Just ordered yesterday. On-sale at hd. I appreciate you sharing your knowledge. The speed queen was my final choice but I can't justify the prices in these times we're in
I have this machine and so far I love it. (4 loads late). It really gets the clothes clean. And that's what I wanted. Update. I had washed 9 loads not 4.I had washed some sheets and blankets. The blankets were Queen size I think. I might take them to the new laundry mat right down the road. But I might not take them down there.
trying to figure out what the most affordable 4.5 cu washing machine with an agitator and simple (no light up screens) is. I looked up a few GE's but many reviews say this brand sucks.
The Amana top loader is the worse washer I ever had it lasted not even two years. I didn’t even want to fix iy because I feel it never worked right from the beginning I would hear the drum banging against the cabinet despite not overloading or distributing wrongly . I got this one . Praying it works . I mean I could fix the amana but part of me just didn’t have time or patience I have a house full of kids and waiting for the parts takes time . Considering it but my concern is even I fix that broken agitator.. which it makes a humming making if clicking sound and doesn’t agitate… would that be a motor ?? Anyhow I just hate waste but couldn’t stand the amana .
Hello.. i'm in the market to get another washing machine like right now! I've seen this one in my local Lowes. Would you recommend this GE model over the Whirlpool WTW4816FW? I definitely think i want something with physical knobs and not all the computer/electronic stuff. I was also looking at the GE model up from this one which is the GTW585BSVWS. Your thoughts please? I'd greatly appreciate it!
It doesn’t wash the clothes well the clothes still stink even with a lot of soap but I got a speed queen I know it’s not in the price range but speed queen washes better in that price range just get a Amanda
I just bought my set at Lowe's. Both Lowe's and Home Depot have a really good 3 or 5-year warranty, covering parts and labor and it's not too expensive. $140 ish for 5 years, but you have to "insure" the washer and dryer separately. Btw it's an amazing washer. Press and hold the 'deep water' button until the light comes on, and it fills up as far as the old school washers. Great oscillating and spin. Really turns the clothes over.
I hate this washing machine. Why the heck can I not open the lid the check the load of laundry without closing it and it dumps more water in it and then my clothes are severely soaking wet when I take them out.
I have had disastrous experience with GE service, and will never again buy anything with the GE (Grief Expected) brand name or any of its affiliated brands. The only thing worse than the products is the service experience.

I’ve had mine since 2018 and I only had to replace the drain pump this spring and that cost me about $35. It’s a pretty good washer for a cheap price.
Amen sister
My 2015 GE washer I Haven't had one issue. But likely go LG when this dies.
bought the pair used from a neighbor for 500 back in 2018. Replaced the water hoses last year and drain pump Tuesday, only repairs so far. 🇺🇸💪🏼

So either get this or Speed Queen?

Thank you! ❤
I’ve heard that this washing machine is very loud.

How long is the wash time?
So this one or the etw485aswwb? What do you think? I'm struggling to pick.
I never got the need for an 'extra rinse or extra spin' - that sounds like a provision for when your pump begins to fail in a short amount of time?
What do you think about the Gtw585bsvws?
I have this same washer from 2020 and works perfectly only had to replace the locking mechanism once but other than that it perfect
It moves all crazy when washing
Nice video
Just bought one today had a huge discount
were you able to wash bedding in it? sheets ,blankets etc.
How big is it
I would rather have a used Whirlpool Direct Drive washing machine.
I'd get the low end Amana. They are tried and true.
Go back and look at the reviews on Amanda washing machines.😅
@@RAINMAN309 it's only the bottom end one. They are the most basic model.
Our basic amana took a dump and after throwing an actuator and a lock switch im done with them
Amana sucks.

I would think Whirlpool is better. I hear this one is very loud. Did you purchase one? How are you liking it?

Do you recommend the extended warranty?

I bought my SpeedQueen set for $1400. This is $1200. Hmmmm
Where did you get the set for $1400?
@@BillSmith-qx8ed appliance store in Edmond, OK. I think the store has closed now but not sure.
Ur Math Be Off!
@@gleamtarrest6310 600 each is 1200.
Edmond ok great town used live there!!
Except that potential violent spin cycle.... makes this a non-starter.
Harber Lakes
It’s a terrible washer… nothing but issues and headaches. 😣
This is disheartening - it has an amazon rating of only 2.6 out of 5
Is this the same washer?? ruclips.net/video/HaVoiNy6kDc/видео.htmlsi=vIDb2wuV7dBQLTN3
This machine is the absolute worst buy ever
