- After a long time of complaining about abdominal pain and being ignored by doctors, the proper testing was finally ordered. I learned that I had cancer from my review of a CT scan and there were many tumors. I have cancer and I’m scared. I hope to take everyone along with me on my journey to find a cure.

Can’t believe this beautiful soul lost her battle only 6 months after this video 😢
This video became 1 year today😢
Its crazy. Sometimes you see this cancer vlogs where they happen over a period of 7 years and the person is still alive. Other times like this, it happens so fast. My guess is she let the pain go on for way too long without being diagnosed. People need to learn from her mistakes and get yourself checked out if you're having random pain that does NOT go away after a few months, especially when its abdominal or lower back. Get it checked out people!
@@KarnageKollectiblesAwesome advice ❤ Thank you..I didn't know she passed away..I just found her..she seems like a beautiful soul..❤ I just wanted to support her 😢
@@KarnageKollectiblesThe tragedy is that she did seek help. Unfortunately the physicians brushed her off.
@@KarnageKollectiblesyes doctors will try and convince us it’s all in our heads. Demand you get tests done!
I think patients should be able to sue doctor that continuously make misdiagnosis
I agree! I have MS and was misdiagnosed for the first 2 1/2 years. I now have permanent damage that caused me to be disabled because I went untreated for so long. Had I been treated correctly from the start I could have be living a normal life. I’m so tired of doctors not believing us and being told something is in my head. That’s not the only time it’s happened to me either. So sad and frustrating.
Absolutely right! There needs to be some type of advocacy, awareness speaking out, against making a public aware, that we as people who are afflicted with these illnesses trust our doctors to diagnosis and most doctors don’t pay attention! They shrug it off as this they shrug it off as that! In my husband’s case with pancreatic cancer it took them over 15 years to diagnose him!! He went to the doctor and many doctors over again with complaining of issues of heartburn and middle stomach pain in back pain in a little bit of nausea fatigue and digestive issues and they never diagnosed him properly they always said ulcer acid reflux gets poor diet it’s stress! They should be able to be sued specially when you went to 7 Different doctors over 15 years and none of them got it right! Until the day that the tumor was so huge and his stools were nearly white and his pee was like tea and he was jaundice! That’s what it took for somebody to run some test and diagnosed him properly! And on top of that, the doctor that diagnosed him was a retired doctor that was filling in for his original MD!! I’m still furious today, four years later after he passed 😤
I work in healthcare and its either two extremes people like her are dismissed and then others may get a million dollar work up for no reason.
Zero liability for V A X injuries over the past 2 years. Patients are being killed off with the cut, poison and burn treatments for cancer faster than the cancer itself. Many of us are waking up to the the harm wielded by medical psychopaths.
I agree people should sued doctors.
I'm sick of these doctors that don't take patients seriously , it's bs , they are literally getting paid to help people and can't even do it
This poor beautiful woman was treated wrong in so many ways god rest her soul
These doctors have alot to answer for...many of them are unfit for purpose...Beautiful lady such a sad loss.
***** Tip for anyone trying to get their doctor to investigate something they're worried about. If you ask for ANY test and the doctor refuses ask the doctor directly to DOCUMENT their refusal in writing in your medical chart. If they refuse to do this then go into your patient portal and send a note to the Dr. saying that you requested this test and it was refused on whatever date you talked with the Dr about it. Any Dr. with half a brain will realize this could be setting them up for a malpractice lawsuit. Guess what? Your chances of getting that test are a whole lot better than before you made them put their refusal in writing.
I will remember this thank you and I wrote it down
This is a good tip
Exactly. I now she's no longer here. 😢
Thank you Deirdre Kiely,
Excellent tip for the US and countries with paid medical service, but I'm skeptical this would lead to much in Canada.😕
My daughter works in a big hotel where they have celebs and high end clients.. This week its surgeons.. She said shes never met such an entilted bunch of people in her life.. No people skills what so ever.. No manners and want treating like gods.. Ive lost mum and dad and husband now due to medical experts telling them its nothing to worry about.. We know our own bodies and i think doctors don't like us being right..
Your story mirrored my own in many ways. Two years of constant pain and the doctors didn't believe me. It was at times excruciating pain. Eventually got a real diagnosis -- five pound tumor. Ovarian cancer. Got treatment, was told I was fine and within six months was diagnosed with 4th stage bone cancer. My sister-in-law came to care for me during chemo and radiation and kept saying to me, "don't worry - a few years from now this will be a blip on your radar." I held on to that belief. I'm in my fifth year of remission after being told I had two weeks to live. You can do this! It's not fun. It's a huge personal challenge. You will be in my thoughts. And when you come out the other side it will become a blip on the radar of your life.
I LOVE THIS!!! Thank you so much for sharing your experience because I really draw on the success stories like yours. During the days that I get bad news, I focus on these things to refocus and continue the fight!
Pain is real, but people discount a pain COMPLAINER… what?? Attention seekers? BS
@@MyCancerJourneyMaria. I subscribed. I’m sorry of what you’re going through can you please tell us if it’s small cell cancer or non-small cell cancer I have stage for non-small cell lung cancer.Adenocarcinoma .. could you please tell us how fast it metastasized how many months did it take for it to go to another organ and thank you for all that you’re doing so that people don’t have to waste their time trying to find out how long they’re going to live or when it’s gonna go to the brain or the next Oregon we would really appreciate you telling us that. I learned to rarely listen to doctors...they don't know YOUR body...that is why the call it, PRACTICING MEDICINE.
I’m a cancer survivor 10 years now ..I know exactly how you are feeling and what you are going through ..stay strong and be positive my prayers are with you xx❤xx .
Thank you so much. Congratulations on your recovery!
It's truly mind-blowing how a DOCTOR can tell a woman with CANCER that the pain is in her head!! I know the doctor didn't know she had cancer, but it's not as if she was seeking pain meds.
Rest easy, sweet angel!!
RIGHT?!?!?! 😡 I'm really sorry you had to go through all of that. I've learned you have to be your own advocate.
Its typically a male Dr thing!
Same happend to my mother....she had constant pain in her left leg, test show nothing Dr.told her it is all in her head and after 5 attempt keep on pushing doctor on further test because pain wasnt go away he said her that Will send her in mental hospital if she come again...when finnaly because obviouse her phisical aperrance detoration that something is wrong another tests shows metastatical cancer on her spine verberae witch allready has spread all over her body...we buried her couple of months later.
I’m sorry this has happened to you, it makes me angry when Doctors don’t listen to their patients.. please keep in touch with us so we can follow your journey..prayers from California 💕
I appreciate your prayers. I'm very happy now to have a team of doctors who listen to me, take the time to answer all of my questions and only want to make me better.

