Hi! I found your channel when I was researching rod pocket curtains. I love your videos and so appreciate your encouragement to enjoy being a wife and mom. My 3 girls are grown now, but I still love making a home for my husband and myself. I have some ideas for leftover chicken. One is to make a soup called Cock-a-leekie Soup. It is Scottish. We have adapted it a bit. You chop up an onion and a couple of leeks (white parts) and saute them. Then add 6 cups broth, leftover chicken, and a couple of peeled, chopped potatoes. (The potatoes are our addition. ) It cooks up fast. Get the potatoes soft, add salt and pepper to taste, and you have a wonderful soup!
You’re right - we can all use this reminder. I’m 50 and my children are grown now, but this is still an applicable wise word. Thank you! New subscriber. ❤ xo
Crack your eggs however you please, scrape your veggies with whatever part of the knife you want, and give that chicken a bubble bath if you choose! 😅You’re obviously well skilled in your kitchen and your children and husband are being fed. Keep it up.😉 I found you due to my new love of Einkorn… excited to watch more of your videos. 💛
Here is another idea for leftover chicken. Especially if you also have leftover baked potatoes too. Make a hash. Chop onion and garlic and saute them. Add in your chicken and chopped baked potatoes and a tablespoon or so of oil. Press it all down in the skillet and let it brown on one side. Then flip it and brown the other side. Bit of salt. Very tasty!!
Love the look of the Quince bedding! They have some beautiful colors. Last year we did chili in a pumpkin and loved it! I never thought to do individual small pumpkins. How fun!
Yesterday I ran a day of errands. Came home to my daughters dog that got sick on our sofa. I had to take the covers off a wash them, putting them back on (damp) was a chore with my sore elbow. Today I’m going to be mostly a steward to my bed. I enjoy ur relaxing videos.
Quick question if you don’t mind… do you store your Einkorn at room temp on your counter? I’ve been storming the bag in my freezer I thought maybe it has a shorter shelf life? But if not I totally want to keep it on the counter in my flour jar. Thanks!
@@becomingbethany I absolutely keep mine on the counter in a jar next to my regular all purpose flour. It’s not like it sits for months at a time though, we use it pretty quickly!
@@TheDuvallHomestead Excellent! Thank you! I think that’s my fear… since I’m still so new with Einkorn I’ve worried that I won’t use it up enough… but I think I’d use it more if I saw it everyday!

Please crack your eggs on the counter, not the edge of your bowl, pan, or jar. You'll never get egg shells in your pan! Also, always scrape your veggies or meat with the back of your knife off your cutting board 🔪 It will save your knives blade sharpness 🙏🏻✝️😇📿✨️💓✨️💓

I've heard from many that you are not supposed to rinse your chicken.
@@AZJH8374 you have to be careful that juices and water don’t splatter.
