My names Josie and I am converting a Mercedes Vario into my first home.
In England this week, the topic on the news has very much been about female safety! Discussing the unfortunate truth that woman on a day to day basis think about 'safety'. Sometimes without even being aware of it.
Looking back I have made some decisions on my Van build purely down to safety.
And tinting my windows a perfect example of this.

The windows look great! I had no idea reflective tint blocked so much from the outside looking in. Yet, it looked like you could see out from inside just fine. Good stuff!

My windows was dark tint but you can still see in till I put extra limo tint on top, it’s a game changer for safety plus it keeps my van cooler in the sun so it’s great for my whippets and no one can see in which is great only in dark with my lights on I can see a little in :)

@@BusOffwithJosie the only problem I had was a forest warden thought there was someone sleeping in the van when I was walking my whips, told me not to leave my curtains drawn 😂. I don’t have any curtains up yet 😂

Great job! A question: Does it create the opposite effect at night, where the person outside can see inside and you can't see the outside from the inside? I have made tinted windows on one of my windows at home and I can't see the outside at night.

yesss do it ! I actually got it from amazon - try and get on as close as you can to your window size (makes it a little easier ☺️)

Mirrored window tint reminds me of something I witnessed, that's nsfw, etc;
🤔 Tip: If it's brighter inside than outside, draw the curtains.

Hey, a few things really... Firstly, epic build, is this your first?
Also what license do you hold to drive this? As I'm looking at the VL experience, I'm 6'2" and my biggest fear is head hight... Been looking at the 00-04 Iveco daily's. Just really want to see what you think.
Hi John, yes my first build and thankyou☺️, for this bus I needed a C1 license, (but I got a HGV just for the fun of it really lol) hope your build is going well!
