Warrior King is what Thor in the MCU should have been. An honorable warrior with a likable personality. Not a frat boy douche played by an even bigger one. In fact, Warrior King was so likeable, that I accepted his romance with Chun Li. He was a good man, and worthy of her.

He showed up in Street Fighter, Savage Dragon, Wild C.A.T.S., and even Mortal Kombat. Yes, you had the link for an actual Street Fighter/Mortal Kombat crossover.
Actually he showed up in Wing Commander Academy not Wild C.A.T.S. though his appearance in MK was extremely brief and unmentioned since that episode focused more on the Orb and Shang Tsung's return.
Considering this was a capcom series and that the warrior king started out here, it might actually be based on magic sword, as some elements are similar to the game (The orb, the hero)
