Even with growing up in a family with both parents devoted to their marriage (now married for 37y) I still had issues. I knew what I wanted my relationship to look like, but I didn't fully understand how to obtain it. It has taken years to get it; to realize that every single man in church is not a potential mate, that just because they say they are a Christian doesn't mean that we'll be on the same page 're:what the relationship should look like, and understanding the gift of free will and how we have a choice to stay in the relationship or leave. Still so much to learn about it all, yet I pray God has full control. Thank you so much for sharing!
I’ve been seeing these videos pop up in my feed since about a week ago, and this one made me so emotional. Your upbringing is something I can relate to in a way. My mom and dad still are together, but neither one taught me anything… My mom only taught me the same thing your mom taught you. My relationships were definitely unstructured, as well… I dated 2 guys in my past just because other people told me I should… and the others I just dated because we talked for a little bit and they were nice to me…. None of them were religious… Now, I’ve been single for awhile and I’m waiting on God for everything and just trying to stay close to Him. This video was so beautiful!! I was deeply blessed by it. One of my favorite parts was where you talked about your 2nd relationship that was birthed out of emotional intimacy. Being friends with members of the opposite sex is tricky & the enemy loves to come into friendships like that and corrupt them & distract you from the purpose of God. You talked so beautifully on boundaries & I loved it so much. Even when no physical boundaries have been crossed, sometimes it's easy for us to cross emotional boundaries without us even realizing it! I have been in prayer with God over the last few weeks & he bought so many things to my knowledge through this video!! What a blessing! Love you sis & be blessed! X

My church leadership insists that God does not choose our spouses - or even care about who we choose - which is the opposite of what God told me. He also told me that this is often times the last area that "control freaks" submit to Him (which is my issue), so maintaining my faith that His choice for me is the best choice is a major test for me. I've been struggling a lot with questions, doubts, fear, anxiety, and trying to take things into my own hands when it comes to relationships that it literally fails every single time. Yet, I find myself still doing it because I think God can't do it on His own. I desire to be married and have a family one day and I don't know if that's God's will for my life or not but I hope that it is. I resonated a lot with your video especially coming from a broken home as well and I have this major fear that my future marriage, if I'm called to it, won't work out because it didn't work out with my parents. I know that's the enemy talking but I have a very hard time surrendering that and just my desire in general to Him. All of my friends have someone and I feel like, did God forget about me? I've never had a boyfriend but I'm only 24. I definitely relate a lot to emotional attachment because I find myself trying to pursue guys emotionally and then getting mad/heartbroken when it doesn't work out. I struggle with patience as im sure a lot of women on this topic do. The idea in this video that stuck out to me the most (it was like a big flashing lightbulb that when off in my head, so thank you for that!) was when you talked about how God created both people so He obviously knows which people are meant to be together. I just need to trust and be patient while I'm in the waiting process but continue to grow and learn so I'm ready for when/if he comes around. I've seen alot of women around me who found their husband at age 30. Others became single. There were both blessed, even though the journey felt like a heartache. But one thing I learned from God is that when he reveals himself, there is peace in His plans. Some people struggle to make their lives become God's plan, I was one. Now, I'm tired of struggling and just let God control that part of my life. When I did, I realized I had so many things up my plate to fix and improve on. We have our seasons.

