The last year and half have been a bit of a whirlwind for me. I would be lying if I said it didn't still feel a bit surreal that I am sharing our home and my many projects here on RUclips, and even more surreal how many of y'all have genuinely been interested and have wanted to follow along. I especially wanted to thank y'all for the tremendous response to my front porch makeover video last week. To say that the response has been overwhelming, would be an understatement. Not only was it a joy to transform that space, but it was an equal joy for me to share it with y'all and I cant thank you enough for your sweet comments. And if you found my channel through that videom, which I know many of you have...thank you so much for taking a chance on me and for choosing to be a part of this little community.
Over the last several weeks I have taken y'all along with me as I have refreshed our self proclaimed cottage...room by room for spring...with a couple of project detours sprinkled in...and today I thought it would be fun to give y'all a full home tour, minus the girls rooms. Of course I've made a few minor changes here and there, because...well...I can't help myeslf and I'm already dreaming of how I can finish off a few of the spaces that I haven't showed y'all in a while and my next big project is going to completely transform our hallway. But for now, I'm excited to take y'all on a stroll through our home in its current state.

One of my favorite parts about your home is that it isn’t just like all of the others on RUclips. The mix between old and new is refreshing. So many homes, though beautiful, look like they went to Target and Home Goods and scooped everything up and brought it home and styled it just like the last girl did. All of those are wonderful suggestions! I will try best to incorporate some of that very soon! As for the girls rooms, we’ve been slowly redoing them and as soon as they are close to done I will definitely show them. ❤️❤️
You have such A beautiful, warm and inviting home. You've decorated it so beautifully. I love your pantry..i just hope when we get into whatever home the Lord opens the door for us to purchase, we have a pantry! I really want to organize it and put everything In glass containers.. it looks so neat all the time! And with the few added pieces of decor, its just a pretty space as well😊 Same with the laundry room.. yours is just beautiful❤ And i only hope to have the space, so maybe i can create a beautiful room too! All the rooms are beautiful of course.. just most people don't take the time on laundry & pantry areas. I'm sure you'll decide on what you want to do in the bathroom, but meanwhile it looks beautiful as is! Thank you for sharing your home with us! Enjoyed the video😊
The Lord will lead y’all to perfect the place…I just know it!!! Your absolutely right though, the pantry and laundry do tend to get overlooked. I have found if I make a space pretty, I’m more likely to keep it tidy. That’s not to say it always looks clean, because Lord knows it doesn’t. But it happens far less!! I appreciate your sweet comments every week!! ❤️

@@ourhomeonlawrence I honestly didn't find much. I was unfamiliar with where any good shops were. I did find a goodwill with the bins, a first for me! I found a few things there. Found one more goodwill, but that was it. I really need to do some research and figure out where the antique shops are there. I know there must be some! Lol

Thank you so much!! I did!! I lightly sanded the piano first, taped off the keys and then painted it with a chalk paint. It’s held up pretty darn well! I just need to touch up a few spots. It’s my childhood piano so it’s over 40 years old…just like me! 😂

It was a lovely home tour, I love how you decorated. I just wonder how you keep your home safe while having your cat around lit candels and some I see are with battery's. I'll be nervous having a cat at home knocking stuff off the selves and I imagine how do you do it?
Thank you so much!!! We are always careful with the real candles around the cats. They are NEVER left unattended in a room with candles…and generally they stay off the mantle all together. We love our fur babies over here!! ❤️❤️

You are so talented. I have never commented but 1 time on a u tuber. You need to try with u tuber Old World home. She has 184,000 but it has taken 10 years to get there She decorates like u. She will do a collaboration with you. Then u will be exposed to a lot more people that watch you. She will be back in September. She is a great person and wants everyone to succeed. Hope this helps
