I seem to remember this a film short from high school in the late 70's. More time for leisure did not happen through added technology.

Yes a lot of Film Australia content ends up on the ABC now.

In the US, film distributor Pyramid Media had this in their collection and it used to be shown on Pay TV channels like HBO. I have a 16mm print in my collection I believe!

Have you got In The Beginning, by Mark D’Arcy-Irvine? (Had a couple of people in common with this apparently), later developed into The Glumps series, -if you've got any of those as well.