Ovarian cancer needs to be ruled out when all females complain of abdominal pain. You were gaslighted by the doctors. We need more women doctors. Maria, I just found you tonight. I will be listening to all of your videos and follow your journey. Most hospitals have specialized cancer support groups. There is a ton of knowledge in those groups. The people there often know more than the providers.
Not a fault of the gender of the doctor, but fundamental training.
Maria passed way not long ago. She was very brave. May she rest in peace.
I understand why you would say that but usually whatever is causing the pain is typically not cancer. But certainly women after a certain age need to be examined much more closely.
Abdominal pain is very common. And it's the area which is most prone to psychosomatic pain, as the stomach functions as an emotional hub, it's why you get "butterflies" in your stomach etc.
It's a sad fact but medical tests are expensive and time-consuming, and Doctors don't like providing them unless there's good reason. It's all about money. Meanwhile, the rich can pay for annual, full body health checkups.
This is exactly what happened to my mother n law. A year ago she had a scan and it the results were NOT cancer and we didn't seek a 2nd opinion. A year later and new and more symptoms surface. A 2nd scan shows a spider web of cancer that had spread from her throat, to her thyroid, and now lungs. We JUST found this out yesterday. Thank you so much for sharing your story
The cancer fight have no been there in the scan. Some cancers grow rapidly. Like days can it can grow bigger and bigger
I'm a cancer survivor and I'm rooting for you!!
Thank you so much! I’m so happy your treatment was successful!
Its so frustrating hear of Physicians that don't listen to their patients and results in much later diagnosis where there is time for it to spread and grow. So sorry to hear your news.
So sorry you were dismissed by your doctor, as an RN that makes me angry , I am praying and wishing you well .. hugs
These "doctors" need to be punished, in my humble opinion. My mother was diagnosed with stage III C of ovarian cancer and the doctors were quite negligent too, but I have to tell you that my mother is free of cancer for around 8 years now. So be strong, positive, look at what you are eating and drinking, go organic, drink green tea, eat turmeric and tons of veggies, leave sugar and do some sports. You can do it dear!!!! 💪💪💪🙌🙌
What great news - you must be so relieved that she beat the odds! I would love to do sports, unfortunately, my body is not working the same way it did before this. I was very active and one of the most frustrating things for me is the loss of my ability to be as active as I previously was. I would love to be able to workout or go on a long hike and marvel once I reach the summit. That certainly would help my stress levels 🙂
Well, there will be a day you will be able to do it again! 😉
Doctors who dismiss women's symptoms as psychological infuriate me.
I'm a cancer survivor AND a Bostonian! If I can help in any way, just say the word!
Thank you!! I heard that Boston will be lighting the bridges teal on September 17 for ovarian cancer awareness month. Looking forward to seeing that!
Sometimes DOCTORS can just aggravate the situation. You are stressed because you know there is something wrong and just because they can't find the problem they tell the patient you're not really sick, seriously. They blame the patient! OMG, that is not okay!
Be your own advocate and don't back down! Get a 2nd opinion too if you feel uncertain. Thank you for posting. Sorry you went through that and hope everything else will go ahead smoothly.
Thank you so much. I am finally in the hands of a provider that takes all of my concerns seriously and I feel very well taken care of. It's so sad that this seems to happen to so many people repeatedly.
I hate misdiagnosis so much. Doctors tend to misdiagnose younger female patients with other things, all while telling them that they are wrong. I’ve been looking at all the cancer journeys on RUclips, and yours instantly struck me due to the misdiagnosis. Keep fighting, you got this!
It wasn't just a missed diagnosis, the Dr dismissed her, as Drs often do!
Doctors always say everything is indigestion. They told my dad the same thing and 2 days later he died from cardiac arrest. 😞
I just found this channel. I am so terribly sorry for this lady & her family. May her soul be elevated and she rest in peace with no more pain.
I had just the opposite experience went to the er with leg pain and some burning during urinating. I thought maybe pinched nerve and uti or kidney stones. Was immediately tested and had ct scan. I was diagnosed stage 4 metastatic prostate cancer march4. I’m pretty sure every dr in the hospital came in to give advice and treatment plan not sure if I’ll make it but Cleveland clinic is giving me a fighting chance. God speed to you and your recovery hopefully you have a great support system.✝️
I’m so sorry you’re going through this. We must all be our own advocates because only we know our bodies and if something is wrong. I’m a retired nurse and the only other thing I would do is to make sure my Gynecology exams are up to date. I will keep you in my prayers🙏🏻
Thank you very much!
I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer stage 4 on March 28 I had my first chemo on Monday. Tuesday was fine today is Wednesday and I woke up with severe stomach cramps. I am also disabled and live in a group home I took Tylenol on top of my pain pills this morning and have pills for nausea if I get nausea. I had blood work,CT scan, chest xray then an Invasive CT scan and ten hours later the diagnosis came. I go to hope cancer center in Asheville nc and they are very supportive there so far. Happy i found your blog..