I’ve always been really shy around girls. I’ve never really had a girlfriend before. But people have always told me that God has someone out there for me. I was never, and I’m still not a very attractive guy, and I always thought no one would ever love me because of my looks. But over the years I’ve learned that a person’s appearance isn’t the main thing. I still wondered if someone would ever love, but only recently my faith and my patience have grown stronger. I realized that I don’t just want the right one for me, but I want God’s best for me. There’s always one song that comes to my mind whenever I wonder when I’m going to meet the right one. That song is The Longer the Waiting the Sweeter the Kiss by Josh Turner. I believe God puts that song, and those words on my mind for a reason.
I think it is absolutely wonderful how God has been using you to touch the lives of so many. You have a gift that many lack: openness and vulnerability. It's so crazy to me to think of the "behind-the-scenes" lives of those we interacted with quite frequently. Course she does is calling his from the start of his name to the book they wrote us is nothing but love stories and then when we get into reading ourselves and we put him first in our and together we miss him he'll tell us the most beautifulest of love stories and we can only credit it to him because we will add the scriptures they gave us the scars and the broken cracks in in the one who puts us to share a life with and then we'll start seeing the beauty of love that he gave us God gives us best love story in the world with him he gave us he gave us everything about the love of God is a love story. You need to be a complete whole person before meeting some person... that hit me. For years being Christian, I have not been able to submit not change. Emotional attachment and crossing boundary as well!! I really need time one on one with God more in my life. I am over 30 already and made many mistakes... i envy you and give me positive encouragement to change myself.

God hasn't even started on my love story yet and I am 26 years old. I just received my degree in animation and finished college last semester. Looks like finding a husband in college is thrown out the window like high school. I feel like a loser and I am like the only one with two old classmates who are still single. I never had a relationship before in my life. I never experience love from a man who liked me. I dont know what its like ton recieve a flower from a guy. Most of my classmates are married and some have children. I know a lot of younger women like 5 and 6 years younger than me getting married and have children. I came across a few old classmates who I havent seen since high school have children and in a relationship. I am pathethic because I created so many stuff for my future husband and like many people say, its a waste of time. I am an artist. I create many art stuff for him. I created vintage stained journals and my last letter stopped at 2014. I just stopped writing. I bought him games, flowers and random stuff through the few years. I have some holiday cards from different years. I even made him a picnic basket from a cedar tree I cut down. I have many and many vintage letter I created for him. He has so much stuff and all of it is in a rusty treasure chest locked. I realized what I am doing is kinda stupid and I only did it to make my self feel better. I wanted to throw the entire chest in the trash, but I couldn't bring my self to do it. I just threw everything in the closet and its buried in boxes. I did it because God told me through an prophet and an apostle that God has a husband set aside for me and how he is keeping me hidden for him and he will love all on me which that was the part that made me turn red. This was 2 years ago and and I will have a husband one day, so why do I feel the way I do? I have a opportunity to intern at an animation studio in Japan this summer. I hope me being there and having fun will help me not think about love as much or not at all until it happens.
Suppose you end up meeting a Japanese guy while over there? I think you should worry more about just living life and having fun and you never know, your guy might pop up when you least expect it. What we resist will persist. When you resist being single, it will persist. Try your best to let it go and see what happens.
A Matt. Thanks for the replay back. I am trying to let go, but its hard. I am fine, happy and say how I will not think about guys or future husband, but all of that goes out the window when I go on facebook. Looking at everybody's life and how they are moving move and accomplish one mile stone after another makes me feel bad about my life even when I have a BFA in filmmaking and animation. I have a lot of things going for myself. You know, trying to start my career and make a name for myself in another country. I don't know why I get so jealous of everybody and everything and it's hard to get over it. I can't stop being jealous and envy of what others have. Most of the women who I am jealous of work at jobs McDonald's, ware houses or don't even have jobs. There are some who have boyfriends, are married or have children and have nice jobs, buying houses and other things. A lot of them are mothers and some are single moms where their boyfriends left them. These are the people I am jealous of because they all have the few things that I always wanted and that is to have a husband and children. I want it now. A lot of these women have nothing, but say how their other significant and children make them complete or their lives better. I always put my art projects aside and look at what other people are doing. Sometimes I become sad and don't bother working on my art project because I am too sad. God promise me a husband, but its hard to wait when you are left behind and everybody else is moving on with their lives and are too busy to talk and hang around me. I will take your advice and to to let go.

