I'm an amateur detailer myself, I really only do friend's and family's cars and I gotta say that Clay Bars are seriously like a detailer's secret weapon. Its unreal how smooth and shiny a clean car can get from a quick clay job. Fantastic cleanup on this car man, looks amazing.

Steam cleaners are so underrated. The amount of time it cuts from your detail is amazing. Too many detailers want to use chemicals in the interior, that your customers don't want to smell

I seriously cannot even express how much joy these videos bring me!!!! Last week I was so pumped up and inspired by the red vw that I went outside and detailed both my and my husbands cars!!!! Love this!!! I asked my husband for a steam upholstery cleaner for my birthday so I can do our seats!!!! Eeeeeeeep!
Also why use a steam cleaner for those? Never had an issue using the pressure washer for gas cap and my jambs. Angle it right and you won't get any water on the interior and ten times quicker lol

@@bskjonnemand for an entire interior? It takes like 5 hrs minimum to do that, I detailed inside and out one of my friends dads old car from the 80s a year ago and it took all day but it turned out good. So hed be working for roughly 10/hrs which seems fine
I know the pricing is steep but I could care less about the money I want to share my joy of helping others that dont have the time or want to clean out their vehicle. I actually enjoy detailing and taking apart a vehicle and cleaning It i know its a bit weird but its a hobby I like to do in my free time.I recently purchased TheRugDoctor as a substitute extractor but I try my best to do a good job of interior detailing and am learning more along the way

When your detail labor exceeds the value of the vehicle... Lots of great tips and tricks in here. Plastic trim dressing is way overlooked yet truly makes a car pop.
You can also leave an open bowl of vinegar, we prefer apple vinegar inside the car and it will pull smells out of the vehicle. It might smell like vinegar for a minute but that goes away almost immediately when you open the door to air it out.
This is so much fun! A couple days ago I bought a headlight cleaner.. I didn’t know it existed before that, but I’m so glad I found out because it’s gonna help me see so much better😌
Hey Stauffers garage, I’m 14 and really wanna start earning money by detailing cars, I have a good carpet cleaner and a shop vac, a drill, angle grinder and a lot of tools as I am restoring my grandpas 1969 Chevy C10, I need to get money to afford some of the parts and I wanna know what I’ll need to start detailing at a basic level, I do live in a city that it mostly big families so the cars are gonna probably have some heavy dirt.
I'm gonna guess water because you put #ARIELUNDERTHESEA earlier in the vid when you were talking about the next project. I'm guessing it got caught in a flood or something. Literally watching these makes me want to get everything to detail my own car!! I love these videos!
Great job buddy! I see you like a few CG products. So many people bash them, but I aso use several of their products as a detailer and I'm happy with them.
Having seen his videos for a while, he always seems to be buying cars and cleaning them up. Unless he has a reason to keep it, I think he sells them and makes a decent profit. Also, his channel at nearly 300K subscribers might bring in some revenue as well (not sure how RUclips revenue works, admittedly). I also love the fact that he tells us what products he uses, and I can't help but wonder whether the companies that make these products give him products for free to try, or even a discount plan for long-term. Even if some of the above is true... it must be nice. Except for the smell. I bet that wasn't nice. At all.

Nicely done and informative video, thanks for posting! One additional step I perform on my cars is to steam clean the undercarriage to get rid of grime and any residual road salt that has accumulated over time. Most professional detailers won't offer that unfortunately.

I want to be amazed by the transformation but the camera's colour balance switches from a yellow (before) tint to a blue (after) one? Which totally exaggerates the original dirt level, especially for car seats and whatnot. I'm sure it's amazing even without the colour filters! But the filter really leaves me hanging.

You can use the same compound with a handheld polishing pad. Watch a video on hand polishing. Takes about 5x the time and you will be worn out afterwards.
The steam cleaner is such a great tool to use, especially for interiors since it’s just water being used, I had a client for example who had a sensitivity to some products and so I had to use the steam cleaner to get things cleaned up, highly recommend investing in one for anyone since you can use it around the house too
I've just bought a used car and I cannot remove the smell of weed, I've hovered, used apc, only thing left to do I assume is shampoo carpets, ozone and search for the stash?
Someone else commented that leaving an open bowl of vinegar in the car for a few hours removes the smell. Then you just have to air it out a little to remove the vinegar smell, but that goes away quickly.
@@rugger8787 I'm from the UK so I don't think that would be available around here! I've used one of those meguairs odour bombs but still lingers underneath the smell of that, the guy who had this car before me must have been shifting ounces of weed, the amount of leaf and small buds in the boot was enough to get me high for a week alone!

What do u use for stains on black cloth seats. I have a Subaru cross trek with a stain from what I think is milk. I used a shampooer with carpet shampoo but that was not able to pull it out. Went away but came right back after dry.

Ozone machine for an hour will get rid of any odors.
Elizabeth Chetwood I think he has one now, but for those who don’t want to it one of those vinegar will work in a pinch :)
A few lemons cut in half also work really well! Removes odor and smells great!

What other products can you use on your headlights if you don't have the machine.
You can use the same compound with a handheld polishing pad. Watch a video on hand polishing. Takes about 5x the time and you will be worn out afterwards.
If you have a drill you can also get one for that so you don’t have to buy the whole machine.
Paint protection film is great for keeping those headlights nice and clear for a couple of years. It'll protect them from rock chips too 👍🏻
