Is it okay if I put the chocolate in the freezer so it doesn't melt while I'm making the rest?
I believe so after you have done that part

She did say to leave the assembled flower at room temperature before serving. I'd guess if the chocolate is too cold it may not melt and release the petals when the warm creme anglaise is poured around it.
You will be tempering the chocolate which should ensure it won't melt during assembling it. Putting it in the freezer would ruin the tempering I believe

Hi Ashley Poh how exciting, I would attach it with chocolate just like I did with the fruit. So put a little chocolate on the macaron, add the plain band side of the ring into the chocolate so the diamond side is upright and hold until set

Amazing KittyKats in America, a macaroon is a cookie that has coconut shavings in.
in France, a macaron is a meringue like pastry sandwich (if that makes sense) with a filling. they come in many flavours and colours and taste lovely.
I personally hate American macaroons because I don't like coconut shavings, but French macarons are the bomb dot com! coffee and chocolate are my favourites

+Nicelook9 -- The melting easily is the whole point; that's what makes the "flower" open by itself. If for some reason you want your guests to have to open the petals with a utensil, then you can just use cold crème anglaise or other cold sauce.
