There’s a few comments that keep referring to Gly as a team or guys, just to clarify guys, Gly is a one man show! A lone wolf pack leading his own path haha. Keep up the great content, Gly!
@@AbandonedandForgottenPlaces I think I've followed you since your first episode, and being laid-up bedridden due to a disability you sir have always kept me company with your kick ass explorations keep it up and thank you Gly!
i am always amazed how much work those miners put into making those mines just mine blowing to what lengths they would go to. And GLY it must of been one hell a track back out must of taken a good time to get back too old Bob you must of been floored after that one amazing work you do for us all.
They inadvertantly created a new eco-system for the small critters around there. Before they only had natural openings now, they have huge burrows! Great Video!
G l y you scared the crap out of me how how are you walk those cliff like you do and not fall but I really enjoy your videos thanks a million watch you ever Saturday but be careful
I even watched Mr M's ratings of Vienna sausage and I could have told him that that prairie brand would have been crap. Maybe eventually we can get him to do a video on sardines. 🤣
Thanks for another great explore. And a 2fur to boot!!!😮😊. What a treat. Have a good and safe week and looking forward (as always) to next Saturday. Your channel is the best.
These are some really beautiful places you take us to. I live in a heavily forested area in Virginia but have traveled to the mountains here. I can only imagine how beautiful it'd be there on a clear night to just stare into the skies!! BTY, I've seen every one of your vids & knew you were a 1 man show for some time now & can only say Please, please, please BE SAFE!! And Thank You!👍
Gly ,,,, your videos are like opening a treasure chest every Saturday. Always a work of art on display. Thank u for sharing your talents and knowledge , much admiration. What an inspiration you r.
Gly, thanks once again for a great adventure shared with us. I loved the walk and the turquoise blue skies you only get out west. Wish I could be hiking up there too. Reminds me of my happiest healthiest years when I lived in the mountains in Colorado! And hiked. And enjoyed every moment of my time out there. Thanks for bringing those memories back. You're the greatest! Be careful out there!
Gly, thankyou for all the hard work that you put in to all of your videos.I bet not many people who can say that they can say,i kicked the bucket 3 times making this video for my subscribers.
I like the eye level effect all along that length of adet. (must be from your shoulder camera?). Apparently you have no allergies as you said it smells of musty & moldiness at 28:27. After such an outing my nose & sinuses would be all stuffed up. See!!! another avenue of enjoyment that I have by watching vircariously through you. Looks to be some rugged hills that you're in and yet the mine owner found this site!! A crazy, cool "hike". Thanks for recording it.
11:19 It's 1lb can of Thomson & Taylor BREAKFAST CUP COFFEE - Drip Grind (Apparently out of Chicago, IL. There is a nice pic on Ebay.) This is the kind of can you open with a key that peels a strip off all the way 'round the can.
Those guys sure went through the coffee. Tungsten mine, huh. Did a good job in getting it out. Nice going Gly, did a fantastic tour, short and sweet. You sure don't disappoint.
Sorry, pushed a wrong button. I was getting a lil nervous about you climbing up on the ridge. Slow and steady wins the race, as they say. Stay safe and catch ya next week.
If there's anyone watching this video who's confused with stalactites and stalagmites just think of it this way if the mites come up your tights go down. If you remember that you will always remember the difference.
Hey Gly! That was quite the hike getting in. Don’t hear you swear often if ever. I imagine that was a pretty heart rate raising moment! Glad you made the hike back out Thanks for exploring another really cool location with everyone. 👋
Yeah! I can definitely imagine, a hidden false floor can be quite dangerous indeed. 😨 It's probably one of the things I'd be the most concerned about myself, if I was ever inside an abandoned mine. (For whatever reason lol)
Wow Gly, 2 awesome episode's what beautiful country/ day and what effort you have gone to to show us this . Next week sounds cool , always keen for more. Pete Australia 🇦🇺
6:52 If only I could smell something, anything, but no. Thanks to coronavirus, I can't smell or taste anything. 🐀💩😒 12:28 Mr. Oppen-Stopitch, who's he? 27:12 Thank You for taking us to these dangerous, yet beautiful places.
Heck of a view from up there. If I got there I might never come down. Hellacious lot of work to get in there, imagine hauling all that equipment up the cliff... betcha they built the winch first. T'ain't even been any sheep up there lately. [Here for the unique scenery and the fascinating mines... sorry, kinda had enough of the walking selfies, your handsome face looks the same every week.]
AWESOME New streamlined intro!! 👍 (Not that I'm against the old one, but it could sometimes get multiple minutes long lol that gets somewhat frustrating, sometimes, when you came to see the amazing content, short and sweet is better.) (But, that's just me talking lol whatever _that's_ worth!) 😇✌ #ConstructiveCriticism #DontShootTheMessenger
I’m sure you’ve done this before, but would you go over your equipment pack and show us all the stuff you bring. I think that it would be interesting episode. As a avid hiker, I use trekking poles. I know that some people have a fondness for wood poles but wonder if you would consider a quality pole like Black Diamond? Not affiliated in any way, they can be extremely lightweight and sturdy. I’ve never had one snap in two like if it jams between 2 rocks and they slide together to 1/3 the size. I can put a lot of weight on them when I go up and down hills. This came to mind while you were going down hill with your gear. Your stick looked very cumbersome. Just suggesting. SJ
Correct, there are NO guys in Gly's Team of Producers and Creators. But I suspect we have a batch of 'Gly's' pulling strings to keep our "Gly" on track with explorations that thrill his fans while stopping just short of maiming him and watching him retire a vegetable and being cared for by Mary and sometimes, Randy at a RV park in southern Nevada... So keep him in GoPro batteries AT ALL COSTS!!! Hugs from Pioneer town, CA!! Home of nearby Rose and Baldwin Mines!
I love your steady cam/image stabilization, and slow pan. Keeps me from getting dizzy. Was that a track gauge at 11.26? The notched wood piece looked like it might be for setting the distance between the rails... Thanks for taking us on your explore!
Great explore, I'm so glad you made it to the rat poopy mine. Them sky lights were stopetastic. Barite is a boring color, but I guess they needed it back then. Noticed the green flag while you were climbing down to the mine. Not sure if you dropped it or you put it there on the bushes. Anyway that trail to the mine was beautiful. Thanks for another fantastic tour of the Nevada mines.
I love watching your videos I should be doing my university work but this so much more interesting than the work 😃 iam watching with snacks 😊 love from 🇬🇧
always interesting to watch 💕👵

Hey Gly, that was a Richfield Oil 30 gallon drum circa 1940-1950 era. In 1963 Richfield merged with Atlantic to become ARCO.
