As Jeff said. You've made the job seem approachable for the home enthusiast. Good job well done. Thanks for sharing.

A job which to some may seem difficult - but with your explanation and video made it look simple for anyone to tackle.

i’m Hi Jeff great video again! your right on target with a good easy to listen to style and loaded with valuable nuances..
Can I ask would this bearing cause a symptom that felt like the clutch lever operation had failed ie. pull the lever to the bar but little to no resistance and no clutch plate operation!?
I’ve been told there is a ‘jet’ somewhere that can be bored out or replaced but not sure, well beyond my pay grade but just wondered if you had any thoughts? ( why would a clutch even have a ‘jet’?)..
Anyhoo TIA and please please keep making the videos, very enjoyable Aprilla porn😂

There is a jet that sprays oil and it can be enlarged I have several apes and I have not carried this job out on any , to select neutral is a trick of correct chain tension and correct oil 15/50 semi.
If the release bearing was failing you may feel judder in the lever when pulling and releasing.
If you have no resistance in the lever look at the slave for leaks the OEM is fine and the seals are peanuts to buy or the master might be air locked had that before burp pipes etc and check seals .
The only other problem I've had one would go into gear but the clutch would slip on inspection it was roughness on the clutch rod slave end just cleaned up and a little grease good as new I hope these help you sorry for going off at a tangent .
If I was a betting man your problem sounds like the clutch needs bleeding .
If the release bearing was to let go all those balls and races will be whizzing around the engine internals and we definitely don't want that to happen .

Thanks for taking the time to reply, the problem is strangely intermittent but having now checked underneath the slave there is a slight wetting. so seals maybe it👍🏻
Do you have a favourite parts source/supplier?
All that left is for my dash to stop sporadically dieing :)
3 months in and I still like the Ape challenge 😂

@@pardonwhat I will have a look tonight when home but people change the slave but there's nothing wrong with the OEM one it's just a couple of square rings and some red grease .
My advice is to fill the slave up with fluid and bleed from the slave up to the reservoir you might have to crack the Bango fitting they like to trap air there .easy job for anybody .

Also if your dash is dying take the fairing nose cone of and disconnect the connection to clocks I should think a bit of corrosion is in there clean up and buy some dielectric grease and smear over connections .
And check the wiring to clocks for Knicks etc .
