I really am enjoying your common sense and thoughts on stages of family life. I hope a lot of young parents are watching and listening to you. Added bonus is to watch you make all of this delicious healthy food.
I really enjoyed your talk regarding having children as an investment in life and in our future. I was just having a similar talk with my adult daughter regarding this topic. She sees the pervasive evil in our world today and thinks it's better to not have kids but I explained otherwise to her. We need children that are raised well and in the Lord for the future of the world. It's a good thing! "Children are a blessing from The Lord" 🙏 I want to make those corn chips, so tasty looking!! 🙂
@@annamccosker7878 thank you! I agree it could be scary but what better way to make a change than to do it yourself? Many blessings to you and your family. 🤍
I recently found your page and started following and watching all your old videos! I love them! I saw some recipes with cornmeal that I want to make but don’t want to buy cornmeal at the store. This video taught me I can grind up some old popcorn kernels I have! Can’t wait to try it ❤ You remind me of Ballerina Farm- but better because you make more detailed thorough videos! 😊
I greet you from Ecuador It is very nice to watch your videos Is it possible that you suggest books on natural medicine? I am a young housewife and mother and I am very interested in learning every day how to lead a more natural life. grace and peace
Here are my 2 cents. I have never had the opportunity to try raw milk, but my parents probably were brought up on it. I see nothing wrong with having that be an option at stores. I agree getting away from all the processed and fast food is so much better for your health. I try to 'let food by thy medicine' and seek out more homeopathic treatments. Public schools are NOT what they were when I grew up. Teachers could enact consequences when you disrupted the class, but not now! The standards have gone way down, wanting to pass each child with no failure. Some parents treat it as free daycare. I do understand the reasoning behind home schooling, my oldest sister did it, but I worry that all parents are not qualified to do it so should seek out help if this is the route they want for their children. You brought up a lot of great points in this chat and hope your young mom subscribers try some of them. There are so many free resources available to people, they just need to seek them out. That's my controversial opinion. Thanks for sharing yours, Alexa.
@@lorrem2539 it’s a great opinion! I agree. ☝🏻 homeschooling allows a lot more flexibility when it comes to the families schedule and the children’s needs. It’s too hard to cater to all the kids in one classroom. I think our kids will do better under our roof with the experiences of our family and other adults/children in our area doing real life practical learning. Also with the entire woke thing going on right now, I’m not sure I even trust what is being taught in the classroom even if they have the best teachers in the world.
@@TheDuvallHomestead I am a traditional Catholic, meaning we practice the faith prior to Vatican 2 and all its modern errors. As a mother of 3 and a grandma to two, my wisdom is, God must be the center of your home. If you want lots of babies and expect return, it is vital to raise them in the traditional faith! We did not always live a devout life, and our older two children are of this world. Our youngest, whom we did raise in the faith wants to be a priest. My older two went to public school, my youngest was homeschooled. I have seen the fruit. So have lots of little ones but raise them to know, love and serve God, and raise them yourself, not the world . Your return will be infinite! 🥰

How long did you cook the cabbage? I’ve never made it this way.
@@0JReynolds about 20 min each side, or until the bacon was cooked and crispy. It was SO good!