I’m so so sorry for results!! You have been trying to get help😮
I’m so sorry. May God bless you and comfort you.
Thank you so much, your prayers help me find strength.
I hope you follow up with that doctor that implied that this was all in your head. These lazy doctors need to be put in their place. So sorry you have to deal with this. Best of luck to you.
The Doctor who told me it was all in my head will find out exactly how wrong he was in due time- I just need to focus right now on recovery. If he just did what he was supposed to, this would have been caught earlier and I would’ve received treatment earlier. I just hope he hasn’t hurt any other women.
I had uterine cancer last year and underwent a radical hysterectomy. I was lucky in the sense that my symptom was obvious (vaginal bleeding post menopause). It makes me so angry when doctors brush off symptoms especially when its suggested that they are in our heads or that a patient is too young. Ovarian cancer can present in so many ways and at different ages. Why don't they investigate for ovarian cancer first through MRI's, CT scans etc? If it's not ovarian cancer, then treat for something else.
You bring up a good point. I suspect the insurance companies don't want to pay for the MRIs and CT scans. However, given the fact that the symptoms associated with ovarian cancer are also associated with late-stage cancer, I would think that imaging is a small cost to pay as compared to a life and the cost of the treatments I am receiving now.
Your primary care doctor did ultimately order a CT scan, that found your cancer.. The thing for women to do, is if your primary care doctor tells you you're okay, and you still have symptoms, go to your ob-gyn. You can have an ultra-sound there, which can easily find ovarian or uterine abnormalities. Primary care doctors do not have ultra-sound available in their offices. And because ovarian cancer is relatively rare, striking only one in eighty women, a primary care doctor is going to think in terms of GI ailments, like irritable bowel syndrome, etc, which are so much more common. Ob-gyn's are going to think in terms of cancer, much faster.
My prayers are with. May God heal you and give you the comfort to need.
I’m a Cancer survivor myself I know your struggles and frustration and I’m praying for you. Everything that you are feeling I’ve been through. I’m here for you if you need to talk.💕❤️💕❤️

