- A collection of various clips of US Air Force & US Army aircraft landing and taking off from RAF Mildenhall, UK.
RAF Mildenhall is a Royal Air Force station in Suffolk, UK, owned by the Ministry of Defence but operated by the US Air Force.
The host wing is the 100th Air Refuelling Wing of the US Air Force. The base is also home to the 352nd Special Operations Wing. The 521st Air Mobility Operations Wing, 55th Wing and 363rd Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Wing and US Navy also operate out of RAF Mildenhall on a temporary duty basis. The US Army & US Marine Corp are also occasional visitors.

I always enjoy a visit to Mildenhall (and next-door Lakenheath). I am driving past tomorrow but they are mostly closed for the holidays so I hope to visit for a few hours in January instead. There are very few airbases elsewhere in the UK where where the public get such great spectator viewing. Razor sharp images thx.

Last time I was there was 1981 when I completed my 4 years at Bentwaters,

Why did the white plane land but take off immediately? When it was coming in to land, I thought it had overshot the runway and wouldn’t have distance to stop.
Could be that. Or sometimes we'd do touch n gos to log time.

@@pigandbob if you look at the plane landing again it said this is the plane landing two hours ago and it showed the plane landing then after it landed it showed different planes landing not the one they was talking about