I remembered I joined a youth camp last May 2015. I talked to God seriously...Told Him, Lord I find it hard to figure out why no one pursues me..Never had a try to get a flower from a guy. I said, I commit myself before you Lord. Either I get married or stay single...I will serve You. A month later I met a Christian man in a christian dating site I was joining(been on that site for 2 years and almost gave up)...Then this man expresses his heart to me..I ask God a sign..And I said yes.. Honestly it was a very hard part on me..Thinking i was just emotional and putting my own signs just to be in a relationship..I pushed him away many times like asking some space (to think it is a long distance relationship)...He also struggled on his part like asking God why his heart belongs to someone so far..Philippines to US...and due to some issues he cannot even process his documents coming. Now I can say, God is not yet done with our love story.. We will be celebrating our 3 years together (but away)... We never meet personally but the bond like we have is so amazing. So, my advice is you should give God all that you have..He sees what your heart is looking..And i tell you..all things you desire will follow... God bless and Glory To God!
I watched the video on Greek societies and why not to join. I was curious about joining one and and started seeing ppl say Christians shouldn't. You mentioned the Bible not being secretive around 50 min into the video but the whole video was shrouded in secrecy. You said you can find stuff on the internet, well that was the purpose in coming to your video. Unless you take a legal vow of nondisclosure, it seems the Greek life still has a hold on ppl that get out bc they refuse to talk openly about it so others can know concretely what happens. We'll talk openly about everything else but leave the Greek secrets secret. I will continue my search.

I've seen alot of women around me who found their husband at age 30. Others became single. There were both blessed, even though the journey felt like a heartache. But one thing I learned from God is that when he reveals himself, there is peace in His plans. Some people struggle to make their lives become God's plan, I was one. Now, I'm tired of struggling and just let God control that part of my life. When I did, I realized I had so many things up my plate to fix and improve on. We have our seasons.

I’ve always been really shy around girls. I’ve never really had a girlfriend before. But people have always told me that God has someone out there for me. I was never, and I’m still not a very attractive guy, and I always thought no one would ever love me because of my looks. But over the years I’ve learned that a person’s appearance isn’t the main thing. I still wondered if someone would ever love, but only recently my faith and my patience have grown stronger. I realized that I don’t just want the right one for me, but I want God’s best for me. There’s always one song that comes to my mind whenever I wonder when I’m going to meet the right one. That song is The Longer the Waiting the Sweeter the Kiss by Josh Turner. I believe God puts that song, and those words on my mind for a reason.
I think it is absolutely wonderful how God has been using you to touch the lives of so many. You have a gift that many lack: openness and vulnerability. It's so crazy to me to think of the "behind-the-scenes" lives of those we interacted with quite frequently. I am thanking God today for bringing you healing and will pray for continued healing and restoration. You are a living testimony! Be well.