That’s great news! Ovarian cancer is the deadliest gynecological cancer, so any victory must be celebrated! It also provides hope in the midst of a grim diagnosis.
Most doctors are so dismissive , based on my own experience, it's so wrong , wish you all the best, ❤ trust yourself and what your body tells you , may god blesses you ,courage

2022 and these doctors were/are still misdiagnosing? This case sounds like negligence from their side. R.I.P lady.
So sorry you are going through this. Thank you for sharing this very personal part of your life with us. You will help others.
Stay strong ur a beautiful and wonderful person, never forget that
Thank you so much!
Here in France, we seem to have the opposite problem. Every minor symptom seems to end with you being sent for a barrage of tests and scans. You can end up waiting for test results for most of your waking hours and can be very stressful. I cannot imagine being in the position of presenting with serious symptoms and not being sent for testing immediately.
I also have just read of her passing. I have asked for years (to myself) why we have to see these doctors that dismiss us and treat us like we're whining or making a big deal out of nothing. I currently have postmenopausal bleeding after 10 years of menopause. Could be nothing, but will be seeing another NEW GYN in less than 2 weeks. I am already preparing to be brushed off and dismissed. How sick is that? My internal medicine doctor is more caring, but she doesn't do GYN exams. So I'll go see this one and if I feel like things are off I'll go back to my internal med doctor and push for care.
Don't let the doctor brush you off. Stand up for yourself. You need a GYN, PCPs don't always monitor for GYN diseases.
@@deirdrekiely6187 To update, I did feel that I got a good GYN this time, I was sent for ultrasound, then had D&C and I have uterine cancer. I have already seen my GYN oncologist, had a CT today and scheduled for hysterectomy in 3 weeks.
Sending prayers for best treatment and healing
Thank you so much. Every facet of my life is now dedicated to beating it, whether it is my treatment, medication, self-care, exercise or anything else that would support healing.

Such a common situation of women saying that something is wrong and being totally brushed aside and gaslighted by doctors. I am sorry this is happening to you, and I will definitely be tuning in to see how you're getting on.
Maybe doctors should be criminally charged when they make these life threatening mistakes.. like some others professions are... they would be more cautious in their diagnosis and test further. Why are they allowed to make these negligent mistakes with no repercussions?
Thank you for sharing this I will pray for you. I’m glad you’re going to a world rebound cancer center. I’m sure that they will help you process this and explain your condition. she died in February 11, 2023
I get mad when i hear stories like this.. sad to hear she has passed..
two years of abdominal pain.. that is way to long to go without diagnosis.
My Dad had Barrets Esophagus an illness linked with cancer. Supposedly he had annual checks for just this.
After he began finding it difficult to swollow he went to the doc and they did tests and got the horrible news he had esophageal cancer, terminal.
He was given 2 years which was about right.
I find it hard to believe this cancer just popped up and spread that severely between checks but what can you do? Not that it would change anything.
There are so many things I wish I had said. He raised myself and 2 siblings on his own and I feel I took this for granted now realizing just how much he dedicated to giving us a good life.
I regret not taking his offers to go camping during the summer thinking I can do that anytime.
Cancer sucks.
I hope if her family is reading this they have sued this doctor for malpractice by now since their misdiagnosis resulted in her death. It's not about being litigious it's about some kind of justice. RIP to this young lady
God Bless you…. I hope you go back to the doctors who kept assuring you all was well. They need to look at your eyes and realize they should have heard you, and dug deeper. It may prevent others from going thru what you are. Having said this, I persisted for several months like you did, and demanded an MRI. They said they couldn’t because there was nothing wrong with me. But I insisted there was. The best they could do was give me a core needle biopsy which came back positive for cancer. I pray for you. So much can be done. Seems every week there are incredible advances. Use every arrow in the quiver your treatment center gives you. Keep exercising. It is very effective in the fight. As someone said to me back then, “you are a bad-ass warrior now!” God Bless You!!!
💕💕
It seems like a recurring theme. You were so lucky to get that biopsy. Hopefully you are now cancer free!
In remission, 9 years. Don’t know if doctors even use cancer free words. But they said, we poisoned it, cut it out of you. At some point we have to hope we killed it. ( I do take an “anti cancer” pill which is another weapon. And they test and scan me every six months, for which I am grateful.
always pull out your phone & say *_"huh? what, was that? i wasnt recording Dr - it is in my head is it? talk into the phone, so i can remember later"_* . bc a missed diagnosis will ruin a career. always dbl check things w the pt community. they know different things to the Drs. you nvr get the full picture w the Drs alone. gr8 vid. thx for sharing. =) _JC

