I bought the Leopard Betty in Small. It’s my first Betty because I wasn’t sure how much I would like it. Well, I am in love! I think I want to get the Navy next so I’ll probably size down for that given it runs large. I do wish they would do the plain black with gold buttons for something a bit dressier.
I have the Rym shirt in white and I love wearing it. It really is so pretty and a statement piece!

I also bought the animal print Betty and sized up for a slouchier look. I love it. I got the brown Sonnie and Naelle but returned them. The skirt was not quite right. I liked the Sonnie but decided to keep a brown cashmere cardigan I ordered elsewhere instead.. I will be in NYC early December and am looking forward to checking out the Sézane store. How nice!! 🤎🐆🤎 loving the leopard print too! Naelle is not for me, I had it in two colors and almost didn’t reach for it. I love on others though. At this price point, best to keep only what we’re feeling 100%! I love cashmere 🤎 so soft and luxurious, perfect for the season! Hope you have a wonderful time in New York!! The Sezane store is small but they normally have some good stuff - just so you know, if you don’t see something you’re looking for, you can ask them to check in the back room ♥️ they have a secret room haha

I have a bit of a self-control problem when it comes to the Betty cardigans! The Paula Babies in the cream and black are back! I missed them last time around, but just ordered them when they were restocked, yay! I did buy that beautiful pastel floral print in the Dune skirt, it has absolutely my best and favorite colors. I also got the sea green Barry(?) V-neck cardigan, which looks great with it. But, I’m saving this outfit for early spring, we have a long, cool one here and it will be fun to pull it out in March.

Just ordered a Hazelnut color Betty (partly because of your strong recommendation), and a Dune skirt, Merveille print. Looking to trying them on! These were to replace another Sezane order that got lost in shipment - first time that has happened.

I agree about the Betty in a bigger size. I ordered the size small in navy crochet, and returned for a medium. There was gapping on the chest area for me with the small. ❤ I am normally a small to medium.
Right? I used to get mine in Small too and I think it’s fine, looks ok, but I just LOVE it more oversized! ☺️❤️

I sold the 2 I had and returned the bottle green one! Haha Likely returning the brown too, I only ordered because I wanted to share a video (I was originally interested in Sonnie, the matching cardigan).
I was curious about the Martin crop in the new colour Hazelnut, because I love the fit on my 5'3 frame. But the colours they have in it are not the typical neutrals. I am waiting for them to offer in more colours and more cropped fits in general. I did order and will have to decide if it will be versatile piece in my closet. Thanks for the review Mila! 🎉
It’s a lovely color and I almost got one to try! I wasn’t sure if the color would be that versatile in my wardrobe though. I saw it in one of the Sezane groups and the color in real life looks just like you see on the website. I hope they make it in more colors too - a camel, beige, grey…would be wonderful ❤️
Just collected my leopard print Betty and love it! Everything looks beautiful on you, the Rym shirt is stunning (one of the assistant was wearing the white version), a couple of people were trying on Valerio in khaki and it looked good. Have you bought another pair of Damiano trousers?! They fit you perfectly.
3:53 never thought I’d say this because I usually don’t like brown, but keep the brown one. It’s a nice shade, and it suits you best.

I think you should also try other types of tops or clothes outside of your comfort zone. I feel like I only see Betty's in different colors and the set with the midi skirt in different colors too.

Actually Naelle is sooo out of my comfort zone that I sold the 2 I had and returned the last green and this too (only got the brown because I wanted to try Sonnie, which I never tried before ). I really dislike midi skirts on me, I mentioned that quite a few times.
Honestly, I have a super versatile personal style and you’ll see me wearing casual clothes, dressy, classic, edgy, romantic, tomboy style… so, being out of my comfort zone would be wearing something like neon, tight tiny dresses, sheer, super colorful florals 🤣 can’t think of anything else out of my comfort zone, honestly. I’m curious if you watched my latest videos, I have reviewed over 40 Sézane pieces in the past few months, definitely not only Betty /Naelle.😉
@milainnewyork I am a big fan of yours I have watched all your videos not only the sezane content. I love your style and how thorough you are with you reviews. I know you don't like midi skirts I don't like them on me either even though I adore them on other people I can't pull them off. About the Betty's maybe because I don't like them and i am bias and getting on my nerves seeing them in each video lol. I know you tried a lot of different pants and different knits appreciate it I just don't want to see any Betty's in different colors I would not find any new information that i dont know about the fit ect.if you understand what I mean. About the content I have already mentioned it I would love to know like each month what you actually kept from your purchases and why.❤️

I also bought the Sonnie Cardigan in size S. I like the more fitted look, I am always between sizes (S and M) so I was hoping it would fit, and thankfully it did!
I also bought the Flix jumper in MERVEILLE and the Martin crop trousers in Hazelnut. The first time I don't need to return a thing lol. I think the Martin crop is curve friendly, but the fabric is heavy (I remember that you prefer a lighter fabric). They pockets aren't real though with bummed me a lot, but besides that they are beautiful!
I wanted to ask, how "yellow" is the Maha in Ecru? If white is too yellow it looks "dirty" on my skin tone, I prefer true white but I can get away with some Ecru tones

I have Felix in leopard print from last year, it’s a great knit and the merveille print is so beautiful! The Martin you got is the same composition and fit of the green one I reviewed a few weeks ago. I love the fit, fabric and definitely curvy friendly (one of my favorite pants from Sézane)! The pockets are real ☺️ - check inside the garment, you’ll see it’s an actual pocket. You have to open it though, just remove the stitching from the area you’d normally put your hands in

@@hadasgold6511 haha I know right? Some of their pants come like that! I do it myself, if you’re gentle, nothing will happen. There’s a sewing tool to do that, but you can do with small scissors to cut the first stitching and then do with your own hand the rest. It should come off easily after the first stitching pops. I wouldn’t pay someone to do that, but if you are not gentle enough, maybe it would be best 🤣

I wear a long-sleeved silk knit tee under my Betties worn as tops, inevitably I’ll overheat at some point and will need to remove the cardigan. This way, I’m silk decently dressed and don’t have to hide away in my bra until I cool down. Menopause is such a pain!
You don’t like wearing Betty on your bare skin? :) Or maybe a sleeves silk top? Betty is one of the few knits I wear with just a cami top because it’s not itchy (instead of a long sleeve top). I feel super hot sometimes in it too, indoors!

