubby. Would probably have to go up a cabin size ($$$). If we ever decide to do, hopefully they can provide that type of information so he could be comfortable showering. Thank you for sharing!

Just Note Disney Cruise cabins are actually bigger than this cabin. You have two bathrooms one for toilet and the other one has a tub and shower. Definitely too much $ for that cabin. But it’s a great experience so kudos for you taking the time to video 👌🏾
When you mentioned the barf bag, I thought you said “Drink Passage” at first rather than “Drake Passage.” I thought it was like the captain purposefully navigated through rough seas to make passengers sick. 🤮

Yes they do! However from what I saw my room was cheaper and head more space

So that price was actually pretty typical of what I booked for my clients a fantastic deal, prices have gone up for next season but still reasonable