Came across your channel and thank you for sharing such a personal journey!
You’re welcome. In a way, it’s also therapeutic for me.
I think doctors don’t pay as much attention to women’s health complaints as much as they do to their male patients. My Mother had ovarian cancer in the 70’s and I can remember the doctor thinking it was her gallbladder. She had her gallbladder removed which was unnecessary. I’ve lived with a chronic Leukemia for almost 14 years. I had a male Oncologist until he moved from the area, and now I have a female Oncologist. I know many people won’t agree with me, but through the years, I have found women doctors are better listeners.
I’m sending you well wishes and a speedy recovery.🌸
Wow, a year ago I also had my gallbladder removed as well because it was thought it was the cause of my pain. If only I knew then. I'm hopeful that my ovarian cancer can be like your leukemia - treated as a chronic condition that allows me to live my life.
May God Bless You!
My love goes out to you, I have great admiration for doctors but they are not Gods and in young people they write a lot of cancer diagnosis or even thoughts of cancer right off the book.

Im sorry to hear this, you can do this! Its also chilling hearing how little progress is made in this field, a woman i knew a decade ago from England started having abdominal pain right after her firm sent her to Dubai to work for a year. She also got brushed off when she kept going back to doctors, with reasons like ah its just your body reacting to the different climate and other things, never got properly checked out before the pain continued when she came back home
Yes Doctors r not God! The grave yards r full of there mistakes 😢
We all have to be advocates for ourselves n keep going if one does not do it go to another n then another until we find out the problem!

Thank you so much Shirley. I’m sorry you also had a similar experience. Hopefully you are on your way to recovery or recovered.

Thank you so much ☺️
RIP .... 😞
Doctors teach women to be dismissive of symptoms. I was completely dismissive of symptoms that clearly were heart failure and kidney disease. I was told my tests were all normal but they actually were not. My Dr just didn't think the problems on the tests were worth addressing. So I spent 5 years not changing my diet, not exercising not keeping up with weight and before I knew it I had TEN pounds of fluid in my body. I'm so sorry you were dismissed . It's so wrong.
WHY WHY WHY WILL THE NOT DO A CAT SCAN? I just don’t get it?????
I have been so sick with intestinal issues for over two years. Just like you, I was blown off.
Finally a PA ordered one and it’s Ulcerative Colitis.
Still having problems, too inflamed for colonoscopy and endoscopy. Worry it’s cancer!!!
My heat breaks for you! A CT would have found it earlier 😢😢😢😢
Most doctors suck these days. It's SAD but TRUE
This is incredibly frustrating to hear over and over again. I’m so sorry that he didn’t take you seriously enough. The arrogance it just bothers me.

@@MyCancerJourneyMaria Maria I am concerned there haven't been any updates how are you?

Everyone should have a CT scan every 3 to 4 years then this stuff would not happen that’s what should be done
Ppl please advocate for yourselves if you have practitioners who do not seem to be hearing you by all means keep going if you feel like your concerns are not being addressed at the very least seek out independent second opinions if your able to.
I wish I kept seeing more doctors instead of listening to ones I went to. I am so grateful that the third one finally listened because I don’t think I’d be here today if she hadn’t.
Doctors will be Doctors saying this and that. I'm 31 year old male and I'm hearing what your hearing all the to them saying oh its stress or Anxiety. Keep going Dear your strong 💪 and you look full of energy. Alkaline diet or raw fruit vegetables are good for the body.

