The Resurrection mod is the most polished mod and also my favorite mod.
Except for the 8 bosses in this video, the rest are WIP yet.
I can't explain all the features of the mod, but let me explain a few things in the video.
Gyoubu Oniwa
Now he has some new attack patterns and new movesets(like 00'52). As in vanilla, using Dragon Flash and Sen Throw makes it a lot easier.
Lady Butterfly
phase 2 illusion mechanic changed significantly. You can remove illusion temporarily with snap seeds.
Genichiro
poor guy..
Guardian Ape
You can counter scream with the Lazulite Flame Vent.
and (not shown in this vid tho) if you use Leaping Flame to pull centipede, it immediately set on fire. One Mind is strengthened by holding sheathed stance(timing required).
Great Shinobi Owl
Added new attack combination, instant deathblow when your posture broken. (And grenade...)
Corrupted Monk
Overall attack speed increased and added anti air response. You can remove phantom and give massive damage with the Lazulite Axe at phase 2.

Ashina Cross now has I-frames and is strengthened by holding sheathed stance(timing required).

@@ring-a-ding6960 if you wait like 1 second in sheath during ashina cross it adds a third slash as an extra (no animation so no extra delay on third slash) .

never knew when timed right, ashina cross can be used as both evasion and attack. that was utterly beautiful. great stuff.

Everything is good so far. Instead, I have a question about the mini boss.
Do you have plan to redesign the Seven Spear? Grab attack is good, but I hope he uses the spear more flexibly. This is just my opinion :)
And... How about Juzou? Any plans to modify Juzou?

@@_ONGBAL I might change 7 spears for different variant in the future, but I dont plan on changing for now. I plan to modify juzou sooner or later as well. Right now, I want to finish up some map and sidequests. I appreciate the thanks!👍
Any plans for the Dragon?
Dragon is a weird beast to tackle, because there aren't many things that might alter the fight in a meaningful way.
Changing its attack patterns is the best I can think of.
Inner Demons tried reworking The Sakura Dragon, so you might check it out, if you're interested.
Your mod is epic as always, Ionian.
Sekiro Ressurection seems to be the most well-polished of all the mods I’ve seen for Sekiro.
It genuinely feels like a NG+ mod, where it touches up on the bosses and revives the struggle to reach perfection you deal with the first time you played it.
Not only that, but it revamps the bosses in ways that seem like a natural step forward for their moveset. Lady Butterfly’s fight in particular, has now been turned into a dance if blades an illusions unlike any seen before.
This mod is truly the best of them all.
Man, it makes me so extremely jealous of the fact I have a Ps5 and can’t install mods on it
Yeah. Other mods I see just make the bosses completely ridiculous and are just spamming attacks and the player doesn’t get a single attack in. Although, I do think Genichiro overdid it.
Love how he himself feels sorry for the bullying he did to genichiro.

The last hit on Isshin was the most beaultiful thing I ever seen in this game, congrats!
This mod + Ongbal's gameplay truly transformed this game.
The original game, which is one of the best action games ever, feels so blatant compared to this.
Crazy how with so much pressure applied, the bosses are being pushed back
Every boss after getting enhanced:
"Why do i hear Boss music ?"

Ongbal is the only guy I know who can win Guardian Ape in a hand-to-hand combat like that
You're the best ONGBAL.
I've seen many fantastic players of Sekiro, many highly skilled. But for whatever reason, they are...stuttery, if that makes sense. Their movements, offensive, defensive style isn't as smooth as yours, yours flows like clear water down a stream. And, of course, not to mention, incredibly satisfying and stylish to watch (in the face of people who say that prosthetics are not well developed).
You really take 'Hesitation is defeat' to the heart, ONGBAL.
The "prosthetics are trash" group is seemingly made up purely of people who never tried to learn the uses of prosthetics. Odd.

@@juniperrodley9843 Yeah I agree. I just recently started to use more and more prosthetic tools combining them with different combos and stuff, and honestly its a lot more fun blending the prosthetics into your fighting style.
That ashina cross was awesome.
It would have been great if there was a way we could upgrade weaker ashina cross to this in mushin arts tree in the original game.
The Mod is on a bit of a standstill now, but some more updates should come sooner or later.

Ongbal I'd like to thank you. Thanks in large part to the things I've learned from your videos I managed to conplete my first charmless demon bell run. Going to work on the mortal gauntlet next. Wish me luck.

Really appreciate that the mod took the time to improve some of the combat arts and tools on top of making bosses tougher. A lot of them felt very cool but impractical in the base game, especially since they're all competing over the same finite resource.

Criminally underrated channel
Pretty late but, have you ever thought of making a playthrough vid that's more of a lore accurate/cinematic style where it kind of reflects on Okami's growth as a warrior? Ex: first geni encounter with Okami being pretty rusty and barely able to squeeze out a bar before getting his _surgery_

I can’t imagine myself reaching to this level of gameplay, I struggle a lot to fit abilities and prosthetic tools into my combat pattern.
I just started playing the "Sekiro: Ressurection" mod, it is a great compliment to an already amazing game. That being said, this video is a masterclass in boss battles. Take notes young shinobis, truly flawless gameplay.

Hey Ongbal, i’m guessing you’re playing with a controller on PC? What type of controller are you using? I bought an Elite Series 2 and a few months of playing Sekiro caused my left bumper to fail. I got a replacement and the right bumper started failing only a few weeks in. Is there a controller you use that is durable for this level of punishment to the bumpers?