I tried the Betty cardigan in navy but I didn't like it on me. I'm a size M but I have a large chest and I find that it creates unsightly openings on the chest.
I'm thinking of taking the leopart in size L instead for an oversized effect. What do you think ?
I also like the VELERIO jacket but I don't know if I take M or L. I'm lost because I have a large chest.

I ordered the purple because I couldn’t stop thinking about it, I like it even more than the blue but I feel it would be harder to style (with my wardrobe) and it’s also easier to stain 😩 I have no clue what I’m going to do! Which one do you like more? Also the purple didn’t fit as well as the blue, the cut was different 😅

Is the Valerio warm enough to wear as a jacket in like 40-50F degree weather outside? Or is it more of a jacket you wear inside if you are chilly?
Honestly, I am always cold 🥶 so I would say no haha
If you’re resistant to the cold, maybe if you wear a thermal + cashmere knit, you can wear Valerio when it’s 50 or a little colder, but personally I would never do if it’s 40 degrees out there. It’s thick and warm but not to that point in my opinion.

You should keep Maha in brown it is more interesting rhan ecru.

Hi Mila, I have a question that I hope you can help me with. I'm 5'6" I weigh 133. I usually get a size 6 in US pants and in US tops a small or medium depending on how I want it to fit. I'm placing my first Sezane order. I ordered the Gaspard cardigan in medium but I have no idea what size to get the Chloe blouse in. I just want a normal fit. Not to fitted but not real over sized either. What size would you suggest for me? Hope you can help.Ty so much.
Hi Mary! :) Did you receive your Gaspard yet? I sized down for mine, I’m normally size Small /4 and I got XS for all my Gaspards. What’s your bust measurement? It might be easier to help you figure out the size if I know your bra size or bust measurement. Based on height and weight I would say size 4 or 6 for Chloe shirt, but that really depends on your bust size I think.
@@milainnewyork I haven't ordered the Gaspard yet I was just getting my order ready. I was going to get the Gaspard in a medium but I will now get a small. I'm a 36C bra size. When it says 4, 6, 8 etc. Is that in US? sizing. I was confused because I thought that was European sizing. Ty beyond words for the fast response.
@@marycosgrove1587 Yes that’s US sizing - size 2 means 34 French or XS, size 4 is 36 or S and size 6 is 38 or M☺️ I think the Medium Gaspard could work for you if your bust is 36C! It depends on how you like the fit, it might feel slightly more oversized if you take the M. :) Most people size down, but if you want to wear something underneath, or just prefer the slouchy feel, the M might be the best option. Gaspard tends to stretch a bit when you wear a few times though, so keep that in mind. I have a few and have tried other colors, I like the XS the best (I’m a true Small for tops and sweaters, 36B bra, 87cm bust). The thing with Sezane is that sometimes even the same size might look different 🥲 I tried recently the Damiano pants in size 4, one fit me and the other didn’t. I would take Chloe in 38 if I were you, that’s size 6 US :) Chloe is true to size, Sezane recommends taking your usual size or sizing up if you’re between sizes. Hope this helps ❤️

Advise pl, I’m looking at the sezane Carlo. There is only a 2 and 6. I wanted a 4. If it were for you what would you get. We are similar sizes. For example I have the Christie in a 6 and I sh have got a for is big
Carlo is true to size, I have it in size 4. If I had to choose based on my measurements, I’d size down and not up. Sezane advises to size down if you’re between sizes, but if you are not comfortable with size 2 or never wear it, it might be too small for you? I think both sizes might work, but a 6 you’d be able to layer with a thicker knit. The size 2 you might be limited to wear with shirts or thinner knits

Midi skirts look sooooo much better on you then those short skirts. Maybe you should size up in the short ones, because they always go up on your hips. And honestly, you mention this very often that you have an issue with stuff too wide on your waist. Wear cardigans over it and do not tuck in. This wa nobody sees this gap and it only exists in your imagination. I wish I would have your body shape! Love handles are way more difficult to deal with. LG Petra
I only mention often because there’s new people on the channel, not because I think it’s a flaw on my body 😉 I love my body and wouldn’t change anything in it! I will demonstrate one day how “throwing a cardigan over it” doesn’t work on my body type. Tucking it in is the best way to wear boxy/oversized clothes when you have hourglass shape (that’s not just me saying), but something anyone who works in the fashion industry would agree with ❤️ The way we wear clothes should work for us, so even if 100 people say that you look great in midi skirts and you don’t feel great in midi skirts, you should still wear what YOU feel comfortable in. There’s a lot of trends and styles out there that are not my personal style, so I remain wearing the ones I love and feel the best. Again, I love my body shape and never commented on it in a negative way, I repeat about my waist/hips for reference to those who need help regarding sizing xx Have a wonderful Sunday!
