Honestly, if all they gave to base goku was the down medium move, that still would be significant. It literally fixed his biggest problem of lacking hard knockdowns besides the bnb's everyone in the cast can do. Now any combo he does, no matter how long or small, results in hard knockdown for Kaioken follow-ups (Provided that the hitstun of your combos is enough to get the ender of course).
As someone who played baseku and still mains him to this day he was always a really good character arguably the best anchor character at one point and this patch all it did was make him a little more polished I love it here
The most fun character is even more fun now. Also, wouldn't it do more damage in these combos to let the kaioken finisher end, then level 2 kame, instead of only doing half of the finisher then level 2?
Not sure about this patch, but in every earlier patch, doing the full finisher and then level 2 did less damage. The kamehameha finisher scales harder if you allow the finisher to reach the ground.
Wow, i was a baseku main on ps4 but the hard drive got messed up and lost all my data(I had all the colors and event shit you could get) so i stopped playing, but now that i see this baseku I'm more than exited to try it out! I may buy it on pc..
Kaioken is such a badass super, transformation with new chunky moves, command grab, projectile, some tricky mix-up moves and now more. I don't play this game, so I wonder if it's any good in neutral (at max level let's say) ?
It was already called the miracle machine in season 3, but now it could be a solid 3rd or 2nd Also I like the new 2m but I don't think it was necessary to give him invulnerable frame to his grab, kaioken was already a cheap resource but now it's even worse

dude the crazy thing is I already know bc I was teen gohan and I was fighting a base goku so he's at low health I have 3 bars he uses kaioken I level 3 AND I NOTICE THAT HE HAS SUPER ARMOR and thats how I lost the match );

Drop down shot gives you -16 frames after lvl 3. DR is 19 frames…. Dragon rush after spirit bomb is 3 frames. And yes me too

I liked Baseku before, but with his new combo routes and a special move that guarantees knockdown, i feel like i gotta play him again!

Some people think that the damage is scaled a lot if you do the ground finisher then the beam but I’m pretty sure it does much damage like u just said
