Working with tape and paint is definitely scary sometimes. I even had that happen when I was painting baseboards in my house! Like your stash area! Things always go wrong, but how you recover is more important!
@@IcemanCollections lol yeah that reminds me i need to order a couple more shirts i got the ACME show on the 26th i gotta rep my sponsors and make um proud. Thanks for tuning in bud
The MPC Charger goes back to the time when that car was new (actually a 1966 annual, to 1967 and then reissued ever since). The Revell kit was a "new" tool in 2000, but in reality, shares all of its underpinnings and engine/drivetrain with the two other Revell '67 Mopars (GTX & Coronet) which date back to 1994. It's actually good to see that the bodies on the two Chargers are so close, means Revell got the body right thirty-four years later - ideally, they should be identical since that's the whole point of scale modeling🤪
@@niteowl7710 great info thank you. Yeah the revell body is the same size but in truth its much more detailed then the ol MPC body case in point the badging on the trunk lid was molded into the MPC but on the revell its a separate piece. Making for better detail. Thanks again for the info and thanks for tuning in
That is always my biggest fear, pulling paint. And every time I strip paint the part always seems to look weird once I redo it. Don't beat yourself up too bad. Nice save with the extra body. Hopefully this next week goes better.
@@BigSkyModelWorkshop it happens lol lesson learned but sad part is I knew better and did it anyway lol I’m sure next week will be awesome thanks for tuning in bud
@@GrandNational66 no i dont but your right i should make one. In the case of this build (67 charger) i used the V5 chassis from @icemancollections that did most of the work for me. Thanks for the idea and for tuning in
