We Leave the River a New Boat. Narrowboat journey

So after a very memorable Summer on the River Weaver on our Narrowboat Oddstruck Belle who has had fresh paint on every inch of her, we leave to head up to the canal again, and make preparations to head back to our mooring at the Golden Nook.
Autumnal mornings are upon us and the journey leaves us very reflective on what our next chapter will look like.

I hope the weather holds for you on that long walk. Are you planning to tent? To me that seems very hard. I watched Jo and Lorna do the walk and they stayed at stops on the way but I watched another guy who stayed in a tent. He had to carry a lot more! Have a great time and be safe. ❤

Hey Dorothy, We changed plans and didn’t do the walk. the weather was terrible for the whole week, so we decided to make it a foraging holiday, and spent some quality time with Shells Uncle xxx

Oh, no. 🌧️ That's terrible but at least you managed to have a good alternate week. It's a hard walk and I can't imagine doing it in constant rain! It would be just too miserable and possibly too even dangerous. Maybe some other time when the Scottish weather cooperates. ❤