God hasn't even started on my love story yet and I am 26 years old. I just received my degree in animation and finished college last semester. Looks like finding a husband in college is thrown out the window like high school. I feel like a loser and I am like the only one with two old classmates who are still single. I never had a relationship before in my life. I never experience love from a man who liked me. I dont know what its like ton recieve a flower from a guy. Most of my classmates are married and some have children. I know a lot of younger women like 5 and 6 years younger than me getting married and have children. I came across a few old classmates who I havent seen since high school have children and in a relationship. I am pathethic because I created so many stuff for my future husband and like many people say, its a waste of time. I am an artist. I create many art stuff for him. I created vintage stained journals and my last letter stopped at 2014. I just stopped writing. I bought him games, flowers and random stuff through the few years. I have some holiday cards from different years. I even made him a picnic basket from a cedar tree I cut down. I have many and many vintage letter I created for him. He has so much stuff and all of it is in a rusty treasure chest locked. I realized what I am doing is kinda stupid and I only did it to make my self feel better. I wanted to throw the entire chest in the trash, but I couldn't bring my self to do it. I just threw everything in the closet and its buried in boxes. I did it because God told me through an prophet and an apostle that God has a husband set aside for me and how he is keeping me hidden for him and he will love all on me which that was the part that made me turn red. This was 2 years ago and and I will have a husband one day, so why do I feel the way I do? I have a opportunity to intern at an animation studio in Japan this summer. I hope me being there and having fun will help me not think about love as much or not at all until it happens.
Suppose you end up meeting a Japanese guy while over there? I think you should worry more about just living life and having fun and you never know, your guy might pop up when you least expect it. What we resist will persist. When you resist being single, it will persist. Try your best to let it go and see what happens.
A Matt. Thanks for the replay back. I am trying to let go, but its hard. I am fine, happy and say how I will not think about guys or future husband, but all of that goes out the window when I go on facebook. Looking at everybody's life and how they are moving move and accomplish one mile stone after another makes me feel bad about my life even when I have a BFA in filmmaking and animation. I have a lot of things going for myself. You know, trying to start my career and make a name for myself in another country. I don't know why I get so jealous of everybody and everything and it's hard to get over it. I can't stop being jealous and envy of what others have. Most of the women who I am jealous of work at jobs McDonald's, ware houses or don't even have jobs. There are some who have boyfriends, are married or have children and have nice jobs, buying houses and other things. A lot of them are mothers and some are single moms where their boyfriends left them. These are the people I am jealous of because they all have the few things that I always wanted and that is to have a husband and children. I want it now. A lot of these women have nothing, but say how their other significant and children make them complete or their lives better. I always put my art projects aside and look at what other people are doing. Sometimes I become sad and don't bother working on my art project because I am too sad. God promise me a husband, but its hard to wait when you are left behind and everybody else is moving on with their lives and are too busy to talk and hang around me. I will take your advice and to to let go.
+JaejoongPrincess Allow God to write your love story. It took a lot of patience and endurance. I am 30 now and has no boyfriend eversince until I get 27. I remembered I joined a youth camp last May 2015. I talked to God seriously...Told Him, Lord I find it hard to figure out why no one pursues me..Never had a try to get a flower from a guy. I said, I commit myself before you Lord. Either I get married or stay single...I will serve You.
A month later I met a Christian man in a christian dating site I was joining(been on that site for 2 years and almost gave up)...Then this man expresses his heart to me..I ask God a sign..And I said yes.. Honestly it was a very hard part on me..Thinking i was just emotional and putting my own signs just to be in a relationship..I pushed him away many times like asking some space (to think it is a long distance relationship)...He also struggled on his part like asking God why his heart belongs to someone so far..Philippines to US...and due to some issues he cannot even process his documents coming.
Now I can say, God is not yet done with our love story.. We will be celebrating our 3 years together (but away)... We never meet personally but the bond like we have is so amazing.
So, my advice is you should give God all that you have..He sees what your heart is looking..And i tell you..all things you desire will follow...

I watched the video on Greek societies and why not to join. I was curious about joining one and and started seeing ppl say Christians shouldn't. You mentioned the Bible not being secretive around 50 min into the video but the whole video was shrouded in secrecy. You said you can find stuff on the internet, well that was the purpose in coming to your video. Unless you take a legal vow of nondisclosure, it seems the Greek life still has a hold on ppl that get out bc they refuse to talk openly about it so others can know concretely what happens. We'll talk openly about everything else but leave the Greek secrets secret. I will continue my search.

I have have around 8months on his girl and i saw as the person GOD chose for me i have gone up and down on how she feels for me but i have gone up and down to where we were good friends but then she tells me messed up things and i just believed and had faith not long ago i herd from her kind of clear she likes me and i thanked GOD but now shw told me she dating some one i saw her hugging the guy but didnt see him kiss or something more serious but ik that at 15 years old GOD made feel actual life because he used this person to change me to him alot and if u believe in GOD u will believe my testimony.