I am so sorry. I’m a 14 year colon cancer survivor, recently Dx with incurable forms of lymphoma & leukemia. No treatment as of yet.
And hopefully not for a long time, if ever. It’s mind boggling.
Last month I had an oophrectomy. There was a mass on one of my ovaries that could have become cancer had it been left in.
I too had to leave my career (therapist/counselor) due to health issues, prior to this Dx.
Cancer can be very isolating, even with an awesome support system.
My email is in the description box of my videos, and in my bio as well. Feel free to reach out at any time. Praying for you.
You beat cancer once so why not again? They are coming out with new therapies and clinical trials that hopefully will address your cancer and I wish you the best. I hope your recovery from your surgery is going smoothly too.
I would insist on being followed closely for a long time. I have now learned that time from last diagnosis (29 years for me) doesn’t guarantee a clean bill of health.
@@MyCancerJourneyMaria Yes, you’re absolutely right! They’ve made huge advances in treatment in the past 6 years alone for what I’ve been diagnosed with. And some people go many years before having to start treatment. I am staying positive!
I see my specialist hem-onc every three months.
So, this is your second cancer Dx?
@@LindaFromMySelfCareStudio 29 years ago I had my ovary and fallopian tube removed, along with a borderline malignancy tumor. At that time, I was very lucky to be able to manage it surgically.
@@MyCancerJourneyMaria Wow, yes, that was a blessing. I hate that you’re dealing with it again after all these years. Cancer is so insidious. 😡 We both know a positive attitude is a powerful force though 😉 You’ve got this.
I'm so sad , the doctors didn't look deeper and listen to you.
Me too. But I now have doctors who do and are doing everything to try to save my life.
Doctors are not gods. We need to advocate for ourselves as women. Doctors tend to think women are just hysterical when they're actually knowing their own bodies. Aloha
I typically do very well advocating for myself but that appointment where I was told the pain was in my head really set me back. I would start talking about my symptoms and the doctor would start talking over me. I tried to clarify some things that he would say, only for him to disregard it. I am still so angry about that appointment because there’s no way he should have missed the tumors in my abdomen and his treatment of me was an abomination.
@@Activities4life As a litigation lawyer, I'm sure you have the skill set needed to advocate for yourself, so it is discouraging to learn that even someone well educated and in a profession such as yours has had difficulty being listened to and taken seriously.
It is - I had a remote cancer history and still no imaging until I went to a third doctor. I even told the second doctor the pain felt like it did when I had an ovarian tumor removed years before but he still refused imaging. It is just unacceptable. Medical gaslighting happens way too much in my opinion.
@@Activities4life Unfortunately, I watch videos where mostly women are being disregarded daily. I’m so sorry that happened to you. Sending positive and healing vibes your way
Sending love and light ! I’m with you , just fight breast cancer ❤
This is why people need to be vigilant about thier health....
You can't always help getting cancer. Even fit and "healthy" people get cancer. Cancer does not discriminate. People need to be vigilant about doctors not blowing them off.
Your persistence will save your life. Also take all those doctors’ files, find an a good attorney and sue. You have rights to competent care.
Remember to live. 💛
This does help others. And I so relate. Aug 6. After two months of miss diagnosis on some lymph nodes I finally got biopsy results. Stage four non H lymphoma. So. What if they figured this out in May at first sign. Right??? I am starting my second chemo next week. Total of 6. Then another pet scan. Maybe by December we will know of this treatment is appropriate. Omg. Job on hold disability payments are half my pay. Apartment will not renew lease now mg income in lower. Just got eviction notice 60 days vacate. I mean. It’s. Hell on wheels. You. Listen. You knew something was wrong You. Are going to be strong. Be your own advocate do tons research. N fight this as your full time job. Ok. And. Your videos will help others n inspire others. Just know. I will include you every day in my prayers. Sending. Blessings. Upon. Blessings to u ❤️🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻
Oh no, I'm so sorry that you had a delayed diagnosis too. I'm not sure where you live, but in my area, there are organizations that will provide legal assistance to people in your situation. There are protections that you may also receive as a result of your diagnosis, so I urge you to try to contact someone to get some assistance. It's just so wrong that they won't renew because of the income drop - talk about kicking someone when they are down. Sending you positive vibes, energy and healing.
If in doubt, go private and get an MRI.
It’s crazy how easily some doctors just shoo you away. How long from your first doctor visit until you got the CT scan?
It depends on how one would define the time period, as abdominal pain was an ongoing issue and every doctor commented about my history of complaining about it. The way I see it, at least five months I lost, if not substantially more. I am really working on putting my anger aside on that issue to focus on my recovery. I absolutely believe that my cancer should have been diagnosed long before it was and because of it, I have a more challenging road ahead of me.
I'm so sorry you are going through this cancer journey. I will follow you, and pray for you. I don't know what state you live in, but, many people are using marijuana to help battle cancer.
It has a proven history of assisting in many illnesses. Please think about it. ❤ 🙏
Thank you 😊
