5 years ago I was lambasted and attacked in multiple comment sections for bringing up cloud seeding and just how long it’s been around and had time to advance, now the news just shows it like it’s nothing! Something in the education system needs to done to help people who treat facts as conspiracies

Cloud seeding involves the use of silver iodide, which is a carcinogen. They cloud seed over my area all the time and 4 of my dogs have died with cancer within the last 24 months. We don’t use pesticides and we use high quality dog food and filtered water.

Back before my time in ‘72, they were using seeding to increase rainfall for western SD. It turned into flash floods and almost decimated the area.
What they dont say is that what they are doing is also taking rain away from other areas. It's not like those clouds were going to stay up there forever. Eventually, they would have become rain on their own. So, depending on where that rain would have fallen, they can cause droughts elsewhere.

You could say that about dams on rivers that go through multiple countries. Heck, China is doing it to its own people by building mega dams on the Mekong river.

Cloud seeding takes a very small percentage of moisture from the atmosphere. It’s done all over and hasn’t shown any negative effects to my knowledge.

This is an idea from centuries ago. Even before the 1860s. But during the Civil War, in 1861-1865, they would shoot cannon balls into the sky, painted with different metallic paints, like copper and iron, etc. This was to attract lightning, and once the lightning hit the balls, it would spread those ions into the atmosphere causing different effects.

One thing I noticed in Dubai is the traffic chaos when it rains. It seems that many roads have no drainage, so it collects and stays until it eventually can evaporate. Quite recently the government asked people to work from home for two days due to the heavy rain.
Sandy soil offers wonderful drain channels between grains and therefore Dubai uses nature to take care of your concern!

You are in a very arid region on the world. That environment is not conductive to heavy rains and its all due to how irresponsible they are with cloud seeding. It's an attempt to force the outcome, when outcomes can be met by creating better initial conditions on the ground.

@@melbellgiveemhell3220 you can look up a U.S military patent from 1957 or 1959, with focus on weather modification, with it also comes an interesting sentence i try and quote "the goal is, by 2020 the research has gone so far to 100% manipulate the weather"
i didnt make this up, it is an over 60 year old patent that is in the books.

That’s a common thing most people have shallow minds. But this technology started in 1946 so there is no conspiracy they was right. Most conspiracy theorists are smart people catching things most can’t.

@SubZeroTemp11 Most conspiracy people? Flat earth, hollow earth, lizard people, that's just to name a few Vast majority of conspiracies are fantacies people dream up in order to self validate. A way to pump the ego because "they figured something out and eveyone else didnt" The cloud seeding was never even a conspiracy to begin with, most just misunderstood what that meant.
