Same. I read cats purring has been shown to actually facilitate the healing of damaged tissue, ligaments and bone; the purring fluctuates between 25hz to 150hz and has even been shown to heal heart damage.
They truly are a precious life form; I find myself left in awe and gratitude sometimes at how perfect they are.

Two days before christmas my cat got an injury to the face in a catfight. The wound got infected and i could tell he was in great pain. I was sitting up all night with him, waiting for morning so i could take him to the vet. It was impossible for him to sleep so the only thing he could do was to lie still and endure the pain. So i put this video on for him. He had his eyes fixed on Boo in the video and when the video stopped, it was like he slipped back in to the darkness and the pain, so i put it back on, and once again his eyes was fixated to the screen. It was as if Boo was the only thing in his life that was not filled with pain. So i played it over and over till morning came. Boo helped my cat through a night of pain, and now he has made a complete recovery, and is back to his old self. It's hard to describe with words just how much this video helped my cat that night, but i am very greatfull you uploaded it to youtube. So from me and my cat, thank you Boo and ClaireCats

My cat recently passed from lymphoma. He was the best thing since sliced bread because he was gentle with his claws and purred every time you touched him. Sometimes even before. He was a brown and white tabby and looked pretty much like the cat in this video. except his nose was completely pink and he had an white ovular patch on his back. He would always stare at you and put both his front paws on furniture begging to be petted. This reminds me of him. Thank you!

There is one thing though, one thing in this life that I am 100% certain on, without even a shadow of a doubt and that is the power of cats and my love for them, for all animals really. Ever since a white Siamese cat adopted me a decade ago, my heart became his; he has past now but I still strongly feel his presence, as though he is physically occupying a chamber of my heart.
I still love him as much as ever and miss him every day, he is the best person I have ever had the privilege of knowing.

I need a cat. When I was growing up, from birth to 18 I was raised w a cat, and I was very sick. In and out of the hospital my cat Tiger would curl up w me and purr. But, otherwise you couldn't really go near her. I loved her and miss her, and I really need her rn.
